This msg needs to reach EVERY church! I was in a church just last year that we eventually left , a family assigned to lead youth did not dress appropriately and when I brought it up to the pastor he said it's not in the Bible to dress a certain way . This worlds so lost
Yes, modesty is biblical! I have seen many believers attend services inappropriately dressed! We are called to be an example and not follow the world's dress code!!
ahh got a tongue lashing for wearing my sisters shorty shorts too church in - hastings City.- New zealand. ' - ''' The '''Brown's'' kicked me out off town hence typeing this in Auckland City .
Good guidelines for clothes shopping. Not to attract or distract. Aim to have the outer reflect the inner. Thank-you Pastor Vlad. Let the redeemed of the Lord, Dress so.
I wear jeans and t-shirts that aren't too loose or to tight. That's pretty much what I've worn most of my life. They're comfortable, they don't attract a lot of attention (I don't like to be in the spotlight) and They're easy to move around in. Simple, not complicated, and nothing is hanging out for the whole world to see.
What about if you try to wear a dress or a skirt to church, women’s clothes and to show honor and respect to God by dressing up to meet Him at church. It’s not a bad idea. Honor God with you Sunday best.
As a single woman, I cover my head for the biblical reasons that I am under the headship of Yeshua. when I pray (if I remember) or always in the synagogue or if I am talking to a man who is interested in me. I finally understood the significance of headship. In my normal day to day stuff I do not cover but I try to maintain keep long hair styles that are simple. I am agree with the Bible
@@irinabugai1022no, if you study on this, the Greek or Hebrew words used for hair as a covering vs cloth covering of hair, is 2 different words. I think we're supposed to do both
Wow, I was just talking to the Lord about this in the morning, and he's placed a desire in me to make modest dresses for myself and my daughters. My husband bought me a sewing machine last year and I haven't touched it. I gotta start! I'm excited. Thank you for sharing 🙏♥️
Verses 5 through 7, as well as verse 13, of 1 Corinthians 11 use a form of the Greek word for "veiled", κατακαλύπτω katakalupto; this is contrasted with the Greek word περιβόλαιον peribolaion, which is mentioned in verse 15 of the same chapter, in reference to "something cast around" as with the "hair of a woman … like a mantle cast around". These separate Greek words indicate that there are thus two headcoverings that Paul states are compulsory for Christian women to wear, a cloth veil and her natural hair.
Reasons for head covering So the very first reason for head coverings is because of the created order. This is the foundation that Paul said “But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God” (1 Cor 11:3). This is not a cultural argument, but a transcendent argument as the Fathers headship is eternal and unchanging. Because the ordinance of head covering is for certain times (verse 4-6), demonstrating a removable covering. (verse 6) It was to be worn during certain times (prayer and prophecy, or worship). This is not possible with hair. A man (men were instructed not to cover their heads) cannot remove his hair then put it back on when praying is done! “If a woman will not” demonstrates the covering was removable. Because a woman’s hair (length according to the individual) is for her glory. (verse 15) Part of the purpose of the head covering is to veil this glory, not showcase it. Individual glory is the LAST thing any should want in the Presence of God! Because this creates quite a quandary for women who cannot grow “long hair.” Think of Alopecia or some African women. Can they still pray and prophesy in certain settings? Regardless of hair length though, a covering can still be worn. Because of the way verse 6 would read if we substituted “hair” or “long hair:” “If a woman will not [have long hair], let her cut her hair short…” Huh? She would already have done that! The whole point of that verse is to show the shame of her not covering. Because it would be very odd if her symbol of authority in the presence of angels (v10) was one that gave her glory (v15), since the biblical testimony of angelic worship is not glory for angels, but angels showing humility and covering themselves. (Isa 6:1-3) Because the Church agreed with the simplicity and power of this teaching for 1950 years, from the time of Apostles (v16) through the mid-Twentieth Century (1950-60s). We only began to disobey these precepts on a large scale when feminism hit the West like a tidal wave.
