...and shit.
I like the way he talks about boolean like it's murder
Thanks for the shout-out and the video link in the description ! 🙏
In my latest video that I posted 2 days ago I show how to cleanup the topology after a boolean operation on curved surfaces.
It's more advanced but it will help a lot of you. 💪
the topology god...
@@felixhoklay2377 Thanks man!
Finally... someone that is taking a no bullshit approach to tutorials. The speed and attitude is spot on. Thank you
Damn, this passive aggresive tutorial has taught me more then the dozen of hours I've watched on a dedicated topology channel. Keep it up bro! I love the energy of this vid
Thank you my friend
Probably the most condensed, saturated and concise modeling tutorial ever created! Thank you!
I'm a beginner and like every beginner I went through countless guides learning this and that but no tutorial ever taught me the most basic stuff like you did. Thank you for that. It does make sense but for a beginner it's not entirely obvious on how to reach it because there are so many tools that "simplify" your work (although they just cause more issues like boolean modifier). Thank you so much really
this was one of the few time in a blender tutorial where i heard "do this , because" and not only "do this"
Mad respect for showing how things should be done, I've been watching all these hardops boxcutter boolean nonsense videos and struggling to model anything coherent, I followed your approach and shit finally started to make sense!
well they are not nonsense but A is right, without topology knowledge it might screw you pretty badly. These videos are for with their "no topology needed ever, fuck it, buy this expensive addon instead" approach are shit. These addons are super useful but since those promoters have solid money from their sells they are acting like assholes and purposely mislead people telling them just half of the info. For advanced users they are informative, for beginners are like fucking cancer.
Just found this channel and the topology explanation here works across all 3D software. I really wish I would have found this when I was in college lol. I like the delivery. It’s easier to understand an explanation from someone like this who’s explaining it like we are hanging out versus someone trying to “teach”.
Why is this guy screaming at me...
because you arent listening
But I like it
You mean "at us"?
it would be cool if you make game assets in video
You Samira main bro
Best blender channel in my opinion. I saw a lot of blender tutorials but not many actually explained why they used such function. Now I can make stuff with good topology. Thank you for your amazing tutorials.
Loving the attitude and the straight to the point. My Favorite blender channel so far.
Really appreciate this video. I’m new to blender and this is the first video on this topic, that I would call applicable. And not overwhelming someone on how to pull out the knife tool to form to cut the proper quads (which later for sure is important, but not on my level).
I really feel I could try to repeat the contents in this video and then after a while pull it off myself more or less.
Good stuff
This is why i love your tutorials & channel. All we need is loop tools and that's it. You are awesome.
My man is putting out absolute bangers almost everyday! Thanks so much for this.
I think this is the first non bs blender tutorial I’ve seen! And I’ve seen about a hundred. Appreciate it👌🏻 subbed
man, you are the most precious finding on UA-cam, thanks a lot for your job
I love this dude. He explain things so good and keeps its so simple. 💯
as somebody studying game art at college your videos are a lifesaver 🙏
Aryan the go to channel regardless of where you got the information from. Thanks man.
1:15 instead of using modifiers you can just subdivide the cube in edit mode and press ALT + Shift + S then slide your mouse and you will get a perfect sphere out of it
It's not exactly the same. Your method causes tiny shading problems after "shade smooth", but Aryan's method doesn't. Give it a try and compare both types of sphere in Render display and in Wireframe display as well. In Wireframe display it is clearly visible that Aryan's sphere has got smoother boundary lines everywhere around the sphere, however on your circle you can see stronger breaks on the boundary lines. This is because on your sphere the former cube verteces transformed into a hexagon-like shape, but on Aryan's sphere those shapes are much more like a triangle, that allows the boundary lines to be smoother.
Thank you so much for this great video! You are really one of the best blender tutorial channels!❤❤❤❤👌👌
absolute legend, thanks man
Dude, You have awesome link between charisma and teaching, keep on doin. Subbed for more!
nice explanation. last time i just use boolean modifier sometimes can be not perfect for what i want. and here you show the other way. Thank you!
My focus time in tutorials is terrible overall, but this one is so funny and educational that i watched and laughed the whole video.
Keep these comin 💪
I will,thank you
you are amazing bro. nobody talk about this things.
i never knew a tutorial can be this good god damn
my guy is preaching on that last bit. goated
amazing, and straight to the point, new subscriber for sure!!!
Bro i am really obsessed your tutorials Superb🥰
I always wait for your tutorial. Because, your tutorial means full of techniques and I learned also learning many things from you. Thanks a lot and love form our heart ❤❤❤
Superb tutorial! The best, easy to learn
Thanks so much for your tutorials!!!! it's extremely helpful!
Simple and clear. Thank you.
Loved the video. Thank you Aryan
Hey man, thanks for this! I knew most of this of it but was taught it theoretically, separately from actual practice, or just for booleans, seeing how you actually use it in real modelling is so useful. Especially cleaning high poly - I am like "hey, I recognize it!" all the time - but I never really thought of it as of high poly to low poly process. And the shrinkwrap technique was mindblowing - so easy but I never thought about it. Also, for soft, naturally looking edges I use bevel modifier, it's just important to pay attention for overlapping geometry.
Awesome tutorial. Thanks!!
