Striving to be more like Stephanie. She never moans or complains. She is so positive and always has a kind word for everyone and is just a genuine ray of sunshine. Love the Lalande life. You are all amazing people!
What a gentleman you are Phillip, you braved the cold recently waiting in a freezing cold car waiting for Stephanie outside the hospital and now you saved her from the cold when you bought her the gloves. You're a top man.
What I love about Phillip is his child-like joy when he experiences beauty or little creatures. He has such an appreciation for Architecture and Decor. And he is a lovely pianist. I enjoy his talents. Anna and her Phillipp are wonderful and so authentic in presentation of their family and personal relationship. Their Chateau is so comfortable and appealing, I particularly love the teal salon. Magnificent Tour. Charming Hosts and, of course our beautiful Stephanie and Marie and our own Phillip. Thank you one and all.

You are such a good guide, even in the rain. Funny, I live at the foot of the Samuel de Champlain bridge in Montreal:) Nice touch of history for Canadians.
Lovely video! My husband came over to Québec, Canada from Honfleur when he was 10! His family lived in Blanc Mesnil on the outskirts of Paris. I can’t wait to show him this vlog this evening! And Samuel de Champlain! Never knew there is a plaque of him in Honfleur! I am so happy to see you all at Anna and Philip’s chateau! I love their chateau also! When I was in Bali for the second time I was with a family friend, He took me to an art gallery. He was thinking we would be in and out, but I was showing him how to look at art. We were there for 2 hours just engrossed at what we were looking at. On leaving he said he would never look at art the same way...I should say he was just 20 at the time, a young Balinese man learnt how special his homeland truely was that day...a perfect day
I adore Honfleur truly a gorgeous town. So much history and the most gorgeous houses. We try to visit every year and stay in Trouville-Sur-Mer we adore the stunning mansions built right to the edge of the sand on the stunning beach. Built in the 1800's for the wealthy Parisians who kept them as holiday homes. The amazing seafood market where you can watch the fishing trawlers come right to the docks behind the market. You can then buy fresh seafood and eat it on the spot. Then you can just walk across the bridge to Vieux Deauville a stunning small seaside town with an American film festival, horse races and the most stunning boardwalk and beach boxes. A very famous half timbered hotel and eye popping elegant belle epoque villas. All a very long way from Australia.
I absolutely loved the tour of the town of Honfleur. I pulled up Google Maps with extreme close up and followed along. Such fun!! Also, thank you Stephanie, for introducing me to Paul Vera. His art work is amazing.
Very pretty Chateau, it is interesting to see how they have used the historic chateau as a backdrop to their modern aesthetic. I do appreciate all their hard work and love of their chateau. I am happy they at least kept some of the original details. I guess everyone doesn't have a Selmar and an Ian to truly restore a chateau.
Allway lovely meeting new people and exploring new places. Loved the wooden church. Thank you take us 😁 Maria beautiful flowers .. take care and stay safe
I so enjoyed this visit to Honfleur....I’ve had a brief visit there some years ago and it has always stayed in my memories. The rainy weather created a different impression, of course but the Chateau visit was so warm and inviting. The lovely owner were so joyful and welcoming and Mari’s flowers brought such wonderful colorful life and living beauty to each room that they adorned.
Seeing this charming town means so much to me because one of my dearest musical mentors (who passed away a few year ago at the age of 86) called it home before she moved back here to Rhode Island, USA. Seeing it now, I can see why she recalled her time there with such fondness. Thank you for taking me on a trip in a time when we can’t physically travel.
Bonjour to you all. Stephanie, this was a lovely tour of Honfleur which I visited 17 years ago. Since I live in Québec city, Canada, I was pleased to see the segment about Samuel de Champlain. Anna and Phillipp have a really wonderful château, the decoration is so elegant, Marie did a great job in creating gorgeous bouquets for the mantel. Until next time to complete our visit, stay safe and in good health.
Lovely video, made me feel all warm and fuzzy☺️The nativity in St Catherine’s was so beautiful, full of character. The whole town looks very quaint and interesting, would be great to see it in the French sunshine!
Just love Honfleur, beautiful place. Have spent quite a few visits to Normandy. I did the Normandy beaches some years ago. My father recalled the streets of Arromanches were covered in chewing gum from all the American soldiers. My uncle is buried in Bayeaux. I went to all the places my dad had mentioned from his time during the war. Love the area.
I enjoyed this video so very much! The churches and the paintings. Everything! The shop you went into with the animals. Thank you! 💖 When I went to Europe, we tried to see things like these. The Louvre I didn't want to leave! Marie always does a fantastic job! You all make me so happy. Your videos bring so much joy to so many people. You are a true blessing. I can't say thank you enough for all you do. 💖
What a beautiful place Honfleur is! The craftsmanship in making the wooden church is simply incredible and the crèche was so beautiful! Philip is such a gentleman buying Stephanie those lovely warm, matching gloves! But what horrible weather! Marie’s flowers were stunning as is Anna and Philipe’s Chateaux! Glad you had such a lovely break!
I have been to Paris. Thanks for the trip driving through picturesque towns to the chateau in Honfleur with minimal decor, unlike La lande; the port, the antique stores, the churches with nativity scenes unlike any I've seen before and lastly the bust of Samuel De Champlain and the history lesson. I live in NY and in 1972 first visited Quebec, La belle Province of Canada. It is the most European of any city in North America; I visited often as my Dad and step-mother lived and are laid to rest in Montreal, Quebec. Your channel is on another level, compared to other chateau. The art, culture and history lessons are excellent and much appreciated.
I note that Marie kept her coat on before and during breakfast and whilst doing her flowers. In a previous vlog Anna said the rooms were cold and they didn't hear the rooms unless they had paying guests. Anna and her family have rooms up in attic where they mainly live and Philip installed heating up there.
Sandra Westley well the wood burner was working in the fire place but these chateaus are cold the rooms are so hung it’s very difficult to heat the. To normal houses, that’s why they have a season as in the summer, when the weather is warmer.
This was a nice treat. Stephanie, your history lessons keep me coming back. Phillip, you are a true gentleman. Mattie, your creations and connection with nature are a gift. Your hosts have done an amazing job with their Chateau.
Wow Stephanie I kept thinking it looked very cold and wet on your tour of the town but then I thought that it probably wasn't too bad because you and Phillip just kept filming. Once you said you were freezing I started to shiver and I am indoors lol. Thank you both for braving the cold wet weather just to bring this vlog to us. I appreciate it. Can I ask what Marie was spraying on the flowers and why? I am asking because I always have cut flower's in my home and if this is beneficial I would like to do it as well. Thanks
I love the churches and nativity set ups with so many natural elements. Philip, you are such a gentleman buying the bright yellow gloves to match Stephanie's fuzzy scarf. How fun it is to go along on your adventures.
Dear Stephanie! You are an amazing and enthusiasts storyteller. Always having an unexpected and interesting perspective to report. Just like the inner playful child shines trough with humor always makes me laugh with you. Thank you very much! Big hugs and lot of❤️
I have. Watched every single vlog from Stephanie,as everyone says you are truly an amazing person and all your friends ,they bring a sparkle into our ‘lock down ‘lives . I would love to see Micheal P again ,he is greatly missed ,wishing him all the best for this year as he continues to display his creative talents.
Oh I thoroughly enjoyed that on a rain soaked summer day here in Australia as I’m curled up in my chair watching with my puppy beside me, Choc chip banana cake in oven and I’ve just made peach jam. Feels more like winter today but I’m thoroughly enjoying it.
(Moira Ashton) That was all so interesting, I loved it, I have subscribed to Anna Philips vlogs,,Their Chateau is beautiful, such a lovely couple and their two little girls are so cute.. 🥰😍💗💓💓