I absolutely love wearing modest clothes. Before I came to Christ I was definitely not a modest woman but once He started to renew my mind, I got VERY uncomfortable showing my skin! Now I keep from wearing shorts that are too short (they must sit half way down my thigh at least), and I do not like showing my shoulders at all. I like long flowing dresses and skirts and I will wear slacks and leggings too, but my rule is I have to wear something that covers my bum and nether region lol. So long shirts, sweaters, long shawls etc. I feel more secure and actually think my new style is more beautiful than my last. There is nothing wrong with covering up and being modest😊
The word "modesty" is derived from the Latin word "modestus", which means "within measure". The root of "modestus" is "modus", which means "measure" or "manner". What I think this means is you're allowed to dress in the customary manner for a particular situation in your society. Some people think "modest" means "conservative", but if you study the root origins of the word, it doesn't actually mean that. So you can wear normal clothes for your surroundings, you don't need to dress prudishly.
@@tomcollins5112 I agree with your statement, to an extent. I can say for me, one of the main reasons I dress modestly is because I do not like being the reason a man sins in his heart (Matthew 5:28). I don’t believe my style is prudish, but I would rather be seen as such then to be something to lust over. Just my personal opinion.
@EdificationElena amen sister. I struggle with wanting to keep my husband attracted to me and dressing modestly. I do dress modestly to societies standards, but I think i could do more.
I’ve been divorced for one year now large in part to infidelity in the relationship. Even now walking into the gym solo I have to overlook a lot. There is nothing left to the imagination anymore, at all! A few months ago when it was still warm, young ladies enter at 9am Sunday service wearing crop tops and skin tight skinny’s. They look amazing and I understand God created our beautiful form but as we know the enemy perverts all of Gods creation. I leaned over to my mom and I was like, “really, in church ??” And she corrected me, and she’s like heyyy anyone is welcome here. I stand corrected and I get it. But I just wish some of these young ladies had a little respect for the fact that marriages are being battled a lot in this day and age with everything that’s on the internet …. They don’t really need to add to it by getting inside of the mind of men at church, in my opinion. Nothing left to the imagination ANYWhere anymore, no place is safe, I feel.
I agree with you! I don’t understand how can you have holy spirit and talk about God but your wearing leather leggings that are showing more then being naked 🤦🏼♀️ I don’t understand why so many Christian Slavic women wear these leggings that show everything and what you don’t want to see ?????? I understand it’s comfortable but still in front of other people not ok in your house with your husband sure but otherwise don’t wear tight ripping shiny leather leggings and crop top not ok
Your heart is in the right place, I see it all the time here in the UK, church, gym, outside. These people are of the world and so they have no knowledge or wisdom of God.
I think everywhere you go you should dress modest. Your body is the temple of God and should respected. Some say God only looks at are hearts but we live in the world and the bible says we should be an example to others. It also says don't imitate the world that we should be different.
I never had this issue as a problem. It went with my personality....I like modesty...always...so when I became a Christian my way of dressing was the same....I always thought like old times was more elegant and classy...
The correlation you made between precious materials and mining and modesty in clothing was so spot on ... definitely have to remember that one 🙌 and very true
I'm a 4th generation pentecostal. I was always taught to be separate from the world. There are scriptures in the bible that gives us guidelines on what we should do and wear. Wearing clothes that distinguish what your sex is separates u as a woman or a man. Woman's hair is our glory. It is our power. Alot of people say its not important but it is to God.Through searching and praying God revealed to me it is important to him. God says that we should be holy for he is holy. What does that mean to someone. How do we show our separation to the world. To show that we are different from everyone else.. The baptism in Jesus name makes us new creatures in christ. Then the holyghost is the evidence of his love that will live inside of us. The reason for all the standards that people state aren't really important, they are to God. It may not be mandatory to make it into heaven. But it pleases him. Why wouldn't someone want to please the one they love?
I completely agree. I was raised Lutheran and “believed ,” my whole life but didn’t live it. Once I ACTUALLY got saved I put aside denominations as best as I could and have let Holh Spirit lead me.. I often head cover and I LOVE wearing skirts and dresses as a woman so much so that for a time being I actually threw away ALL of my pants. I have some again now etc but they’re not skin tight and I make sure most of my shirts cover my lady bits or are very clearly feminine. Sometimes I still wear t shirts and stuff but clearly I look like a woman. I try not to dress so Grungy everyday anymore as I’m taking more “pride,” if that makes sense (not trying to be prideful,) in dressing like the daughter of a king. I want to spread positive feminine energy in a society that needs examples of it desperately and an example for my daughters and younger women to look to etc
But do you drive a car? Also, God doesn't care about 4th or 5th generation denominations just like He didn't care for the Pharisees or Sadduces who were from the priesthood of Aaron. We don't become a new creation when we are baptized, we become a new creation when we make a covenant with God to obey His word. Baptism is a symbolism of that. Many people are baptized and aren't obeying the word of God.