Yesss another video like this, this was very nice and useful 👍
Subscribed! Great work man 👍🤓
im at first 2 episodes of the donut tutorial, but i am saving this vid because i know i i will need it in the future 😅. Thanks!
Great tips and energy 👍
Dude! Thanks. now I know a bit why I didn't understand blender and quit often.
Im now obsessed with making a proper topology on my game assets to the point that I can't sleep if i have a model i haven't fixed yet
awesome! thank you for knowledge!
my man you're the funniest blender channel on youtube I swear, you're way of teaching things is so funny, I can tell you that you know your stuff and you're not here to talk bs like other channels, you go straight to the point and make it funny too
Which Blender UA-cam channels sell the most nonsense?
@@ArijanRace The ones you find directly after you write " blender tutorials " on UA-cam. They are all here trying to teach things while telling stories about their lives or their sponsors or some paid addons, ain't nobody got time for that. UA-cam should put channels like yours first when people wanna learn blender. You a real one, you tell and teach the truth about this software, might be harsh to some people but it's the truth.
Great ass tutorial bro! I learned so much and now my objects have no triangles
This tutorial really helped me to learn something I tried to do recently on my own project. It required cutting a circual shape but i just could not do it.
I have learn a lot from this video you have my respect
This is a nice tutorial thanks
Very good and great explanation
Thankyou master Aryan
more topology tips please!
Thank you Aryun
you are the truth! keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Thanks I really like your videos
MIND BLOWING. Now I can say , Back benchers do some crazy shit. Keep up the good work.
nice video. congrats
I'v learnt some handy tips here. This is my kind of tutorial: straight to the point, no "Delete dedfault cube" nonsense and explaned with just enough detail to keep things moving.
You make a good point about paying for addons to use on a free program/platform when the softweare can do it already with a little knowhow is mad.
Third parties making money off something thats free seems out of order to me.
Thank you for tips
Thanks man
blender tutorial.. Very useful and cool
I like your style very much 😂❤
Ti si Kralj! Subscribed
Hvala brate zz
Yo, I love this guy
10:28
I completely agree with you👌👌👌👍
2:34, I agree that even density help to make your life easier but as we subdivide our geometry 3-4 times, it becomes very difficult make changes in the base shape of the model which we have earlier before subdivision, i saw 3ds max solve this problem with edit poly modifier where we can preserve any level of subdivision and we just add subdivision and edit poly modifier to add secondary detail and another combo of Subdiv+Edit poly modifier to add tertiary detail. then comes the best part, we can edit changes in primary level and it reflected in secondary detail which makes your editing very flexible.
Instead of selecting faces and press X then dissolve just select faces and press F.
Also, in the edges dropdown there is an option called select sharp edges which select edges directly.
Also sometimes shading issues are fixed by weighted normal modifier as well.
Your tutorials are awesome, you try to show hardness but inner you care so much for artists as you his struggle. it is reflected in your teaching..
you know what man, respect. mad respect. right where you mentioned all these other tutorials that push addons, especially that paid shit, drives me nuts. i'm not new to this, but i still have a lot to learn, this video alone is a fuckin gem. i'll be joining your patreon once i can find a damn job again... being broke sucks... but for what you're teaching and giving us, the shit that no one else dares to share, you deserve it bro. if you're out there, and you can join, hook this dude up so he keeps sharing. thank you man 🙏
Unfortunately some addons are really useful, quadremesher and uv packmaster just to name a few. The difference between UV unwrap manually and with UV packmaster is night and day.
@@gabrielegagliardi3956i thought packmaster is only to pack UVs. r u sure about unwrapping? 🤔
ok good not shirt off this time. a straight men friendly 3D tuturial finally on this channel finally!
Very interesting tutorial. Now I know how to clean my shit and that it's ok to have n-gons once the mesh is finished.
This is like my big brother tying to teach me how to model xD im all for it
Damn, you rock!
you are my hero .
I like your self-confident and clear representation style.
Thank you
Thanks!
Thank you 👑
Friend, thank you for what you do, everything is very clear and without unnecessary fuss, I’m from Russia and I have to watch your videos with subtitles.
But you really are doing very cool things, keep going!
Tell me where I can write to you for fitback?
Thanks again!
This dude's talking like he's a war veteran who's trying to teach me tips on how to survive the next 6 minutes in no-mans-land.
Good video btw, loved it!
you halp me so much, thank you!
bro thnx a lot
love the Kufiya ♥
It would be amazing if you could dive into topology even further
I liked the damn video!
Baby wake up Aryan dropped a new video😊
thanks
Legend
Good shit, right here.
SUPER
Good sh!t brother!
Long live Boolean! 😊
thanks for the tutorial, btw what is the cast modefier used for in this example 1:20 ?
An alternative way to cut obscure shaped holes into another object is with Knife Project.
Great lessons but when e-book update drop?
enlighted video
Please make a full car modeling tutorial from scratch and animation
Make game assets please!...modelling, texturing(shading) and baking
Hi! good videos and good channel, new sub here! One question, what do you think about add-ons for hard surfaces and retopology, and which ones are the best for you?
Thank you!
Hey, thank you for the support. I don't use any add-ons, Thomas Colin is a pro and he often does so he has better info about this
@@ArijanRace I will check! anyway, your content is great, so thank to you for sharing tips and ideas!
