The truth is haaland is very good at his main job, scoring goals. At the opposite end of the spectrum, u have Gabriel Jesus that is good with link ups and has good technical skill. He does everything well apart from his main job as a striker
haaland def lacks some basic skills that uses his physicality but his presence alone helps other players around him. "main job" is different for each manager/tactics. the main job of a false 9 is to create space and the main job of a traditional 9 is to score. to say "apart from his main job as a striker" is just showing the lack of tactical knowledge in modern football. and no, im not a fan.. this is coming from someone who wants both of those teams to fail lol
I still remember the time, when a good striker was a good striker, because he scored goals. Now people want a good striker to be a playmaker, crosser, first defender, ball holder, dribbler and an upfront ball distributor, ofc next to being a clinical finisher inside and outside of the box...let the guy just score goals and be happy, man.
Yeah, Its just making me sick Before Erling joined, 5TH IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE After Haaland joined, 1ST IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE, 1ST IN THE FA CUP, 1ST IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, you read that right A F*CKING TREBLE! My guy does not need this much disrespect He could score many of messi's misses A strikers role is NOT a crosser, a Defender, a Ball holder, a dribbler A STRIKERS JOB IS TO STRIKE THE BALL INTO THE NET, Haaland sums it up so perfectly but then people act like hes dog sh*t
Well Messi hardly misses his chances when he gets any.But people expecting Haaland to be more like a playmaker is just stupidity. The guy's primary role is to score the goals which he does so perfectly.Of course any player can have their off days n that's normal in football but to expect a penalty box striker to now be a Messi like player is just ludicrous.
They want haaland to play like sterling getting the good pass from kdb, and then stand waiting for players to dribble and end up losing the ball, honestly kdb would have got more than 200 assists in premier if it was not fake sterling
@@KaweesaTanansi nobody saying that. Look at top strikers from 2000-2010 or 2010-2020. Players like suarez, lewandowski, aguero, rooney, nilstelroy, etc. They were capable players outside of just goals.

Even though all the criticism, the fact that this guy has 25 league goals in the most competitive league in the world and is still being criticized just shows you how he's exceptional
It's not just about the amount of goals. It's the way he scores them. Most of them are tap-ins and penalties, which are still goals, but goals that prove he can't be the backbone of his team. He's a good missing puzzle piece, though.
it just isnt the most competitive league in the world is is though, its always city winning and hes got a billion euro team build around him, hes a part of the best team in the league against other garbage sides, only the top 2 teams did something in the ucl, while 3rd (liverpool) got knocked out by a 6th place italian side, and 4th (aston villa) got thrashed to a greek side, the prem is a joke of a league with a bunch of cash
Haaland scoring 50+ goals, breaking the all time EPL scoring record and winning the treble in his DEBUT EPL season at 22 years old is one of the greatest footballing feats in history. Then he went and got most goals and g/a's in his second season. I respect that very much.
@@gerhughes6854not a city fan by any means but those 115 potential charges were almost hand-crafted to go against city. The EFL didn’t like a state controlled club and that’s completely fine because it is an unhealthy sporting practice, but to act like these sanctions aren’t deliberately staged against city is a bit disingenuous. Complain about the fact that they’re funded by an oil country instead and you’ve got a legit reason that people can get behind.
I think the disrespect to Håland is a microcosm of the fact that nobody respects Manchester City. He’s a freak goal scorer who could do this for any team in the world and he should be respected as such. I think the one argument that you could use against him is that his lack of involvement in big games points to how elite teams might be figuring him out, but it’s much too early to fully make a judgement like that
Well another part of the criticism and probably even half comes with people trying to claim Messi as deserved winner of ballon D'or(not saying he was or not) and the most popular argument is to point out haaland lesser involvement plays
Yes, Even as a MADRID fan, we currently don't have a striker. The people who are criticising Halland will stop talking crap about him when he joins their club. They don't like Man City(Similar experience as a Madrid Fan)
Just look at the impact he has when on the field. Gvardiols first goal on saturday against Fulham shows it. Haaland was at the back post and had two defenders on him. Suddenly it was full opening for Gvardiol because the defender was more concerned with Haaland. He is often indirectly involved in a lot of goals for City that is not recognized and appreciated.
