Great video pal, Volbeat here. In my field there's a term called 'analysis paralysis' which is similar to what you described here. Over planning, constantly questioning yourself and flipflopping ideas often results in no work, or factory building in this case, getting done. Often the best way forward is to set a theme or high level concept and just start building and adapt and adjust as you go along.
This is very good Kylo I appreciate the ideas. I am currently building a diluted fuel plant and I am dreading the long rectangle because of the many fuel generators. So I am starting to redesign it again this weekend. It will be 67 fuel generators for 10,000 mw of power. This will be my 3rd start over on this plant.
Thankyou for the great video again! The video really helps me planning factories. I was one of the guys who just put down a square platform, slapped some mashines onto it and designed around it. I guess i'll try to change my designs now xD Can you do a video showing how to design around a single mashine? I always use the normal mashines without a design and it just looks bad.
It’s much harder to design after you do production unless you have a decent plan! You can also try hopping between production and designing, it can help a bunch!
I just try to see what i might need for all the unlocks in the phase. Its really hard to make enough early/mid game. Lots of the time you still have to increase production.
Please make at least some of your video be at ground level. That's how most of your audience is building, not hovering around. It doesn't look the same and is much harder. Thanks.

Analysis paralysis is an interesting term, never thought of it that way. You learn something every day
Great video Kylo, very professional and awesome content, best of luck for growing the channel.
Thanks for the kind words!
Really enjoying your videos, just found them and already hooked.

Try not to go too crazy on another rebuild! I still believe simple is better!

Hey thanks, been loving making the how to design videos!
You helped me alot in these videos, i’m excited for more :D
Hey thanks!
Should someone with less than a hundred hours in the game be thinking about design in planning? 200 hours?
Thanks a lot please keep share a videos
Once the holidays are over I want to make this a weekly series!
That's what i need
how do you choose how much of something you want to produce?
