- Antique Shopping in France with our friends lovely Billy from @ThePethericks & lovely Ryan from @lifeofryan. for a special project !
We struck gold an old 17-18th century Master Painting and lots of antiques .

That was absolutely more fascinating than even a regular museum visit- all these historic items that you have the option to touch and hold. I especially like Billy's painting. It's an absolute treasure worth every cent he paid for it.

lol That's what I don't like about all these chateaus videos. These Videos have lost their individuality and now these three channels are just one never ending video lacking originality. Additionally, some of us may have lost respect for some other "Chateau Channels" due to their lack of follow through, greediness and drama. UGH I have really enjoyed the last few videos on this channel. The kitchen sink, the pool, Edd's increased humor and smiling. lol

I didn't get a very close look at it, but I think the first candlestick you picked up is a "courting" candlestick. It holds a taper candle, which is pushed down into the candlestick. The candle is lit when a gentleman "comes calling" on his lady, and as the candle burns it raises, and when the candle reaches a certain level, it's time for the gentleman to leave.
“We’re rich Billy! Now you don’t have to go back to Gwen!” Lol. I died laughing when Ryan said that🤣🤣

Anna you can buy bed frames for full that make Queen beds! I know I love mine. With covers you can’t even see its a little wider frame. Love going shopping with you guys! So different than US flee markets.

hope you wasnt in the doghouse billy with gwendoline the painting was truly lovely i liked how he frame complemented the painting and the colors were just right for your property. its a good investment. Anna you did a great job on your first attempt at reupholstering the chair you did and i think if you added the metal umholstery pins it will set it off a treat

oha, i live in the village that is called Heemskerk - like the painters name - just a few kilometers to the north/west of Haarlem where is was born! cool!
Could the pot Billy picked up at the beginning be a “basting pot”? It would hold oil or meat fat and as you turned the meat on the spit over the fire you would brush the meat with the oil or fat to keep it moist.
I can't belive you didn't grab the Hermes Constace crocodile bag !!! 😳👜