You do realize that in their prime messi, hazard, Neymar had almost 5 players marking them in every game and it never made them unimpactful and ghost in big games 😂
Ronaldo has spent most of his career under criticism. Famously at United he was labelled the problem despite being their top scorer. in reality, football is a game of emotions
Haaland came in and became the last piece of the puzzle for Pep to win the UCL. People were talking all the time how City do not need another playmaker in the 9 position. They had enough with De Bruyne, Gundogan, Sterling, Mahrez etc. They got a number 9 who's good at scoring goals and they're still moaning. The funniest thing is - what they said about City two seasons ago, they're saying now about Arsenal and Gabriel Jesus. These pundits should not be listened to and their only goak is to generate clicks, likes, by calling a a treble winner a league two striker. Haaland is brilliant at what he does and that's scoring goals. With him City won their first ever UCL amd secured a treble. What else do you want?
Haaland is a phenomenal footballer, he is so deadly in front of goal teams are forced to double mark him because if they don't he is almost guaranteed to score, he is exceptionally fast, incredibly strong, he is also a danger in the air, his positional sense is also one of the best in the world. Just because he isn't spraying passes across the pitch doesn't make him a bad player.
I agree that Haaland is fast and strong. As for his 'positional sense', he is basically a goal-hanger - and that is Pep's plan for him, so he is fulfilling his role. Overall I don't see him as a 'phenomenal footballer' - he can't dribble, and his passing is average. He does score a lot of goals, but that is largely because he gets a lot of chances. His strike accuracy and goal conversion rates are not even the best in his team - last season that honour went to Phil Foden! Haaland: 98 shots; 28% goal conversion; 60% shot accuracy Foden: 64 shots; 30% goal conversion; 75% shot accuracy
The fact that he won 2 golden boots in a row in the most competitive league on earth shows he's doing his job and he always has 2 defenders guarding him. He's one of the physically strongest strikers in the league and one of the fastest
Haaland has youth on his side, only 23 years old and regarded as on of the best pure goal scorers in the world. He can only get better and improve the weaknesses in his game. Reminds me a lot of what Havertz has been dealing with since leaving Leverkusen. Both very tall players, look awkward on the ball but have their own unique qualities and strengths.
Yea thats what I‘m thinking too, he is so damn young that he has plenty of time to work on his skills, every older legendary player now has had hecklers and such talking shit in their youth
Haaland deserve more respect. He break so many reacords. He help all his team score so much but still got so much toxic comments that he don't deserve. Let the boy do his wirk, he follow what Pep said so be so rude to him? Peoples forghet so fast and so ungrateful.
They say he's not involved in the build up ,I say build up is for mid fielders and defenders strikers is for scoring goals and haaland does that more then every player in the EPL.
Strikers being invovled would certainly be more beneficial, as it helps the ball get around the field. But do people really just forget Inzaghi? He was also a nightmare of a player who sucked at pretty much everything else than goalscoring, but his goalscoring was so good it didn't matter.
@@w1nther930 your point is understandable.mancity have plenty ball rotation players rodry, grealish,Phil, etc therefore that's why they bought a highly scoring player like haaland he was needed .if they wanted a ball playing striker like a false 9 striker they could have looked else where.
Playing at the 9 position, he is the best 9 in the world currently. That makes him one of the best players in the world. No other 9 in the world does the job of a 9 as consistently as he does. Get into position. Score goals. That's it.
inzaghi literally relies on positioning to score goals. let’s also not forget thomas muller as well who’s also in the same boat despite different roles and position(s)
The thing is English media only want English player to succeed. They want to downplay any other player with different nationality. Example are Haaland and Rodri. Rodri didn’t even getting nominated for EPL Player of the year is another example.
@@fuxzor Most of them are former players with egos the size of K2. Thinking just because they played the game they are somehow "experts". I find that hilarious when people like Keane, Neville, Souness etc are all failed managers. They never had the expertise to succeed in that role so they became pundits. Not to mention how hot takes give them extra attention by rage baiting fans and you have a complete clown show. The sad part is that so many people can't see through the charade and will parrot all the stupidity leading to brainrot situations like this with Haaland.
Haaland has literally had a bad season by his standards and has still scored 27 goals. Imagine if he could actually dribble and pass the way these pundits expect him to. He would be the greatest striker ever.
