Happy 4th. Great list. I am opening a 13th Colony bourbon (lower proof). Too hot here in South Florida for a cask strength.

Great bottles. I had a pour of the Green River Full Proof last night and followed it up with a pour of Little Book Chapter 8 that I found yesterday. I am not much of a rye guy, but it is very good! Happy 4th of July. 🥃

I just picked up the EW 1783 Hero edition had to as a former veteran. I killed the last bottle this one will sit on my shelf for a bit. I do enjoy the 1783 so got a regular bottle to enjoy to save the special bottle. Great choices I may crack a bottle of Eagle rare for tonight's pour. Happy Fourth and Enjoy!!

Happy 4th! Don't fall for the marketing. The real Michter's went out of business in 1989. This is a New York company that started a distillery in Kentucky using the name they purchased. A name is all it is. They haven't even been releasing their own distillate. It's sourced Brown-Forman. That doesn't make it bad but it's not this hundreds of year old company. It's a company around 20 years old trying to switch over from sourced to distilled whiskey. I like the brand but they aren't forthcoming about what they really are