@neonicpixles That’s literally my story. When I really began to study scripture, not just listen to sermons or catch a verse of the day here and there, everything came into context, and I no longer connected with any denomination. It’s completely changed who I am. As my understanding grew, my life changed, and I look different as a result. I too wear dresses almost all the time now, rather than shredded jeans and tight tops, and I wear beautiful but modest head coverings for gatherings with other believers. People say I’m not required to do these things, and I agree. But I take joy in doing what I feel the Lord has led me to do. Now, when well meaning Christians try to correct me (usually in a frustrated tone), saying things like, “We’re not required to observe the Sabbath,” I say, “Well then you’re free not to, but you’re not stealing my blessing!” Lol! I love following Yeshua in whatever ways He leads me. It’s not a burden. It’s peace.
The biggest takeaway for me in is to dress and conduct ourselves in such a way that Jesus remains the focus. To come with an attitude that my light is not my spotlight, but that which is used to highlight the King of kings.
Pastor Vlad, your approach sounds so reasonable ----- a good balance ---- not leaning too heavily one way or the other. Thank you for putting guidelines out there for those who are walking the walk w/Jesus! Bless you
You were quoteable in so many places, pastor. I also appreciated the stance your church has taken towards outward appearance. Training your stage musicians and singers to look people in the eye is also a winner. Bravo!
That is something that needs to be addressed in the church today. People of God should be modest and should not draw attention to themselves. We cannot be like the people in the world.
This was so well explained and I concur to everything this Pastor has said, he has given a well balanced view of how a woman or a man should dress what modesty is and isn’t and what the covering actually really means both physical and spiritual this is a very needed discussion in the church today because sadly a lot of Christian women dress in the way that you cannot tell the difference between them and women who are not saved
I agree with what you said and that it was supported by scripture. We should not be a billboard for the world, we should be a billboard for God. Elevate Him, revere Him, worship Him. He deserves all the glory, honor, and praise. Thank you for your message.
I agree with what you have shared here . So many women don't know that they look like the world in what they wear at church .They are literally causing men to stumble in their walk with the Lord by their dress: specifically, tight , short dresses with super high heels and low necklines are totally inappropriate or modest for church . . I wish more Pastors took the time to break things like this down to their congregations . It might help cut down on lust, fornication , adultery and divorce. I do think that jeans on a Sunday morning are acceptable for praise teams as most of the congregations in churches across America wear jeans. I just think that the women on praise teams need to wear longer tops that are more modest and that both don't wear ripped jeans or too tight jeans or cropped tops or shorts.
Women aren't causing men to stumble. Men's disgusting lust and mindset is what causing their own downfall. Stop painting women badly while men should control thier lust.🤦♀️
@@lawonyinye7056Actually the Bible says, “if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off”. Yes lust is wrong, but if you dress a certain way in the church, you will cause others to stumble, because you are exposing those areas of your body in areas such as the church when they don’t need to be. So just dress modestly.

Dont worry, you're good. Im a man and I have box braids so that isnt a problem. Remember, Jesus himself had long hair, so its NOT a sin to have long hair or braided hair.
@@thechosenone2123 #1 Jesus didn't have long hair. #2. The word broidered or broided is not the same as braided. look up the word broidered in the Bible. The Bible has it's own built in dictionary.
He is!! There’s nothing wrong with braids which have been used in every culture. The biblical reference was no doubt in reaction to extreme braiding styles meant to show off.
@@clellaadams Jesus absolutely had long hair. Additionally, he also had a full beard since 99.9% of men during that time kept facial hair on their face. In fact, it was very common for men during those times to have longer hair than now. I think you’re fine! I believe the point of Paul’s message was in regards to when women would do elaborate styles with woven ribbons and sometimes precious metals in their hair. I think his overarching point was not to put all of your time, attention, money on something that only draws focus to you. Nothing wrong with you having your hair in a style healthy for you, that is beautiful and is something you like. It’s when you waste extra money, have flashy colors/gems or metals, when you focus on making yourself the center of your world. And I don’t think that’s what your doing! Always pray and seek the Holy Spirits guidance, but I truly believe you are okay!

