How I became Erling Haaland | Documentary

  • Erling Haaland is ready to dominate the Premier League. A terrifying presence to any opposition, standing at 6'4" (193 cm) tall, the Norwegian wonderkid inherited the dogged work ethic of his footballing father (Alf-Inge) and burst onto the scene as a 'manchild' 15 year old at Bryne FK. Haaland then moved to Molde, before transferring to Red Bull Salzburg, where he became only the second teenager in UEFA Champions League history to score in each of his first three appearances in the competition. It was not long before Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund pounced, and Haaland established himself as one of the deadliest strikers in Europe. Now his tour of devastation continues at Manchester City. We went to Norway to learn more about his roots.
Let us show you how he became Erling Haaland, the next football superstar.

He's so overrated tho, he's basically Harry Kane but younger. Nothing Special, he shoots and he scores, thats about it. Can't dribble too well and isn't that quick with the ball. Easily stopped by defenders. Its so dumb how people are calling Haaland better than MBappe with is just sad xD, if he was that good he would've scored against PSG, we saw his true talent with no fans and answer is, he's shit. Players like Mbappe can play super well even without their fans at away games AKA a hat trick against Lyon.

Dortmund were the only team desperate enough to give the agent a 40 million share of any future transfer fee. Man Utd will never going to sign Haaland as long as Mina Riaola is his agent because he is at war with Man Utd for not selling his other client Pogba. He openly insults the club in media and Man Utd tried to make a deal for Haaland without the agent. But if another big Premier League wants to sign him, he will go there. Haaland was short boy who had a sudden growth spurt in his late teens. The same happened to Steven Gerrard, Kane and Dele Alli. Gerrard was said to be the smaller than Michael Owen until he was 15 years old where suddenly grew to be over 6 foot. I think these player who grow up short have to become very technical due to their lack of size and when they have that growth spurt, they maintain the technical skill of short player but now have the physical size that maybe a player who has always been tall doesn't have.

Today Haaland has 52 goals across all competition, He netted 36 times in the Premier League, breaking the record for the most goals scored in one 38-game season, won the treble with City, all at the age of 22. He has the work ethic of Cristiano and the humility of Messi. That's a formula for greatness right there!

Haaland was born on July 21, 2000 in Leeds, England. He is the son of sports couple Alf Inge Haaland and Gry Marita. His father was a footballer who played for Leeds at the time of his birth, while his mother was an athlete and a Norwegian champion in heptathlon. From a very young age, football became his passion.

Incredidible talent and maturity for such a young man of 22. I love watching him play. I kind of feel sorry for other teams trying to defend against him.