Just return to Germany and people will love him. Premier League is a really weird league, where people will always find a reason to criticize - even if you score an insane amount of goals :D
Honestly, the main reason why Haaland is viewed as an average player is because this generation was shown the two greatest players in the history of the game. They put in stats so insane, they put in performances so godly that when Haaland does his thing which is 36 goals in 22 - 23 in his first season at city it just feels mid, compared to the goats that playfully drops 60+ goals per season.
True, but last year these same people were lauding him as the best player in the world. This is all clickbate. They don't believe any of this. They just want a reaction.
In my street, during football, I am like him - I don't have magical touch or jaw-dropping dribbling, but I have mastered passing in attack and shooting as a Striker/Second Striker. I do my main job, and get praised for it.
He is 23 years old and will get better, but he is a goalscorer and his goal record wherever he has played is the best in the world, bar none, and he will break the PL goal record by a mile! I luv that people are slagging him off, from hearing his interviews, this just fuels his fire, so people beware!
Haaland as a pure striker is so lethal. Just imagine if Haaland could dribble like Neymar, or do fancy step over like Cristiano, or body feint like Messi. It would be a nightmare. (Thank god, god nerfed him in the dribbling area).
He went through clubs in Norway, Austria, Germany and England. He has scored alot everywhere... England called the other land farmer leagues. Now he crushes PL. What more do u need to know?
Had one shitty season last year definitely. Still outscored everybody. City knew exactly what they signed up for. They weren't exactly looking for a Zidane. Butthurt united pundits are tired of bashing their own club constantly and instead projecting their frustration at this guy.
people always find small and stupid reasons to make people look bad for no reason. To all the people hating on him , try scoring 50+ goals a season at the highest level of European football. dude is like 23 years old, if hes already scoring that many goals without being apart of the build up , now imagine in maybe 1 - 3 years, what happens when he develops the proper technical skills like his first touch? if he can physically pull that off and perform constantly at the top level, I really want to hear what people would say about him then.
He might not score against big teams like madrid but at the same time he is providing more space for his teammates because defenders are too busy defending him. If it wasn't because of his insane scoring ability, defenders would not defend him so hardly.
Messi and Ronaldo basically destroyed the idea that the striker should be the source of goals in a team, instead putting focus on the wings. That’s why pundits think that a striker that “just scores goals” is bad, because nowadays a striker is a position not for for goals, but link up play, assists and pressure up top.
That's crazy cus these ex player pundits were all playing when the "number 9" was supposed to be the best position like Ronaldo Nazario El Phenomino Van Basten Cole York Shearer etc.
My father just tried to break me and hold me back in whatever I did in life. To see that there are parents like this in the world gives me hope. Erlings father is genuinily wanting his son to become the bigger man, the better player. No jealusy at all, no falseness, no bs, just pure love. Very impressive, thats the kind of father I wanna be if I have kids.
I feel as though people are confusing a high scoring striker without high technical ability and passing is not as good as a striker with that vs a high scoring striker without high technical ability and passing is bad. For that reason I feel strikers like Lautaro Martínez, Harry Kane, and Oli Watkins are better this season but that does not mean Haaland is not world class. His contributions are critical in City being so dominant. His presence alone in causing a threat and luring defenders creates many goals other City players score. He fits perfectly into the City system because he does the best at finishing chances created by his midfielders that other strikers would not be as good at.
What I mean by he would be better than other strikers if he played for city is he knowns perfectly how to finish balls put in by his midfield. That is why it is possible for him to be considered the most impactful and thus the best player in a certain season.
I agree he is better suited for the premier league I think his style of play which lacks creativity or out of the box thinking does better in Laliga but my question again is how can anybody be world class and you cannot score in big matches????????? I am not dragging the poor guy people have been making fun of Haaland daily the last couple of months to the point where I am starting to feel bad for him I am just asking you cannot be world class or the best striker in the world and cannot score in a champions league finals???? Make it make sense
@@Model_Roe He was better with the ball at Dortmond before joining City ( also looks like peps strategy during those games is using Haaland as bate to make space for his teammates. Reffs let defenders foul Haaland without any reaction, wrestling him down with all their powers (if Messi got handled like that he would be more on the ground than hitting a ball) but if a player barely touch Messi the reff would reach after his card so fast you hear a sonic boom. Not easy to have a awsome touch when he havto carry a defender like a backpack
We should also consider Guardiola’s system, his team model requires stripping players of their individual play for playing hyper specific roles in his well refined tactical machine, Haaland isn’t the only player that moved to City and became a “one trick pony”
What a retarded opinion. You can't win anything without expressing yourself. Pep gives the best tools to just do that. If Pep was so restrictive he wouldn't win anything nor would anyone want to play under him.
