Thank you for the tutorial on turtlenecks, one of my favorites when the weather allows. My suggestion would be a video on midi/maxi length skirts. I am quite fond of them, and have started to curate them, however need more ideas as how to style them. Thank you.
I'm obsessed with turtlenecks. The tissue ones from Jcrew are wonderful, I have several. I pretty much wear them all winter because they're so easy to layer and style creatively.

@Lisette Campbell - Really?!? The earrings seem so oversized for that neckline (with such a large embellishment). I think she would have been better off with stud earrings in either pearls or diamonds. Those earrings seem too casual for that sweater, IMHO. The sweater is gorgeous! I just wish she hadn’t cheapened the look with those bulky acrylic hoops. 😔
@@sisterspooky As much hair as Aubrey has studs would be hidden unless the hair is pulled back. Perhaps smaller hoops or dangles could be an option. However if she's satisfied there is no point in changing anything. Ultimately it comes down to the mood personal style creates in you.

Also for the series suggestions maybe those Victorian long sleeve sheer blouses? The ones with a lace/chiffon/ruffle collar button up situation and balloon sleeves? I own a few 70s vintage ones like that and I layer them under sturdy sleeveless v neck dresses but don’t really know what else to do. I feel like the principal from Grease when I wear that kind of blouse with a midi skirt by itself!😂
Maybe with some sturdy jeans for some contrast? It also makes the outfit a bit more casual. I don't know if that's your style, but it's a suggestion :)

I just cleaned up my youtube subscriptions. I only have 12 now, and you are one of my favorites. I am one of those people who has been fashion-challenged my whole life! It just doesn't come naturally to me. So the small details that you point out really help me. I teach at a private preschool/kindergarten, and really need ideas for how to dress. I need to look somewhat elegant, but also need to move around, kneel on the ground, jump around, etc. And the shirts have to be longish, so that when I raise my arms above my head, my skin doesn't show.

Thank you for the inspiration. It is really important to choose the right color. I used to wear black turtlenecks, but they are too harsh for me, so I replaced them with dark blue ones. And if you have a big bust, an excellent fitting bra is mandatory.

Lots of great ideas, as always! I like to layer thinner, more fitted polo (turtle) necks under shirts or looser jumpers or looser, wool polo (turtle) necks over lightweight, long, sleeved tops. I'm in the UK, so layering is essential. I love the idea of playing with the neck and how you fold it to change it up a bit.

When I was your age in 1979 I had two sweaters similar to the one you are wearing. One was ivory the other a soft blue that I would wear to work. My husband always complimented me on those sweaters and said I looked like a wrap gift tie with the bow 🎁 . I love turtlenecks ... but on other people. Texas weather is rarely conducive to them. I wore only two of my lovely cashmere sweaters (NOT turtlenecks) last year... and I was just too hot wearing them! I do however have and wear cashmere shawls! They're easily carried, and warm me up nicely in a car, church, hospital waiting rooms, airplanes, & a variety of other uses. Even as a blanket when needed! They fit easily over one shoulder or in a tote! Versatility can't be beat! 👍 ‼️♥️♾

I would really love a video on outfits for the Christmas holidays (Christmas night, Christmas office parties, new years eve). It would be cool to have a video from a "minimalist" point of view (meaning using those staples we already have+maybe some new pieces). It would also be great to have it soon so we can prepare with time. I personally hate how those kind of videos always come out the same week as Christmas so there is no time anymore to prepare or buy anything one might need to purchase. Hope you read this. Same issue here. I find a long necklace that falls under the breast area helps to elongate the torso & take away the focus from the breast.
