Awesome video. You should make this a yearly thing! I love your weird taste in stuff. Also I've been playing lots of Super Mario Picross since it got added too. I'm surprised you already beat it. I'm still struggling through World 7 of the Wario levels with barely any of the Mario levels done. It's one of my favorite games to play late at night. The old feeling of the game gives me a nice feeling late at night.

Surprising to see how many games I also played this year on this list, especially more niche games like A Short Hike and Spook Ware. Definitely going to look into the ones mentioned that I didn't get a chance to play, though!
I’ll be honest Kirby Squeak Squad is definitely my second least favorite mainline Kirby of all of the ones I’ve beaten only ahead of Dreamland 2. Not because the gameplay tho. In fact, aside from the level design being complete garbage at times, it’s actually pretty fun if a bit bland with some really cool new abilities. There’s other small things like how most of the soundtrack is just songs from other games, but the main issue is with the story and more specifically, the characterization of Kirby himself. Throughout the entire game, all he cares about is his cake, even after Dark Nebula possesses Daroach, which I think COMPLETELY misses Kirby’s character. Yes he likes food and it might be a secondary motivation to save the universe from the ungodly horror of the week like in Rainbow Curse, but it’s NEVER his primary motivation outside of Squeak Squad. Honestly on its own it might be ok, but like 90% of the discussions revolving Kirby’s motivations to kill an eldrich horror just equate to jokes about how “he killed a god because his cake was stolen” and is much less often about the fact that he is basically positivity incarnate, never really asking for much in return of helping others, always wanting to make new friends, always standing up for what’s right. As someone who has learned to love the entire Kirby cast, this is some of the worst mischaracterization of any character in the IP. Not as bad as Anime Dedede, but it honestly comes far closer than it really should, especially considering this time it’s fully canon rather than being some silly side thing like the anime. I’m sorry for ranting, but I just get really heated about Squeak Squad’s story and the stupid cake. I think I need to talk about games I actually like to even it out, thankfully Forgotten Land is here too. While it still doesn’t top the king aka Planet Robobot, man it comes close. The music’s great like always, the combat is super cool with the dodge roll, I love the upgrades, the level design is fantastic, Mouthful Mode took a lot of what made the Robobot Armor great while still being its own thing, and overall this was just such a fun and polished game from beginning to end. This is genuinely one of the best 3D Platformers I’ve ever played along side the Galaxy games, 3D World, and A Hat in Time.
I've never heard of Pokemon Breeder, but it's incredible to see how much the 3DS games onward borrowed from it in making the minigames where you wash your Pokémon. Think it'd definitely be worth a video.

In all seriousness tho if you only played the looker for the humor and the jokes i cant necessarily tell you its a must-buy or anything as The Witness is pretty much exclusively made for people who like puzzles, but holy shit, if you like puzzles, this game is an actual gift from heaven. Pretty much the only thing The Witness has going for it is the puzzle and level design (theres not really a story or plot or anything) but damn, it does that one thing so right, and its is an open world game, so thats saying a lot. The art direction is outstanding for an indie; the puzzles while initially quite "arcaic" become more and more creative and mindblowing the longer the game goes on; the island is so tightly constructed that every single object in the game is where it is for a reason and changing anything during development would probably break a puzzle or two and the open world aproach to puzzles fixes so many problems of the genre in a way where you are really never forced to complete a difficult puzzle to progress, and the way the game teaches you mechanics with no tutorials or words is straight up genius aaahhhdjdjdncjfkrnfnf It's so good I wish I could play it again for the first time😫. I dont think The Witness is perfect or anything but as I stated before It's so divisive that I can't really guarantee anyone that you will like it but damn I have never played a game that just straight up feels like a timeless classic, It's so fucking interesting and revolutionized so much in game design I genuenilly believe this game should be studied it's that well crafted. tl;dr 7/10 too much water

Anyway you can PLEASE make a Play Yan micro video on how to format an SD card the files you have to put on the SD card to start using play yan. Im sure my play yan works I just keep getting SD CARD READ ERROR message when turning the play yan on. THANK YOU in advance if you are able to do one, thanks