I love the charming town, the church and the paintings.
What an excellent job of presentation you did for us!
My favourite kind of content! Thank you, Stephanie!
Moi à Québec : OMG STEPHANIE JUST SPOKE TO ME! 😍
Stéphanie, your art vlogs are always so interesting
I could listen to Phillip play the piano all day!❤️🎼
Loved your visit to Honnegluer despite the freezing rain. Love the chateau!
Stephanie and Philip I love how you just soldier on even in the rain and cold and enjoy the sights! Love the flowers that Marie has designed!
If Stephanie had been my history teacher in school I would have probably passed my grades!
Thanks
one of my favorite visits
I love the churches and nativity set ups with so many natural elements. Philip, you are such a gentleman buying the bright yellow gloves to match Stephanie's fuzzy scarf. How fun it is to go along on your adventures.

You left me wanting more! Your knowledge and presentation of history is always so interesting, Stephanie!
Oh I thoroughly enjoyed that on a rain soaked summer day here in Australia as I’m curled up in my chair watching with my puppy beside me, Choc chip banana cake in oven and I’ve just made peach jam. Feels more like winter today but I’m thoroughly enjoying it.
So beautiful and I am glad you and Philipp were able to record such wonderful architect and scenery. Viewer from Athens, Tennessee (East Tennessee).