I really like the analogy of the precious pearls, diamonds and gold as compared to a person displaying their valuables so that anyone may feel free to "mine" them.
Loved every single second!! The Lord guided me regarding this very topic and now I watch myself and my clothing choices very carefully, I make sure to always hide bra straps and make sure to not choose tank tops for public etc 🙏 knowing that I must be modest in what I reveal to others. I dress for Jesus now
Some have taken issue with the fact that the Greek word used for covering in verse 15 (περιβόλαιον - peribolaion) is a different word than the form of the word used for veiling/covering in verses 5-7 and 13 (κατακαλύπτω - katakalupto), the latter of which means "to cover wholly" or "to veil". Moderator of the General Assembly of the Free Church of Scotland, John W. Keddie, contended that if simply any hair were the covering Paul was talking about, then verse 6 would read "For if the women have no hair on her head, let her also be shorn", rendering the passage to be nonsensical.
Our reconstructed knowledge of first-century Corinth has led us to supply Paul with a rationale that is foreign to the one he gives himself. In a word, we are not only putting words in to the Apostle’s mouth, but we are ignoring the words that are there.” As Dr. Sproul frequently noted, Paul’s instruction in 1 Corinthians 11:2-12 grounds head coverings for wives in worship in the order of creation. Man was created first, which puts him in a position of authority over his wife; therefore, his wife should cover her head in corporate worship as a sign of her submission. Whatever role other cultural factors may play, grounding head coverings in the creation order suggests that the practice should be followed in every generation. It is something that reflects the world as it was created and how it should be.
Good teaching brother! We’re not to draw attention to ourselves!! All of the attention should be towards the Lord, not us! I do not like men (or women or children!) wearing shorts in church! Cover your body up, not show it off! Just a matter of modesty and respect!
God bless you Pastor Vlad for touching on this subject. I grew up in a cultural environment with modest dressing as well. A woman Pastor told a member of the church when asked about modest dressing, that she could not say much on the topic because she knew that people talked about the way she and her children dress but that God knows her heart. It's very sad the way many churches are compromising to keep members in their church.
Very very well said. God bless you pastor. Most pastors in the world will not bring up this topics bc they don’t want to offend people. It’s all about love & not losing members…$$$. Roman 12:2…Don’t follow the pattern of the world. Whether you wear old or new clothes just cover up reasonably. What is born again Christian means? (John 3:3-8). True believer will automatically change life style and the way we dress is part of this, too, Ty for this truth and bringing what the Bible says. So why do people dress properly when they attend the weddings, interviews, special events, meeting an important people, etc…yet we take so much Advantage of our Holy God. Start living it out as a true born again Christian! ❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wow , wow , wow thank you so much , for explaining this as a young pastor that is lead in a church this has been a big question and problem in the church
Another important point is for modesty to be taken every we go (grocery store, gym, school, work, home, amusement parks etc). @13:32 Keep in mind that the Whole Bible agrees, there is no such thing as Moses’ Law or Yahusha’s (jesus) Law. There is only One Law which is the Law of Elohim and both Moses and Yahusha taught that same Law. (Matthew 5:17)
Many pastors and leaders of "Super Churches" organisations with huge business models bureaucracies and secular goals need to be included in this thought exercise. It is time
Amen to all of this! 🙌🏼 Modestly is beautiful. Your wife is a great example of that. Classy and modest 💕 External appearance is often, if not always a good reflection of what’s on the inside.
Perfectly said… thank you so so much. Paul’s Washer and his wife says that if your clothing is a frame for your face then God is pleased with it but if it is a frame for your body then God hates it…. I think it’s so true and sums up what modesty should look like. Revealing less skin and less tightness in certain areas should be the goal. Honouring God alone should be our focus. I’ve been to churches where I had to speak to elders to address this issue and in one church all they said is well they have spoken to the husbands and it’s their job and if they don’t do anything about it then they can’t either… shocking! so what kind of godly husband would allow his wife to look like she is wearing her ‘jewels’ for all to see? It still does my head in…. When a woman gets dressed it’s so important to ask the Holy Spirit’s help - might sound stupid to some but that’s what I do. If I’m unsure about a dress or so I don’t wear it… my husband is also part of the process when needed… It’s vital for me not to be a stumbling block for anyone… It’s about being holy and presentable and acceptable to God - a holy sacrifice to Him. You come to church for Him NOT for yourself. When a wife is out of line the husband needs to say something about it and and help his wife…. And tbh that doesn’t just go for church modesty but outside of church as well including swim wear…. God bless and thanks again for this refresher. 🙏🏻😊
Mrs. Washer's definition is a step in the right direction, because it at least gives us something concrete and universal rather than "it's up to each person." But why stop there? A person can be totally covered with a loose, plain garment, and still draw attention to themselves through their hair, their face, the colors of their clothing, etc. I'm not sure where Vlad gets the idea that we can dress fashionably outside of church. Fashion is a form of self-worship, and Biblically speaking, we shouldn't act any differently out of the church than we do in church. I think Mrs. Washer's standard could be improved by saying, "If your clothing is a frame for your body *or* your face, then God hates it. If your clothing puts the attention away from any part of you and onto God, then He accepts it."
