It's kind of funny that most live service games, that are meant to live on for years, are the first to die. It's almost like, like service games aren't as enticing to gamers, as developers think they are.
They don’t care what’s enticing to gamers. All they see is a way to create a game that use as less resources as possible and bring in money over a long period of time. Businessmen and women and investors have ruined gaming.
I keep hearing people complain about shadow of war but I put like 100 hours in and didnt even know there were microtransactions in it. I absolutely loved that game.

I bought Shadow of War on release and was surprised with how much people were upset about the micro transaction stuff. I think I just loved the grind and just playing with the nemesis system so much that I never felt the need to mess with it. I probably put in over 100 hours before I finished the story just because I love the nemesis system. Hopefully they don’t do it worse in Wonder Woman, because I want more nemesis system. Also just really want to see how they incorporate it into a Wonder Woman game.
I probably put close to 100 hours in shadow of war and didn't even know there were micro transactions until some video mentioned it.
Another bad decision by Sony, days gone was a gem and was building a strong fan base, they should’ve allowed a sequel

The Wonder Woman game better be a greek version of the previous installments of the Arkham series. Open world, ONE player fighting game with npc partners, like maybe superman helping her or something like that. I refuse to waste money on a game to play with friends. If I wanted that, I'd play fortnite or mortal kombat, there is no need in ruining a franchise trying to make it something it's not, and there is no reason to deceive people into buying and playing it.
They haven't said anything since it's reveal and we don't even have a nugget of details.

They created Shadow of war/ Shadow of mordor and both games were amazinggg. The Nemesis System was soo great. Best creation ever saw in videogames. Now however they waste that potential. It's quite sad the state of GAMES nowadays.

I was excited for a Wonder Woman game, but WB as a studio has so many red flags that I won't go anywhere near that game until well after its release, if I even do. I have no faith in that project. The studio execs have no vision beyond live service and microtransactions, which I think caused the developers to fumble both Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights, and Wonder Woman I would guess is going to be a similar train wreck, because the best games come from letting a development studio make a game they want to make, how they want to make it, leveraging what they are good at, not meddling, and giving them the time they need to complete it properly. The stance of WB leaves little to no room for any of that.
I enjoy gotham knight for a casual game but it overstayed it's welcome and the ending was weak

I think your skepticism at times sounds more like a complete judgement or critique, like for dragons dogma, we’ve all seen the gameplay and it looks incredible at 30 fps. You just released like a 20 minute long video that was supposed to be covering dragons dogma, but 3/4 of the video you just said it’s bad because it’s at 30 fps. There is a fine line between a skeptic, or ignorant

Approaching any game with a healthy amount of skepticism means that the only people that are unpleasantly surprised by an awful release are the marketing and executive teams of the developers, and the investors that hold stock in those companies.
And the people that blindly just let hype take over all rationale.

Wonder woman needs to be good. It's bad enough they fucked up suicide squad (that shouldve been a layup) but gotham knights too. Wonder woman is one of my favorite dc characters and I've been wanting dc games outside of batman to be good so I can enjoy my favorite heroes.

Let me fight back a bit. I playbon consoles, NOT PC. I have 0 internet or knowhow on PC. Have not touched one since windows 7. I have been talked down to, insulted, degraded and my intelligence put into questioning because I'm not a PC gamer. I'm told "oh you're not a REAL gamer if you don't play PC bro"
I'm sick of that crap being told to me. It's not about a commitment to a plastic box, but talked down to because I don't have a high end Pc (still a box with metal inside mind you) so I ask where is logic in this? I may have a bit of brand royalty because it's what I played on when I was a child. And still play on as an adult. I collect old consoles and games. Yet somehow I get near death threats because I don't own a $2k + high end PC with all digital games that can run at 4k 150 fps or what ever. It's silly to me.
In short, a console gamer Luke myself gets talked down for having fun playing videos games.

Shadow of mordor released in 2014 and was nominated for game of the year, losing to dragon age inquisition. Man I like your videos but please try to read stuff beforehand. Its like the 3rd video in a row with straight up wrong information given to your audience.
Even if it were 2013 Shadow of Mordor would have had little known games like The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V to contend with.

I don't think the Xbox thing was a nothing burger. The rumors were that Xbox was going to start bringing Xbox exclusives to PlayStation, and that's exactly what they are doing. The controlled leaks somehow warps their brains, because after it was like everything was fine.
This is exactly how they started bringing games to PC, same verbiage and everything. This isn't something that happens overnight, they been working on this for a year at least, probably longer. It's only a matter of time, before it's day and date, just like PC. They're starting right now, baking in multiplatform releases from launch. The only question is by which game will it start.

Hear me out: AC Odyssey could be a pretty decent start off to make a Wonder Woman game. It has the Amazon armor for Kassandra. She has the demigod level powers. Mod in some long hair on her, and remove the bow and the spear from her back, give her a decent sword, and there you go. Add in a cool story and nemesis system, and we have a fun game.
Gotham knights is still mediocre it just happens to be better than a lot of garbage we’ve been getting

A big reason I liked the mordor games was the Lord of the Rings setting... not sure how a dc comic setting will be good for the nemsis system compared to the orcs in lotr. Also I don't particularly care about dc heroes outside of batman so this would have to be really good to be of any interest.

Because of two things: One, Wonder Woman is a female character that is established and liked by most people. Two, it’s way easier to make a Wonder Woman game because she essentially has the powers of Kratos, but is not overpowered like Superman.
Superman is difficult to make a game around without the player feeling nerfed.
