Same. I didn't know she suffered from bipolar disorder and PTSD until after she died. So tragic. I wish she could have received the mental health treatment she needed to prevent this from happening. RIP Naomi. When you were in the right frame of mind, you put a lot of love and beauty into the world, and you will be missed.

Please give your love and support to Wynona while not giving her support. Hard to explain. She might be feeling the same who, what, when, where and why? @@troyalcorn1184 Not just Wynona... Also Ashley... Naomi's other daughter, the actress. From what I heard, it was Ashley that discovered the body... Was also Ashley that gave the world the bad news... I can testify how hard that is to tell just one person... I had to tell my brother that we lost our oldest brother to a heart attack in 2009. Not easy, but nothing compared to having to tell the whole world... I am sure being famous helped with the communication part, but would do nothing for the pain, except for all the well wishers...
This song was their farewell swan song for their professional partnership... They were THE country duo of the '80s, winning every award a country act could win... Once they left the scene, with Wynona going solo, and Naomi retiring for health reasons, Brooks & Dunn took the mantle of country's top duo. After going solo, Wynona did a duet with Clint Black, "A Bad Goodbye"
I remember when this video premiered. Believe it or not, it was in 3D. That's why it's so crisp and has such wonderful camera angles. Anyone else remember Wynonna being on "Touched by an Angel"? That song she sang on there.... "Testify to Love" (psalm 151) was amazing too.... brings a tear every time.

The Judds were amazing. It broke my heart when I heard about Naomi’s passing. I grew up on their music. Please keep digging into their catalog. You won’t be disappointed.
Ms. Naomi Judd wrote this song for her friends/fans when she learned of her dx and the announcement of her retirement from music. She never expected the success that it got. It was a love song and a thank you to the public.
So many great songs they have, both as a duo and Wynonna solo. One I think y’all might love is GRANDPA, it’s one of their early hits. Also, Wynonna’s duet of THE ROSE with Bette Midler.
Growing up in the 80's listening to country music I had the pleasure of hearing so much fantastic music. The Judd's have always been a favorite. Rockin was the rhythm of the rain I think is my favorite.
I've been waiting for you guys to do this song. The Judds are the voices of angels and the messsge in this song never fails to make be smile and cry at the same time.
I'm not crying 😭😭😭😭 you are!!! The power that Wynonna has in her voice paired with her Mom, Naomi's is breathtaking!! This is a deep rabbit hole, The Judd's together and Wynonna solo!!!❤️❤️❤️
I know you guys do read the comment section sometimes. Just to give you some background, Naomi suffered for a long time with debilitating depression that she could not overcome in the end. She took her life with a gun this past year in her home. Her daughter Ashley lived close, walking distance, and was the one that found her. Very, very sad, and also another reminder to check in on those you love to see how they are doing. Love can build a bridge! 🫶❤️
You two being reacters and let us into your lives, has done more to unite and build a bridge than our politicians. Keep doing what you all do, it may seem simple to just react to music and movies but it really is having a profound effect. Happy late New Year and much love and respect for you two and your family. 🎉🎉🎉
I love this, I agree. UA-cam creators can bring people together if they try to spread more love and unity instead of reacting, and agreeing with videos they know will piss people off...they have a opportunity to bring people together and entertain us in the best way leaving all politics aside and just reacting to good music and movies and spreading all the love and unity. I totally agree this couple is such a beautiful couple, they have such big hearts and are so endearing. Extraordinary people.
Not many mother-daughter duos in music history, but The Judds are the template. RIP to mom Naomi Judd, who passed in April of last year. I don't know enough about them to say what their biggest songs are (apart from this one and "Grandpa"), but I know "Mama He's Crazy" and "Change of Heart" were huge. And if you're taking suggestions for your next western, may I suggest "Silverado"? It's got an all-star cast, including Kevin Costner, Kevin Kline, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Glenn, Rosanna Arquette, Brian Dennehy, and Danny Glover.
I love Silverado ! What an awesome cast. I thought of it as soon as Jay mentioned a western, and I'm so glad someone else did too. Though it wasn't his first movie, it was Kevin Costner breakout film role, and his career took off from there. Lots of great movies ever since.
I’m so glad you reacted to this song. The message is an anthem the world needs to listen every day. Imagine how many problems we could solve. Appreciate you both and love your reactions.
Wynnona is the one who always sang lead and has had a great solo career. Wynnona's voice is just otherworldly. You never hear her mom Naomi sing solo, she just does soft harmonies. She doesn't have nearly the voice Wynnona does, but they sound good together. She wrote a lot of their songs, including this one.
They've been great since day one I got all the vinyl records all the way through the 90s I believe. Back then I just couldn't get enough of Winona and Naomi. First record album I bought we can figure out which one was the mother which one was the daughter. Nothing was several years later finally figured out there was a second daughter that was a movie star or something out in Hollywood. Number one, Mama he's crazy.
Wynonna has a great duet with a male country singer named Clint Black, too. It's called "A Bad Goodbye". It's such a great song. * If you're looking for a Western movie to react too, I'd highly recommend "Young Guns". You'd really like it! 🤠🐎
This song by The Judds wasn't released here in the UK. But in 1995, Cher, Chrissie Hynde & Neneh Cherry with Eric Clapton released it as a charity single and it got to Number 1 :)
The actress Ashley Judd is Naomi's other daughter. An amazing duo, beyond award-winning! It broke my heart when I hear that Naomi lost her battle with depression one day before they were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Much love Amber and Jay! Thank you for adding love and happiness into the world every day. ❤❤❤❤❤😊
One of my most favorite songs. I was so happy when they performed it together, getting ready for their comeback tour, then heartbroken to find out that Naomi had taken her life. They’ve always been one of my favorites. 💜
My sister and I sang this song together one time at a local show.. our Dad recorded it.. they have both passed away now and I've never seen that recording again... I so wish I had it.. I could have never did it on my own... my sister was the strong voice.. I was just harmony... but that's what great harmonies are to me... I hear so many family harmonies... I guess we just get each other... think of all the great ones... with harmony... it's all family. I lost my sister in 2015.. my only sibling... my older sibling.. I've been trying my best ever since to fill the whole that my mother has from losing her.. I can't .. but this song brings back a good memory to me... thank you.
Such lovely strong voices. Our son married a lady who was a scion of the Judd family. Tragic ending for her as well. So sad. Such a great duo here though. Actually getting a little emotional here. Strong strong song. Brujos? Nice ending. Thanks.
They were one of my top favorite groups back in the day. It’s been along time since I’ve heard this song and I still love it just as much as when I first heard it.
This is SUCH a beautiful song with a powerful message. I haven't listened to this in far too long myself. Thank you so much for reacting to this. This song touches my heart.