People said the same about Van Nistelrooy 20 years ago - yet he still scored which is what strikers are supposed to do. No need for every player on the pitch to be a quasi-midfielder
We never bought him to create chances and what not, we just need him to finish it, he is our missing piece, we won the treble with him, we paid him to do a job, and he's been excellent at it. I will admit he has missed quite a few easy goals this season but 25 goals even after being injured isn't that bad is it 😉
Soccer fans love Haaland. I surgical striker. We love his ability as a pure striker. People should stop defaming him and trying to change him. He is a league at the top of strikers. Like Lewindovski and Zlatan. Zlatan even said.. you gave him as a player to score for the team. He scores why do you complain. As a fan, give the striker a break. He doing a great job and is a pleasure to watch.
People don't respect a pure 9. He does the job and that's all he needs to do, he doesn't need to dribble everyone, Messi has poisoned everyones brain that you NEED to dominate a game to win a game.
Messi hasn't poisoned anybody. It just shows he's way better than anybod else. The likes of Haaland should never be compared with Messi. This is the outcome. DON'T compare them and don't think he can beat Messi in the Ballon d'or. So it's Messi's fault that Haaland is getting stick. You guys are so insane. It's your fault bc you thought he could beat Messi.
Haaland as an athlete alone is world class. He has the zlatan frame with breakaway pace, yes he can improve clinically but he is young. Players don’t reach their heights in terms of finishing until they’re in their late 20s and even early 30s. Haaland is a boss and I’m an Arsenal fan.
People are getting mad at Haaland for doing his job. People say he scores tap ins , But in reality, he scores with his left , right foot and head. Pep wants him to be a finisher / someone who can finish chances as he has elite shooting and physique to fend of defenders. In the box, his finishing is second to none as shown in his debut season . he is a generational talent as seen by his pure goal scoring ability. Although , he can improve in many ways ( dribbling, passing) he does his job to score goals exceptionally well and he does not deserve all this unecessary slander - put some respect on his name - his job is not easy- don't act as if anyone can do it because they can't.
Messi and Ronaldo have really messed up with everyone's mind. The expectation is too high now . Being the best goalscorer in the world and also being ridiculously good in other aspects of the game is bare minimum to be the best player in the world..
That's not true at all. In important games Haaland doesn't even get a chance to pass the ball - you can't call this type of player the "Best Player". By any means.
@@brightphoton4200 that's exactly what he just said dude?? he said that haaland cannot be called the best player in all aspects because messi and ronaldo have pushed the bar so high
Haaland is the best pure natural finisher that has ever played in the premier league. People expect more from a striker because most teams need that. Man United couldn’t have carried Rooney when he was the main man, Villa can’t carry Watkins, Spurs couldn’t carry Kane. But Man City is different. They can play with 9 outfield players and have Haaland waiting to take his chance, and it’s effective. It’s not fair to compare him to players in other systems. I’m all for it, let’s just enjoy him.
Nah bruv, I grew up watching strikers like Van Nistelrooy, Henry, and Suarez, strikers that could not only score goals, but dribble and link up with their teammates
As a coach, I have to almost coach my children's coaches. They really don't understand a lot about football. On top of that, body styles and how they relate to the game. Striker position has evolved into a need for tall, fast players. They scramble for the ball as rapidly as they can and put it in the goal. Their skills are specific on getting the ball to the goal and putting it into the net. There is a lot of pressure on them the same as there is on a keeper just in the opposite manner. Some of them act as a 12th man similar to gronkowski from the New England Patriots. When he is on the field, it takes a lot to cover him. When a great striker like Holland or mbappe is on the field, the defense is sweating bullets. You not only have to double-team the striker then, you also have to stop the pass from getting to them. City has great chemistry and very little room for changing personnel. Whenever somebody succeeds a lot there is always a Target on their backs. Erling is no exception. What I can tell you about city is they work very hard, their coaches are very smart, their players are very smart.
I mean, he was a very different player at Dortmund. Even Zlatan was shit when at Barca, (became so), this all Pep's philosophy, made for technical dwarfs.
@@shaquillethomas1544 The comment is a bit harsh, but zlatan was indeed not as good in barcelona, which has a very systematic style of play, when compared to say like inter milan.