Be the change you want to see in the world, I always keep myself covered up properly to this, and it has always benefited me professionally and spiritually.
Thank you, Pastor Vlad this brings a lot of clarity to the subject. What I have noticed recently is that certain pastors are dressing like rock stars with tight clothing bold colors. I feel that it's affecting their message,
As a Christian , I have found that the law according to which we should not cross dress is followed and preceded by many more laws which we don’t obey today. I dress in dresses and skirts only , leggings under dress or skirts. But I find it difficult to quote to someone not to cross dress because of that verse. I believe we have the Holy Spirit in us and thus the laws of the Lord are written in our hearts. You don’t have to teach modesty to someone whose heart is filled with the love of God, it comes naturally. Not as a law but as a new nature
We cannot trust our flesh, as we often confuse it with the voice of God. We have scripture to guide and teach us. Modesty doesn't come naturally either, it is taught, if we trust our flesh for modesty then we'll end up adopting whatever attire the culture promotes. We have to call out and denounce immodesty, while also commending modesty. Remember, as people of faith, we are not called to dress like the world, but to dress apart from it, professing how us Christians should dress.
Yes to many we have to teach , the issue is because they are not filled with the Holy Spirit. You can’t be filled with the Holy Spirit and follow the world, you would hate the world and all it’s customs as God does. That’s my point. Where I come from modesty is like the foundation of everything yet there are always new issues to be addressed about this. Simply because their hearts are not regenerated in Christ. When someone starts dressing like the world it just portrays how the inside is. The world has replaced God in the heart so it manifests outwardly . The remedy is not teaching how to dress , is showing them the road to Christ. Who will transform their hearts❤️
Thank you Pastor Vlad. You are humble and speaking the truth. Biblical modesty has importance. We are supposed to be putting our focus on the Lord and drawing attention to Jesus, not ourselves.
Thank you for sharing your video. We are Native Americans and our men and women have long hair. This is our culture. We love the Creator and allow Holy Spirit to draw the line when it comes to walking with Jesus Christ. We where are regalia's and our jewelry. It is not for shows, it is Who We Are. We enjoy dressing modest and Who We Are. Your teaching has been very interesting and enjoyable. 👍
Proverbs 6:25-26 This verse warns against the dangers of illicit sensuality and of lusting after the beauty of others. Sexual immorality is a perilous act that can lead to self-destruction and spiritual death. Believers should avoid such behavior and focus on God's plan for holy living.Galatians 5:19-21, the Bible reads, “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these.
I felt more beautiful and confident in fashionable modest than when I was in the world wearing crazy stuff for sexual attention but this process took about 2 yrs. Also love that thumbnail outfit!! *This applies to men and women, in outer and inner attire(your heart) * just to make the swim wear topic simple: don't wear your bra and undies or revealing swim suit due to modest and sun even my husband wear a swim top. There was a male pastor that wore real tight clothes like too tight and it emphasized his muscles, my female pastor wore sleevless tank on stage her tats was showing off these are examples of distractions ofcourse I work on myself to not focus on that but it is very hard and makes me uncomfortable again i try my best and pray to not look at that and pray they will be convicted out of love for my church family
I wonder why Paul gives multiple reasons for head covering that transcend cultural limitations? The best sermon I've heard on head covering is by Keith Malcomson at Limerick City Church, check it out.
As a Christian I like to wear black a lot. People say black represents death, evil, depression. Black is a simple color and easy to wear with other colored clothes. I like the color black. So it's okay right to wear black?
