@Seals 1978 First of all, I am actually too lazy to reply to your comment that mentioning me as this is not my main comment after all. Secondly, it seems that you have a very narrowed understanding about capitalism not to mention the idealism that RATM is shouting. Even if you live in a communist country it doesn't mean that you get everything for free. But since this is something that need to be well informed to others as well then I would spend some little time trying to respond to you. First, RATM doesn't hate capitalism. This is what is happening all over the world actually in case you haven't heard it, despite the political ideology. It's also the main theme that synced in the listeners of their songs. The unfairness and injustice of the corrupted system resound easily to any people that have been through it (which is actually the majority). It's never about the capitalism, socialism, or communism. It's all about the mismanagement on most of the corrupted system filled with greedy people. Next, even if you understand that RATM hates capitalism. It doesn't mean that they shouldn't charge their show, or if they charge their show for $500++ is something outrageous. They're fighting to get out of the system, not giving out free solution. It's very understandable if they need to charge their show tickets as it's never just RATM alone in the business. From my understanding, RATM can be considered as a band that really put their music first then the commercialism needs. They never been so picky with the venue, and most of their show earnings are donated to foundations that are having misfortunes in the corrupted system they're talking in their songs. I can never understand the point of view from you alike people. You take a point and make it as another point based on a narrow understanding then make it sounds like you're sounding a bitter truth. What if Tool and Rage did a collab?
This song has aged incredibly well , like a keg of whiskey..decades later still relevant as the first day it came out , dare I say even relevant today!!!
It hasn't aged at all. I saw the band live last week and this song sounds like it came out yesterday. Nothing Rage has ever done sounds dated. They are still as relevant as ever ✊✊✊✊🔥🔥🔥🔥
Unfortunately they , like many others in the last 3 years, have shown themselves to be in the pocket of the “machine “
They are hypocrites.
A keg of whiskey 😅😂
dude this shit is MORE relevant today.

Brad Wilk. Most underrated drummer of all time
indeed the rhythm section of RATM is as fine as it gets
i really enjoyed trying to play "killing in the name" in drums when I jammed with my friends
Big fact, he's understated but always brings the grit and groove they need
Not at all. He was behind the kit in the last album from Black Sabbath. You rule Brad, congratulations bro!!!

Oh... I knew
Not me.
It was fairly obvious....
That’s not even a good thing
I agree people need to listen up people like go yay we love this song people listening but not listening the details.
this is the type of music i listen to in school and get into trouble but i don't care because it serves a message that is needed to be heard
"It has to start somewhere, it has to start sometime, what better place than here, what better time than now" That needs to be our anthem now, because we failed to listen that for the last 30 years
Noone does it like rage tho. Zack is One of the best lyricist ever!.

Right: we need paranoid Marxist musicians who don't know how thriving economies work.
They were set to tour this year, but then Covid happened. Hopefully in 2022.
Dude, this song is one of the reasons I began to love rock, like 15 years ago... Damn, the time is flowing like a river
sorry dude, what a waste of time, sad
Yes it sure is

They sold out a long time ago. Been bought and paid for to keep quiet.
This brings back happy memories. Thank you rage against the machine for the rage. I feel you in 2022. 😎
Their music was so shockingly innovative. Nobody had the guts to combine Funk, Hip-Hop and really hard guitars. There was nothing before and after them on the same energetic level. They were a force of nature in their concerts. We should have listened closer to what they were singing …
That style actually existed before them. They took from Urban Dance Squad a lot. Also other bands mixed metal and rap before, like Run DMC, Uncle Slam and others. But RATM did it in a very special way.
Guts? It takes courage to combine various approaches to troubadour?
Beastie Boys
Yeah unfortunately capitalism is only getting worse and worse.
The genre is called Nu Metal. Funk, hip hop, and rock. Korn actually was the first to do it

I like how RATM music videos have uncensored lyrics. Most rare moments in VEVO history when it comes to the VEVO community that puts together music videos from the past 90’s and 2000’s and most of them are censored.

You know where they're been? In their mansions overlooking Hollywood hills. But now I guess they are running low on cash, that's why they need to resemble, play couple of concerts, take all your money and laugh all the way to the bank. And then in about 10 years when theyre need more of your money to buy another mansion, private jet, or to get their kid through college, they'll be back again, and you will again open your wallet with the biggest smile on your face while they're feeding you their great "message" by a spoonfull. RATM, is one of those bands that defines an entire music movement, and a decade. Just like Beatles, Zepellin, or Sex Pistols did once. Their music creativity, and their political lyrics, made RATM a band like no other. So glad, they become part of my youth, back in the 90´s.
