- This is a great way for you to extend your grip on a Glock 26 by using a G19 mag and this little handy sleeve...it also works with the G23/G27 combo...

To all those that say, why don't you just carry a 19 or 23 if you want a bigger grip? My answer is that a shorter barrel is more comfortable for appendix carry. If you're so obsessed with sight radius that you don't mind a 6 inch barrel prodding your crotch all day, then more power to ya. I prefer whatever improves my grip.

I have been carrying one of these mags with the same extension adapter since 1997. I carry it as my spare mag while having the standard 10-round magazine in the Glock 26 for concealability.
The G26 looks perfect with the g19 mag.

What Gen is your 26? Glock store states that this only fits on Gen 3 26, not 4 or 5s

Facts been loving mine for years
Just ordered a couple of these ( X Grips) for my Glock 26, one for a 19 magazine and one for a 17 magazine. Love my Glock 26 Gen 5 made in USA.
That Glock combo at the end is on my nightstand ready to rock. Only issue if it’s a issue at all if you like talon grips it’s not going to be one nice piece.

26 = takes ALL Glock9mm mags from 26, 19, 17, 33.
Except new single stack mags,
& is most universal.

I think it is a great idea. I like the Glock 26 but the grip is a bit too small. More options is always good.
You need the Pearce+2rds grip extension. The one you got is the grip extension only.
I have both & the +2 actually makes grip a bit longer than needed & the 1 you have works best for me. But if I had or get a 26 it’d be perfection.
The best thing I have found for the g26,g27 is called the GAP finger extension and it even helps with drawing the gun from the holster. It does leave your fourth finger off of the gun still but in my opinion that is a good thing because most of the missed shots are caused by milking the grip with the little finger, it gives me a great secure lock on the gun.

19 is a very versatile gun that’s why I got it. YES I COULD GET A 19 OR A 17, but then my options are pretty much limited to things for those particular guns

I Have The Pearce Grip Magazine Extension On My OEM G26 Magazines.
I Originally Had The OEM Magazine Extensions On My G26 Mag Which Came With The Magazine, But Decided To Get A Different Magazine Extension Because The OEM Extensions Are Too Smooth For Me.
My Pinky Hangs Off With The 10 Round Flush Fit Magazine.
Ever try/consider athletic tape to hold the Glock Store mag extension onto then handle itself? And open it up to remove friction from the mag?

I like the texture on that sleeve in your video. But I don't think the Glockstore sells those in particular anymore. And I dont like the xgrip because the sleeve is too slippery. I need one to fit my gen 5 glock 19 mags to my gen 5 glock 26.

Question *****, I have a G26 Gen4 and tried the Pearce + 2 mag extensions and I ended up having a couple failures to feed as a result from my grip on the extension. Have you had failure to feed on the G19 mag and the grip extension?
I have not had any failures to feed on my Gen3...but undo hear that from time to time on the Gen4 for some reason...
Juan, I was reading on a forum and they were saying that the spring tension was made for the original specific round count. So when you add the + to it, the tension isn't as strong. Not the case 100% of the time, but you are likely to experience failures.

Was the failure in a Glock mag or other brand? Sounds like you are inferring the grip extension compressed the mag to jam?
I don’t get it, how is that mag a single stack and still allowed to fit in the 26? Because yu can see the other regular mags he has are double stacked
CA compliant Glock 19 mag. They’re made with the same dimensions as the 15 round mag to still fit in the g19 mag well, but CA residents can only (legally) have magazines with a ten round capacity.

Its pretty hard for a gun to go off without a round chambered. If youre dumb enough “accidentally” chamber a round without noticing Is it any safer with the mag out of the gun?

Either…as long as the mag is the same size it will slip onto any capacity.
Plus it holds 5 more rounds

Yes, but that was because I lived in CA at the time....15 or 17 work great now that I’m in AL ;)

Yes…that’s the biggest issue. Not sure why they have that gap!

Whwn shooting with the magazine extension does it pinch your hand like I have heard rumored from other Glock owners. I am thinking about doing the same thing you are.
It does pinch...but I did some sanding on the back part (dremel) that made it fit better and there was less of a gap for the pinching to occur.

They make Xgrip extensions for the G26 to take G19 (15rd) and G17 (17rd) mags... maybe others?

Glockstore.com and it’s a G19 mag but I believe you can buy a G17 and buy the correct addition
@@HuntsvilleHunter So this particular adapter will not work with both a G17 or G19 magazine? Sure I sound like a complete idiot, maybe that's because I am, never had a semi-automatic handgun, big clunky S & W 38 revolver, just way too heavy to carry for an old man.

@@HuntsvilleHunter Not particular apologizing I'm 72 and owned my first shotgun at age 12, gift from my father to go hunting with him. Several shot guns and a couple deer rifles since then but only one handgun ever, the 38. Looking for all the help I can get. The build did not come with a mag, got a 10 round magpul that fits the subcompact flush on the bottom of the handle, looking for the extension and mag to go with it, would like to stay at 10 rounds if possible.

The G26 G5 is a ( Sub ) Compact 9mm !
Not a full compact duty grip at the back end of the grip : Reason - CONCEALMENT !
So with a Pearce PG-26XL mag base plate grip extension , it extends to a 3 finger grip at the front , but cuts off diagonally to its factory grip length at the back FOR CONCEALMENT .
And it is carried with G19 Backup mags !
As for the sleeve to secure a full grip - That's what you carry at home where concealment is no longer key and a home defense first mag 15 + 1 gun becomes primary carry .
IT'S NOT A G19 Mate !
IT'S A DEEP CONCEALMENT ( Sub ) COMPACT DUTY 9 !
And Likely the best on the market due to magazine capacity interchangeability !
IT'S A FLAT SHOOTER WITH A MATCH GRADE BARREL FOR +P IF DESIRED !