One of the things I love most in watching your reactions is the fact that I know the song I know when certain lines verses musical notes are going to change anticipating that change knowing how it affects me then watching you react when it happens. Like Wynonna hitting those beautiful extended high notes towards the end. I still after all these years get emotional and seeing the two of you react the way you did is so worth drying the tears from my eyes as you dry yours. You get it and as you say the power of love ( that's also a Huey Lewis and the news song) and music can affect change. RIP NAOMI YOU ARE TRULY MISSED.
Back in the mid-90s at the University of Kentucky, Ashley Judd was a fellow student. I was studying Russian, and she was studying French, but our professors had offices beside each other. She was the non-famous Judd in those days, but she still got a ton of attention walking around Patterson Office Tower where the language arts classes were because of her mother and sister. It seems weird how she became just as famous as her family or more later on.
Thank you for this, my all time favorite Judds song. In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful songs ever, both musically and lyrically with such a strong message. The backing choir is the cherry on top as it just gives the chorus that “take me to church” feel. Thanks again for doing it. Now if you could see fit, if you haven’t already, please react to my second favorite Judds tune, Grandpa (Tell Me ‘Bout The Good Old Days) - very nostalgic.
RIP Sweet Naomi.

You reacted to Grandpa by The Judds. I loved that reaction and this one too! I love their music so much. So pure and loving. RIP Naomi

Thank you so much for reviewing this song. I love the live version, but I’ll take what you give! 🥰
I love the Judd's. That's my favorite song by them for sure. Wynona''s voice is so full and powerful.

Thanks to both of you for reacting to this song. Those song is needed now more than ever in thus Country and World
Ms. Judd always said, there is always hope.
I legit teared up listening to this. One of my favorite groups of all time.
Ashley Judd (sister/daughter) is an amazing actor. Id recommended watching 'Double Jeopardy' with her. 👏👍👍 such a talented family ❤️
