    Hello sir u r saying cytoplasmic inheritance and maternal effect are different but u give the same snail shell example in cytoplasmic inheritance video also........and the another thing is as we know in most of the case a protein is not remain stable for longer time then how few cytoplasmic protein which only available once no new generation of that protein as no gene available then how they complete whole evolution process??

    , 2s+s, 1ss) all are dextral, why this , it should be follows maternal of male effect, if possible explain this is given example in gene viii book

    Sir, in F2 generation, for dd type of offspring as you mentioned the phenotype will be of Dextral type by virtue of the cytoplasmic proteins. But, since the genes are of sinistral type won't they code for sinistral proteins eventually?

    Hello, Shomu. In case that the mother's phenotype is sinistral shell coiling (genotype is dd), will all her offspring have the same phenotype as her even if her husband has a dextral shell coiling (let's say a DD genotype)? If yes, then what would happen if the F1 generation is self-crossed (Dd x Dd, in which the female has sinistral shell coiling and the male has dextral shell coiling)? Will the offspring with either a DD or a Dd genotype also have sinistral shell coiling?

      I also have the same question

    • @adavlogs6418
      @adavlogs6418 3 роки тому +1

      No the phenotype of offspring of f2 generation is dextral

    • @debanjalisen4436
      @debanjalisen4436 Рік тому

      The F2 generation will have all dextral since Dd mainly codes for dextral. D is dominant over small d and remember only protein for dextral type is inherited from mother by cytoplasmic inheritance. So intercross between Dd (sinistral) since mother is sinistral, will give Dd dextral in F2
