Hey sorry for late reply! Not all ASUS routers support OpenVPN. You can check it via specifications page on the ASUS router page. You should see "OpenVPN client" or "WireGuard" that indicates that it will work. In regards to your second question, currently you will get one IP that will work across all pages. However Surfshark is looking into giving a way to have different IPs on different websites.
The manual setup page looks different for me, there's no locations

No, I didn't buy the TP-Link router yet because I was waiting for your reply. Any router I buy must be able to run Surfshark and must be enable me to change/set the GPS location.
If this TP-Link model can do that, could you please confirm. Or please Recommend a router that is both compatible with Surfshark and that can have the GPS location set by me.

I had IPVanish which doesn’t work for Hulu. I decided to try Surfshark, which does work, however the movies shows blurry which is really frustrating. I have a Samsung q80b and prior to using Shurfshark I was getting 4K movies. Now my movies shows 780p. I have tried downloading the TCP instead of UDP and the same quality. I will contact customer service for a refund.

Hi, when I click on "VPN" on Asus control panel it looks nothing like what's on the video! To the right of the menu I have PPTP, OpenVPN, IPSec and WireGuard VPN. Basically after step2 of the video I am completely lost. Any help appreciated please? I have an Asus RT-AX58U router.

Hi Melissa! RT-AC53 doesn't feature OpenVPN support, so it will unfortunately not work. I'd recommend either getting a new router or consider using a Windows PC to share VPN connection, we have made a guide about that here: ua-cam.com/video/Km6yhe1ihO8/v-deo.html

I have done everything. The funny thing is that even with the VPN profile activated and connection checked ✔️ , Surfshark check says is unprotected, so VPN is not working. Why? I paid the subscription and now I am about to cancel it as this is not working.
I am using an Asus RT-AC66U and my ISP is Rogers(set router to Bridge mode). It will not work with the standard Asus firmware but once installed the Asus Merlin firmware version RT-AC66U_380.70_0 everything works!!!!
