If mother has effect then in F1 cross it is found that a cross between Sinistral father and sinistral mother have progeny of Dextral. How? If mother is sinistral then offspring also sinistral.

Its mothers genotype that has the effect so if you see from 6:58 Sinistral mother has the genotype Dd that codes for dextral protein so in its progeny all will be dextral.