It depends on HOW you wear black. It's just not a good idea to wear black in such a way that you're giving off vampire vibes. If you're not wearing black in a manner that gives off creature-of-the-night vibes, then you should be fine.
There are not many rules in the Bible. If you ask different people, they’ll give you different opinions. God wants modesty. That has nothing to do with what color you wear. I hope we can all understand the Liberty that we have in Christ. Living for God is not a rule book we must keep. Blessings.

I’m the same. I have been a CA native baby boomer and dress very casual
Your hair is your head covering. Unless you’re bald you don’t have to wear a scarf. Obviously, you can wear it if you like or want.
Well said pastor. Indeed keep your body deeply covered.
This was a very simple explanation for me to understand. My head is usually uncovered. However, when I am about to pray I cover my head.
Reasons for head covering
So the very first reason for head coverings is because of the created order.
(Isa 6:1-3)
Because the Church agreed with the simplicity and power of this teaching for 1950 years, from the time of Apostles (v16) through the mid-Twentieth Century (1950-60s).
Thank you very much my sister for obeying the Lord
yes, I feel the same :) i don't feel comfortable with showing my skin anymore since I came to the Lord
I love your preaching Pastor Vlad. God bless you and your family. I thank our Saviour for bringing me to your channel. Hallelujah
I leaned over to my mom and I was like, “really, in church ??”
And she corrected me, and she’s like heyyy anyone is welcome here.
Nah u mom desensitised. They would not go to court like that
I agree with you!
1 Thessalonians 5v23&24
Our souls, spirits and bodies must please God
Our bodies is the temple of the Holy Spirit
I never had this issue as a problem. It went with my personality....I like modesty...always...so when I became a Christian my way of dressing was the same....I always thought like old times was more elegant and classy...
U explain the Bible and issues so clearly ! Thank you!
The correlation you made between precious materials and mining and modesty in clothing was so spot on ... definitely have to remember that one 🙌 and very true
As a Christian woman from the LDS Church I was always taught modesty and Chastity because our bodies are temples.
You are 100% right
If he doesn't care he wouldn't have made clothes for Adam and EvE when they sinned.
@neonicpixles
That’s literally my story.
Bravo!
Thank you pastor Vlad... Let the redeemed of the Lord dress so
Doesn't get any better than this. Perfect❤ Beautiful ❤
That is something that needs to be addressed in the church today. People of God should be modest and should not draw attention to themselves. We cannot be like the people in the world.
Yess so important
Amen
The guide to this is: If you cannot see yourself confident to stand before God in that garment, then don't wear it.
Vlad you are such a blessing! Thank you and your wife for your service
Thank you for clarifying this issue. Thank you, Father God, for using Vlad for your purpose.
Balanced teaching. Amen. Dressing reveals the heart. God bless you.
This was such a needed video, thanks Pastor for always sharing the undiluted word of truth
Love this. So balanced, logical, and scriptural!!
Let the redeemed of The Lord 'dress so'! I love that statement!
Thanks!
Thank you for giving
Causes men and women to stumble. Women do look at other women and vise versa
@ChristsWarrior777 prayers that it will be a Bible believing church that follows the appropriate dressing.
You are just lustful. If you eyes make you sin, cut it off. That's what your Bible says

As a black woman and as a Christian, I struggle with the hair braiding/braids part of the Bible. My hair will literally fall out if I do not braid it (unless it’s relaxed).
I mean I don’t get any crazy design. Just simple.
And I think (I hope) that God is ok with that 🙏🏽
Dont worry, you're good.
Incase you weren't aware, barbershops didn't exist 2000+ years ago, so obviously there were many men that grew their hair out. So don't try to correct me when I was never wrong in the first place and DONT speak on things that you know nothing about. You cant try to refute what I said unless you have a biblical passage to prove otherwise.........
Beautiful explanation.Truth shall prevail.Amen.👌❤️

Thank you pastor Vlad, God is always speaking through you❤
Some have taken issue with the fact that the Greek word used for covering in verse 15 (περιβόλαιον - peribolaion) is a different word than the form of the word used for veiling/covering in verses 5-7 and 13 (κατακαλύπτω - katakalupto), the latter of which means "to cover wholly" or "to veil". Moderator of the General Assembly of the Free Church of Scotland, John W. Keddie, contended that if simply any hair were the covering Paul was talking about, then verse 6 would read "For if the women have no hair on her head, let her also be shorn", rendering the passage to be nonsensical.
