If you watch the review at the end I say it’s the best football game there is, but I also say it’s not worth upgrading if you own a fifa in the last 4 years. I’d say most folks feel the same. And the lower score is for the scummy pay to win practices in ultimate team with loot boxes.

Their own deep dive gameplay video was 4 minutes long on the reveal… that tells you all you need to know on how many changes they are making every year.

I enjoyed Volta, loads of stadiums with different size goal options, beach football and etc. they replace it with a new mode with ONE stadium. How is that upgrading/moving forwards
It’s a real shame because I think they are onto something with Rush. One of the most enjoyable features for me personally this year, but as you say very stripped back.
Well, guess im the lucky few that actually enjoy this game. People wanted the game to "slow" down to match realism, but now they say its too slow lol. i been playing FIFA since '08, had every copy of FIFA since, this is the most ive had fun.
I honestly love when people share a counter view like this. Always important to have balance so appreciate you sharing mate. Regarding speed, it’s a funny old game. It will forever swing back and forth to appease players. My biggest bug bear is the speed of crosses so far (or lack of). Thanks again!
Player career mode doesn't event have the walkouts they fucking lied, I only olay player career and manager career modes, don't give a fuck about the multiplayer modes, but rush is indeed a lot of fun the first fun in online fifa sense probably ps3 days
first fifa i liked in ages. hard to complain about the gameplay when you can literally change it to ur liking . offline at least. simulation mode pretty gd . i tweaked sum sliders . n used dynamic ai behavior . really makes it much more unpredictable n fun in manager mode
They have over powered the elite teams so much that they may as well only put Champions League teams in the game. Play as anyone else against Real Madrid and you're almost certainly going to lose.
I also havent bought fifa for about... 15 years i think. Paying full price for the same game year on year is why you can reliably say the human race is comprised of 99.9% idiots is accurate. 😄 Even more so with football manager. All youre paying for is an updated database which doesnt cost them that much. Maximum lazy for maximum profit. If FM has actually updated its match graphics with unity this year i might actually consider it.
Seen guys already saying they regretted getting the game after day 1 lol. I warned people that this would happen when they were releasing the trailers but they didn’t wanna listen. Happens every single year but people are always hooked to a new game like it’s a shiny toy. Problem is, the game rarely changes but minor stuff that everyone’s sick and tired of in a week. Around October, there’s always complaint videos and I bet they’ll be stacked this year. It’s just going to be another year of rage and risk of health problems (that’s if you can control your anger and many people can’t as the game is broken and you will lose it at some point) Glad I didn’t succumb to getting this garbage especially after the shambles that was fc24😂.

I hate reading review after review online where the reviewer complains about the practice, explains how bad it is and then slaps an 8/10 score. It's not about revolutionising the game. It's about giving a damn, and EA doesn't. There's 0 soul in these games anymore. No attention to detail. The gameplay has been broken for years. Players skating about. Bad AI. Too many animations. Scripting/momentum. Laggy servers. Unresponsiveness. Add to that the fact it's a gambling simulator for kids at this point. They only care about FUT and making money on packs.
Sometimes I hate the AI Defense in EAFC/FIFA.. They look dumb.. It's like they just allow the attackers to get past them. In efootball, it's little hard to get past through the defenses.. All players, MF, Attackers, they fall back to defend. And also in efootball, our passes often gets cut off, cause the defending players are so mobile and alert. Of course this depends on the difficulty level also but in general, defense is little weak in EAFC Or maybe dribbling is too OP
Pes fundamentally changed their gameplay and how it looks every year when it was out... Ea has zero innovation because it makes money, why change something when millions of morons buy the same game every year... At its core it's a rubbish football game
Effootball is the supreme football physics engine it feels like you control the player with the ball not controlling the ball it's a dumb engine for casual football masses.
I wasn’t going to buy it this year. I have skipped a few before as I thought PES was better. Played it via EA Play and was actually surprised that how they managed to get rid of that horrible arcade style that has ruined the game for me. The players physically also feel different. The game isn’t perfect but I am actually tempted now.
Nothing substantial my friend. Nothing to justify the price. Tell your wife that you feel it’s best to put the money to buying her an outfit and become a hero instead.
This game has same mechanics that of eafc 24 Spamming Lob passes Kick off glitch Cut backs Side switching Corner glitch is still there Right stick switching is so much random , the game selects wrong players even if you do the right command , And i can keep going Fc 25 is even worse than eafc 24 in terms of connection
Mate, I kid you not, I always select in ultimate team “opponents default kit” where you don’t get to see the colour up front of course. I’m amazed though after all these years they haven’t worked a simple line of coding where two of the same colour can’t be shown. I had multiple games like this too.

Last 2 years I have game shared on PlayStation cause I am not spending money on this, although 24 was on offer for 15 quid at one point so I just snapped it up. I think I’ll probably buy this, but looking more forward to FM25

Player running with the ball is awful! You can hardly do any dribble and go past players smoothly without using skill based dribbles! Direction changes looks either jerky/disjointed or looks like players are skating on ice. That alone is a big bummer for me and I totally hate it. But some really good positives too if you play for an extended time - AI makes mistakes, AI mistimes tackles and lunges and gets red card, they make misplaced passes Rebounds can be random and can fall to any player (whereas in any FIFA till EAFC24 any rebounds or deflections would magically fall only to AI. Same is the case with clearances too. Even last minute clearance by AI will be a perfect pass to their own player,.

Its definitely not thr best football game out there. Like have u been playing fifa undee a rock? Pes 21 with roster update beats this games gameplay in a second. So much fun still today. Gameplay in that game is superior in every way. Its just more fun.

EA now is too far away from “real” football. It is only trickers showtime which you rarely see it on the real life. No tactics more important than skill moves, and what I don’t get it - where on earth you see it is much easier bring the ball all by yourself than passing. Defender is having real issue to take the ball from trickster but they can stop the passing even 2 mtrs away from their body and they keep the ball. To be honest I have enjoy the game on early 2000s than now. is too much gimmick and only concentrate to have more microtransaction

go and watch a pro evo game from about 2004 here on youtube. It's amazing how much quicker them games were. Much better as well.
