What this video didn’t mention was Messi’s total goal contributions during this span. He scored 91 goals. Most players will never even sniff that number in goals AND assists, let alone in one calendar year. If you totaled his goals AND assists over that 2012-13 period, he’s well over 100. For most players, those are a whole career stats, not one-year stats.
