Billy! You and your family should take a nice trip to Oahu Hawaii. You look like you need a great vacation. Head over to Waikiki and relax In the beautiful Hawaiian atmosphere and shopping there. Then try to get a reservation to a Friday luau event from any of the vendors. You have been working hard you should take a great vacation to paradise.

My goodness those papers are absolutely stunning. How fortunate we are that they were 'under cover' all these decades, and that Billy & Michael are so careful and respectful in handling them. Any museum conservator would love to see them in person. (If possible, keep that room pitch dark.) They will add immeasurable richness to the restoration.

As an artist, I really enjoyed this exchange between, Michael and Billy. There just isn't enough appreciation of the old art and craft works in the world. So much of what we take for granted in our modern world, such as rolls of wallpapers, ceramic tiles or even the simple pencil are creations of a bygone age that we utilise in some form or other today.

What a great Idea Billy, Michael could do a class - conservation is a life long learning experience and they could learn from him and he in turn might learn from them. They could do trips together to artisan places to learn even more. Not that your brother isn't busy enough with his cottage, green house, Chateau Kitchen, Decorating Chateau Bedrooms for guests, sealing the Terrace and making preparations for the Chapel Ceiling.. He might have time to teach a class or two if Mortimer behaves and doesn't have Michael in with the cows lol

Michael has a lot of knowledge he can share - he needs to share! - with others to help perpetuate the conservation of historic things. Many people want to do it but don’t know how to go about it and Michael is a wealth of information on many different historical topics. You are a very interesting person, Michael, and others would be lucky to learn from you.

Hello Billy & Michael, it's one thing to find this old wallpaper, but certainly another to re-produce it - well done for conserving it, and to be used in the convent!! Well done. Best wishes from Lincolnshire.

For the wallpaper resto try Photoshop generative fill instead. Just snap a photo of each paper and crop it then do generative fill
