    How important is aerobic base training, the literature really emphasises the importance of it in practically any track event, a study even says the aerobic system is the system predominantly used in an 800 metre event which is a short event.
    I hope to have my first amateur bout 3x2 in about 6 months, can I do weights/plyometrics and intervals on my boxing days (mon/wed/fri) and on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday do a long bike ride >1:30hr with technical drills in the gym so it isn't too fatiguing but I build my aerobic base then take Sunday off?
    The closer I get to a fight the less aerobic work I would do and I'd increase the intensity I guess.
