I agree about the vibe of the house but I think there is a lack of taste in bringing her old square and rectangular furniture from england. she should throw them away and go for custom made stuff that marry elegantly to the shape of the walls, she also needs an interior advisor service to add some color patches and optimize that type of space.

This is a very inspirational video guys. Love this. Seeing a eco friendly home in Jamaica is encouraging - this is where we need to go in our developments.
The designer / builder really knows his craft. and Julia has a rich artful taste in designing the inside of the property. I would have enjoyed hearing her voice more in the video. 🙏
It would have been nice to hear more from Dwight the builder. Luckily you posted their website, so I was able to answer some questions. Impressive project and serious about sustainability. I think your audience should know their buildings are NHT approved. Thank you for introducing them!

Like the bookcase. It’s called a pantry in the US. When I am building my home, I want a library inside. Also an entry way, it won’t be the typical Jamaican design, NO WAY!
Love this dome house. I have seen programs on a basic dome house in America ( catering to low income) but nothing this beautiful. Love the art work and use of wood against the white walls. The couple is living their best life. Lastly, I like the underground water tank. Years ago, my sister saw this when she visited her in- laws in Bermuda. Mr and Mrs. Delprat, your channel is on another level. Thanks for the content. I hope that you will follow up on the young couple, you visited about a year ago, who were building, as they occupy, their home in Mo Bay, I think.😢
All I know is... Julia floor a bline mi yeye dem. Mi love it. Makes me want to ditch tiles and wood floors when I get to that stage in my life. The house, though not exactly like anything Jamaica is used to traditionally, it does have traditional elements here and there, especially by Julia's choices. I find her house actually somewhat nostalgic. All in all, this is a genius idea, especially for St. Thomas. Smart contractor.
I love this stylish and beautifully eco friendly house. This is very good for Jamaica. Simplicity is at its best with sustainable living and cost effective.
They have a website in the description. The homes are NHT approved and I don't know the exact cost, but it's safe to say about half of a conventional built home.
This is such a beautiful home! It’s design captures nature which gives such peace and calmness! The designer did such a wonderful job and the homeowner touch of decorating is on point.
This is a BEAUTIFULLY designed home. I love the design and features of the domes itself and the decor that Julia chose. Those wooden designs are priceless and loved the carved doors, especially liked the idea of the louvers on the door to promote airflow. She did an excellent job on the garden as well 👏 😍. I especially liked the way the domes catch rainwater and that storage is underground - makes sense to have the 'guttering' at the base of the dome (instead of the roof as traditional houses do) as it allows ease of access to keep it clear of debris. My favourite feature is the tube lights 🤩 how amazing it must be at nighttime, when there's a full moon. Very well thought through designs.
Perched on a hilll, surrounded by Nature, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Perfect! Different! beautiful! Amazing scenery. I 💖 it..... I read somewhere that Dome Houses can better wthstand Hurricanes. Hurricane winds blow over them, not into them 😊 I'd like to live in one, one day soon. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful I'm here in America amazed at the beauty of this awesome home I've seen other dome homes but these builders are truly top of the line builders along with the beautiful landscape of Jamaica they're the best
This is nice, with solar power + water harvesting + starlink internet it means you can get a cheap remote piece of land anywhere in Jamrock and live like you're in a developed part of the country- NICE.