Awesome demonstration Pastor,totally agree.
This is an excellent point and very well put together, most Church members have really cast off self respect. God bless my brother
I agree with your medesty teaching. Pr. Ed
Great thoughts, thank you Pastor Vlad!

Timely message, thank you pastor
Modest for men n women. In and outside the church.
Thankyou for sharing. I and my family want to dress modestly in a way that will glorify God. We can do it through Christ who gives us strength. Amen.
Amen brother preach it! Thank you for this word.
Great teaching. Very important to keep these guidelines in mind. Thank you.
This is so succinct. Thank you Pastor Vlad🙌
Amen thank you pastor preach pastor 🙏😇✝️
The Lord has led me to start wearing a head covering and tone down the makeup and I am grateful
Thank you so much for this Pastor! This is very informative and gives clarity 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for highlighting this!
Many pastors and leaders of "Super Churches" organisations with huge business models bureaucracies and secular goals need to be included in this thought exercise. It is time
Thank you for sharing this message. It's been helpful and has given me so my clarity of what's acceptable for women in the church
If I’m unsure about a dress or so I don’t wear it… my husband is also part of the process when needed…
It’s vital for me not to be a stumbling block for anyone… It’s about being holy and presentable and acceptable to God - a holy sacrifice to Him. You come to church for Him NOT for yourself. When a wife is out of line the husband needs to say something about it and and help his wife…. And tbh that doesn’t just go for church modesty but outside of church as well including swim wear….
God bless and thanks again for this refresher. 🙏🏻😊
Very important
Thank you Pastor Vlad. God blessings and more boldness or courage for saying the truth.
I feel that it's affecting their message,
they should dress like ''Jesus Christ'' and not like Roman soilders who wore skirts for 1,000 years.''
Yes, and a lot of pastor wives are wearing that bold hair color that stands out a mile. Pink, purple, blue, green… like WHYYY????
As a Christian , I have found that the law according to which we should not cross dress is followed and preceded by many more laws which we don’t obey today.
I dress in dresses and skirts only , leggings under dress or skirts. But I find it difficult to quote to someone not to cross dress because of that verse.
I believe we have the Holy Spirit in us and thus the laws of the Lord are written in our hearts. You don’t have to teach modesty to someone whose heart is filled with the love of God, it comes naturally. Not as a law but as a new nature
Mmmmmm
Some people you do have to" teach the law of God "
So many( think) they are filled with the Holy Ghost, but yet have no evidence of such.
Speaking of balance brother/Pastor Vlad, that's why i come here for ministry !
How do I give to your and your wife’s ministry? You give good sound Bible teaching. Amen. You know the word, Sir. I love it!!!
Thank you Pastor Vlad. You are humble and speaking the truth. Biblical modesty has importance. We are supposed to be putting our focus on the Lord and drawing attention to Jesus, not ourselves.
Thank you so much Pastor Vlad...very clear and informative. More knowledge and wisdom sir
Thank you Vlad! I needed to hear this! Modern styles are trending in the wrong direction (like everything else)!
Proverbs 6:25-26
This verse warns against the dangers of illicit sensuality and of lusting after the beauty of others.
Thank u Pastor! Well said and very clear on this topic
You Are Very Right Vlad.
I felt more beautiful and confident in fashionable modest than when I was in the world wearing crazy stuff for sexual attention but this process took about 2 yrs. Also love that thumbnail outfit!!
*This applies to men and women, in outer and inner attire(your heart)
* just to make the swim wear topic simple: don't wear your bra and undies or revealing swim suit due to modest and sun even my husband wear a swim top.
Maybe you should go to.a different church
I wonder why Paul gives multiple reasons for head covering that transcend cultural limitations?
The best sermon I've heard on head covering is by Keith Malcomson at Limerick City Church, check it out.
As a Christian I like to wear black a lot. People say black represents death, evil, depression. Black is a simple color and easy to wear with other colored clothes. I like the color black. So it's okay right to wear black?
It is OK, don't mind them ,because If so Wearing red is wrong cause it represents Anger?
Depends, why not wear a grey T-Shirt?
@@Battlefield1918Because she likes black.
Blessings.
BLESS YOU BROTBER!