Obviously not exactly the same, but this reminds me of when people were saying the Detroit Lions were better without Calvin Johnson. Most of "sports media" say stupid things on purpose, which sure doesn't help the mouth breathers in the general public. Instead of looking deeper than the basic stat line, and even considering the question of, "Why has this amazing player seem to have fallen off," (Megatron and Haaland consuming the attention of the the entire defense for example), they just talk about how they suck. It's maddening. Anyway, great video, Ped!
Such a gay stance. Ughh only god can judge. Dont speak unless you are better than everyone. People can have correct opinions without even being involved in said category. Quit being so narrowminded. Sounds gay when you dismiss everything as hate instead of trying to use criticism to advantage.
@@themagpie_1 that makes no sense. Because unless you’re doing it as a sport, driving isn’t a competitive game. Did you even think before you wrote that?
It is called a TEAM for a reason 😊 A Team is stronger than the individuals and build up by to combine individual skills... when de Bruyne was injured last season Haarland / the Team suffered - clearly show how a striker needs good midfield to supply chances. Haarland does what he is hired to do... and does it sublime. 🎉
i've watched haaland in bvb and city, not regularly, but i think its enough to see the different city is a club dictate by guardiola every player's movement is set by him that's why haaland was so different compared to his period in bvb but, let's be honest every football fans in the world will welcoming haaland in their team, including me
Haaland is the target. If you play against ManCity, it is necessary to, first, take Haaland out of the game. Then they have 5 other threats that you can't target specifically. Furthermore, taking Haaland out, creates space for the other players. Even if he can't play with his team, he certainly disrupts the enemy defense, just by being there. Plus, the way Haaland plays is rather unspectacular. He is fast, big, strong, and is good at shooting. Thats why he scores a lot of his chances. People tend to forget how many chances even the best strikers miss out on. Haaland doesn't fail a lot, but also isn't someone that creates a chance out of nothing.
When he arrived: He is ass When he scored goals: He is amazing! When he has a dry games: He is ass He is a striker, he doesn't need to do everything else, his job is to score goals. And he is one of the very best at that. People chirp way too much and compare him to others, he is Haaland and he plays like he want to and does very well doing it. Don't listen to people on tv or from the media, they have no fucking clue or a proper idea of what they think and mean. They say shit they don't mean, they say shit for view and don't mean half the shit they say. Make up your own opinion and don't care for others opinion
Okay, so would you prefer to have Erling Haaland who is a great goalscorer but not the best link up play, or Gabriel Jesus who is good with link up play and not the most prolific goalscorer? I'll take Haaland any day of the week... people are just hating on a great player
Erling is just a talent with the exact best conditionings from he was very small. His dad is a pro fotboller, mentally very stable, so Erling happened to have just what most people dont have: years and years of great support from people who knows what it takes.
Goals are the way to win, before Haland city needed to run and create to score goals with Haland they score more with less effort and it helps them to preserve their strength
Almost reminds me of how Ronaldo was treated but more so towards his later years, he just became viewed strictly as a goal scorer, outside of that viewed as a liability regardless of the goal and assists he would accumulate but unfortunately haaland is facing this earlier on let’s see how he deals with it ik he’s on the verge of a second epl golden boot but it doesn’t seem to be enough

Haaland is the football equivalent of Giannis Antetekounmpo. Many NBA fans say Giannis is not "skilled", when in reality, he is very skilled (amazing ballhandling at 7 feet, great passer, etc.) but uses his physicality all the time because it's just so much more efficient.

It's because every defender targets him. Next season you're gonna see the improved Haaland. He is smart and humble. He knows his weakness and he will improve it. It's pretty early to criticize him with a good season.
It's no surprise really. He set the bar so high for himself. His performance will always be compared to his record season and if he is never able to replicate that level of success, the narrative around him will be that he never reached his full potential.
A good team that hardly use his strength. thats a fact! Normal player? He has been involved in 76 goals (63 goals) in 64 Premier league games for City, Since coming to City he has been involved in 95 goals in 95 games! So far in his career he has been involved in 276 goals on 278 games…so its not because he plays for City. In fact, they use him less than Dortmund, Salzburg and Molde did. How many goals would he have scored if he was given more supply and not being injured the periods he has. Also KDB who is the only one who supply him was injured half the season and therefore he was ignored a lot. He has scored 21 hattricks in less than 300 games. Ronaldo used 600 games to score his first 20 hattricks. Still people critisize him and say its because he play for City he scores, LOL! …and he is still only 23.
