Hey man thank you! There not really a "best" way to learn, the only way is to keep practicing everyday. Pick a random object, set a deadline, and try to model harder models everytime!
Great Video! I have one question, how did you align the top loopcut to the bottom vertex at 1:36? Probably a short cut but I don't know how to achieve that🙏
You have to enable the snapping button like I did in the video, and just drag the edge with the Guizmo towards to vertex you want the edge to be aligned with, that's very simple!
I am not trying to hate here or anything just curious. Why do we need so much topology on a flat surface shown in first fix? Isn't it better to just wipe those edges inside and leave it as single face reducing topology?
Hey man, no worries I was waiting this kind of questions! It's because the first part is a small detail on a bigger model. It has to have more subdivision to be able to be connected with the other parts. I don't know if that makes sens ? It does in my head 😂. And because it's a subd model, it needs some loops to handle the surface tension!
hey man, another great tips and tricks as always, love it! May I ask how could you change the color of UI theme please? I like this color style, thank you!

It used Basic already but of course, it was pretty expensive toy so nobody would dare to invite engineers with their dangerously curious minds to play with it.
