I got my 85 GMC out this evening for the second time! I also never have any luck separating hammering tie rods loose. A pickle fork is always required.
There so nice with new frontend parts
Great video 👍
I'm actually just taking a break from working on Clifford. He's my 1990 crew cab squarebody. Getting ready to start on the pitman arm. I need one of those shirts, lol Looks like the back of ol Clifford
Downloaded all 3 vids / going to change both as soon as the parts get here, glad to find someone who went step by step on how to do it , thanks a lot, Rafael
I appreciate you watching and I hope the videos help you out.
Great job man, little mistakes happen.. I've learned so much from you, keep up the good work. I will be buying shirts and such from you..
" Harmonious Outcome" I'm going to steal that! I hope you are having a great Friday!
I stole that line from an old western ..
Great job and great video 👍🏽
Thanks
good vid. gave me a clue on what to do. ✌
Awesome, thanks for watching
So I’m going to replace my idler arm on my 86 square, body this week and so far your way is the first time I’ve seen someone do it without removing it . And Im more of a kiss person (keep it simple stupid) so hopefully I’ll be able to send you maybe a video or a picture thanks for keeping it simple
Kiss is the best way. Good luck

What if my wheels "clunk" when I rock them side to side, and top to bottom? Does that mean it's a wheel bearing? The suspension shop says the tie rods and ball joints are fine.
That sounds like the bearings. They might just need tightened up.
I know this video is a little old now but any chance you have the part number for the idler arm? I’ve gotten 2 from different brands now and the shafts seem to be the wrong size, yours looks like what I need. Thank you!
I think it was a moog K6096t
@@SquarebodyStuff you’re the best! Thank so much
@C10Ballou you're welcome
I will see you at the Cruise on Saturday
Awesome, ole Creampuff won't be the prettiest, but we'll be there.
I call mine the survivor. It was my auto mechanic teacher’s truck
The 4 door can't u just reverse them
do you happen to know the idler arm bracket torque specs ? i have to replace mine
Not off hand. I'll try to look them up.
@@SquarebodyStuff thank you looking forward to your replay