@@In_my_own_mind again, he Is a normal player. Not good at all in Dribbling, skill, defending, goalkeeping (not needed), passing, assisting, free kicks, corners. And only decent in penalties and weak foot + he Is useless in all the finals and big matches... He Is NOT a good player but he Is big, fast, young and has a great team around him... And he totally depends on It... For' example: The simple loss of KDB for' a few months and Gundogan (trasfer) decresed his numbers From around 60 g+a to around 40 g+a... More supply???? Are you serious??? You must be blind If you don't see that City is literally playing to serve him! Every team he was was the best in their league except for' BVB that was and Is the second best... So he Always had the best players in his team to serve him... He Simply scores only against small teams and when he does he Just scores a lot... Also, Ronaldo was a Midfielder in the First 7 years of his Carrer... So obviusly he Started scoring Hattricks when he was almost 24.
It doesn't matter if he doesn't score in any match, so long as someone else does. It's a team game, so if he's being double teamed, it opens up chances for his teammates. He remains the biggest threat to any defence in the league.
I mean, lets be honest here, the big factor for a striker like Haaland is his conversion rate, and if we compare it to other top level strikers like Kane or mbappe, even Salah, it leaves something to be desired. It needs to be ON POINT. Kane and Mbappe are able to playmake as well as score goals, that makes them useful in other areas and Salah is good at opening up play, but Haaland? Off the ball he is not as useful, thus his finish ability needs to be absoloutly on point. I have watched his games this season and he has simply missed so many sitters It has made me wonder if he is truly worth the price city paid for him. The amount of chances city have given him that conversion rate should be higher. Last season he was phenominal, that cannot bedenied, but is that a sign of a good season or a good player? I have my doubts personally. Now I am not saying he is *bad* because i don't think that, he is not a bad striker, but he is in comparison to what people believe he is and compared to other top strikers right now. A tier, not S tier. Another great vid though, thank you. Can't wait to see you cover the Euros.
@@hellohi1445not for me at any rate. For a striker to be S tier either they need to be able to create chances when on the ball, open up play when off the ball, or have a higher conversion rate than he currently does if unable to do the other two.
Haaland: 98 shots; 28% goal conversion; 60% shot accuracy
Foden: 64 shots; 30% goal conversion; 75% shot accuracy

Yes, he's quite clumsy. Neither Haaland nor Mbappe have the magic of Messi and Ronaldo. We miss them.
When he arrived: He is ass
When he scored goals: He is amazing!
When he has a dry games: He is ass
He is a striker, he doesn't need to do everything else, his job is to score goals.
Haaland is the Ovechkin of football
Man City won the Champions League after signing Haaland.
conquer my ass he got cooked by 1m75 smol lisandro
he is a super player. period.indeed, he deserves respect!🎉
Okay, so would you prefer to have Erling Haaland who is a great goalscorer but not the best link up play, or Gabriel Jesus who is good with link up play and not the most prolific goalscorer? I'll take Haaland any day of the week... people are just hating on a great player
Yeah link up play strikers are overrated af.
Or I would take a footballer who has mixtures of both 🤷
@@EliasRoyanyone would🤦♂️ but that wasn't an option
@@EliasRoy which striker has a mix up of both and scores at Haaland’s rate? There isn’t one. Smh
Erling is just a talent with the exact best conditionings from he was very small. His dad is a pro fotboller, mentally very stable, so Erling happened to have just what most people dont have: years and years of great support from people who knows what it takes.
I think the world know who his father is by now.
People love to complain. What if haaland had 1000 useless back-passes in a game and 0 goals?
Goals are the way to win, before Haland city needed to run and create to score goals with Haland they score more with less effort and it helps them to preserve their strength
He has been a bit lax at city best of the service but he's definitely the best striker of this generation by a country mile.
bro must not know km3
@@louisadamsabc Haaland's better as a striker.
@@louisadamsabc As a pure number 9, haaland is definitely better. Overall Mbappe tho
Please tell me you’re joking
@@infantshredder55holiday Nope, he is the best striker of this generation.
That's the pb with a pure goal scorer. He can disadvantage the team if he doesn't do anything else. Look at Ronaldo, Man U benched him, so did Portugal. He was interfering with the team.
