Lyrics
[Intro]
Come wit' it now
Come wit' it now
[Verse 1]
The microphone explodes, shattering the mold
Either drop the hits like de la O or get the fuck off the commode
With the sure shot, sure to make the bodies drop
Drop and don't copy, yo, don't call this a co-op
Terror rains drenchin', quenchin' the thirst
Of the power dons, that five-sided Fistagon
The rotten sore on the face of Mother Earth gets bigger
The trigger’s cold, empty your purse
[Chorus]
Rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
[Verse 2]
Weapons, not food, not homes, not shoes
Not need, just feed the war, cannibal animal
I walk the corner to the rubble, that used to be a library
Line up to the mind cemetery now
What we don't know keeps the contracts alive and movin'
They don't gotta burn the books, they just remove 'em
While arms warehouses fill as quick as the cells
Rally 'round the family, pockets full of shells
[Chorus]
Rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
[Guitar Solo]
Bulls on parade, uh
[Outro]
Come wit' it now
Come wit' it now
Bulls on parade
Bulls on parade
Bulls on parade
Bulls on parade
Bulls on parade
Bulls on parade

You can spend your hole life trying to create the 'killer riff' of your dreams and will forever be haunted by the fact all Tom Morello needed was an OCTAVE.
Alan Dove I always thought the same. this song was just a big demonstration of how powerful and groovy they are with nothing more than an octave and one chord on wahwah!!
I don't know octave. I get it
The main riff of this song was taken from Immigration Song from Led Zepellin. Morello changed the rhythm. However, Immigration Song was stolen from a black southern guitarist. Page would go to Southern bars and steal riffs from black guitarists.
As if the self titled album wasn't fucking good enough, they followed it up with this.
We had some unreal music in the 90s.
Adam Smith he didn’t go to southern bars to steal riffs from black guitarist, listened to blues records like everyone else and stole licks and riffs and ideas from there just like everybody else. Stealing riffs isn’t a new thing that Page invented.
Their energy and power is to this day unmatched. Lyrics hit hard then and even harder today.
No it isn't.
I don't mind a little debate, but that's just contrarian. If you have a point to make, I'm all ears. Otherwise, you are simply wrong.@@sagemenson

@Subprime Porcupine The only way to attain a state of plenty is through an economic system that rewards hard work. Currently, capitalism offers more individual freedoms. Liberals create conditions where rights are reduced and bureaucracy is the only rhetorical portal for conservatives due to intersectionality cultists actively discriminating against anyone who is straight white male and Christian.
Then there's the question of economics..... 80% of all American money ever printed to date has been created since Biden got in office. Meanwhile other world powers are grabbing at all the prosperity from American economic dominance.
That's gonna make you poor son. Biden is a globalist, he has power and can influence and pad anything financially negative that comes his way. He does not have your best interest in any thought. He doesn't even do anything good for minorities, he's on record saying some pretty nasty stuff.

It's ironic in a sense that something is censored to make it more accessible. Usually censorship works the other way around. Other than that, I really don't see the irony. I remember playing this song on guitar hero as a kid, whenever he said “pocketful of shells” I thought he meant seashells. Boy was I naïve 😂
