@@kevdebable where does it say to play this in strict time or a closer adherence to strict time kev? and would you like to show us? why don't you play this on trumpet for us? make a video, come on let's hear you play it in 'strict time...' and do you know what "con duolo" means kev? it means "with pain." a musical belaboring of the section that conveys the inner turmoil and inevitable sadness behind pain. if you can't use rubato for this, then where the hell can you use it? lighten up brother, allow yourself to be a musician on occasion and not just a bloody typewriter. enjoy some high notes too, play music because you like to play. I've met some keyboard commandos in my time but good grief
@@trumpetjordy I think it is pretty funny that you are getting this upset. 😊 Obviously, you were trying to show off your high range, but you do not have the control to do it justice. Read the other people's comments if you want your ego stroked and let's let pieces intended for other instruments be played by said instruments.