@@elizabethcsicsery-ronay1633 delusional. What if I said the problem with playmakers is that they disadvantage the team by not scoring goals. Insane how goalscorers are not respected
He is doing his Job! scoring Goals! He will score 1200 Goals at the end of his Career
He’s missed like 50 open chances, the most in the league. While people give Nunez and Jackson heat for missing half the chances Haaland gets.
Are you just dumb
Haaland missing more than Jackson hate really causes delusion doesn't it
Difference is Nunez / Jackson have never been half as prolific as Haaland🤦♂️
English people are just jealous of his superior genetics and athleticism.
I was a 6’3” soccer player myself and I was the top goal scorer for my team and my coach hated me cause he said I “played soccer in an ugly way” but he was a 5’6” British guy who was still crying about his country losing the revolutionary war even though he lived in America 😂
Great video Riyad Mahrez
Thank you for the video. Haaland is one of the greatest player PL as ever season no doubt.
I swear people forget how skillfully was haland in dortmund, pep forced him to be a tap in merchant, same thint he did to aguero.
Even in Dortmund his dribbling stats so shit.
Those pundits criticizing him are jealous.
All these failed footballers critisising him, what do you want striker to play defense playmaking and goalkeeping
Roy Keane isn't a failed footballer
roy keane is a failed footballer ??
@@Chad-be3jm yes a FAILED footballer. Had ZERO technical ability and was just a thug player and he thinks he can talk to Haaland about technical ability. A shameless clown
imagine Inzaghi but 6'5, strong, agile and fast, he is always in the right position, getting goals himself or helping his teammates to get goals, yes, no technique, but still a generational player
how tall is haaland in his current measurement before pre-season during medical test.
This is not a great name for a channel. LOL.
oh yeah, I just saw that 😂
Everyone's on steroids
Great video! Next season Haaland will be back with something to prove.
It’s because he ghosts in big matches not because of the type of player he is
Ghost that scores...
It's because every defender targets him. Next season you're gonna see the improved Haaland. He is smart and humble. He knows his weakness and he will improve it.
It's pretty early to criticize him with a good season.
Why don’t you criticise Henry,Suarez,Zlatan and Kane for their disappearing acts in big games then.
Great guy and goal scorer! Well done!
This was said about Ronaldo too...the whole world has gone crazy 😂😂
Thats an understatement and it goes for everything in this world today.. Everything is up side down.
It's no surprise really. He set the bar so high for himself. His performance will always be compared to his record season and if he is never able to replicate that level of success, the narrative around him will be that he never reached his full potential.
Haaland is a normal player that plays in a great team who is needy of a striker. That's the fact.
A good team that hardly use his strength. thats a fact!
Normal player?
He has been involved in 76 goals (63 goals) in 64 Premier league games for City,
Since coming to City he has been involved in 95 goals in 95 games!
@@INFINITIKAOS The fact that you think Ronaldo was a midfielder in United says enough.lol
@@brunofernandez2906 try to Watch golf instead buddy... Football Is not for' you... Thia point Is pretty clear and If you want check It by yourself...
then why was he so good at every club he was at before city?
I hate halland he just stays in the box
Haaland isn’t an S tier striker is what ur insinuating?
@@hellohi1445not for me at any rate.
For a striker to be S tier either they need to be able to create chances when on the ball, open up play when off the ball, or have a higher conversion rate than he currently does if unable to do the other two.
Lewen, mbappe, kane, they can all do this. Haaland cannot.
What's your criteria for S tier?
@@Whoami691 Haaland is a genius at luring defenders and creating chances for creative outlets that lead to crucial goals. His ability to be the most influential without touching the ball almost makes me think of Cantona.
Not you again man 😭
So ronaldo is also not a S level striker he's been a tap-in merchant his whole career
Haaland is the modern Hugo Sanchez. He's a tap in merchant, but in every positive sense of the term. He isn't a dribbler or play maker or passer or mental mastermind. Players like him often get down played because it's "one touch" or just the last couple touches to score.
Headline should be: People Pissed at Haaland doing his job way too well.
And I don't even like Man City
Haaland skill set is awesome from hold up play to vision. He has a footballing IQ no other striker in the league can compete with. His holds off defences and when necessary put them on their arse. His goalscoring record speaks for itself. Anyone finding issue with this man is doing so out of jealousy. He is a bargain buy and will be an easy sell if and when he decides it’s time.
