Its not about D it is that the cytoplasm will have protein because that female had Dd gene because of which she is able to produce the protein in the cytoplasm of her gametes(egg) .... Then no matter wht is in the nucleus D or d . Cytoplasm have the protein in egg..no matter whether the offspring have dd Dd or DD gene... .

In 9:44 how the all four all dextral ? 3 dextral and 1 sinistral right? Will you explain..at the same time in F1 generation mam said Dd as sinistral but befor that she said dd as sinistral which one is right?
Because, the Dd is a dominant allele and the females with Dd would produce the protein even if she was born sinistral..That's how her offsprings will be born dextral..! Hope you understand 😊
The heterozygous embryo have the dominant gene(D),so this dominant gene will produce the protein in his life cycle & produce dextral offspring instead the parent (Dd) is sinistral...this happens in case of snail ............ok thank you
@@akhilprasad8085 but how can that female be sinistral when they are heterozygous?? Ma'am said that the gene responsible for sinistral coiling is recessive but all 4 are heterozygous then how can they be dextral??

Eventhough mother was sinistral, she had dominant 'Dd' which in turn produces the protein in cytoplasm..As mother's cytoplasm is inherited to the next generation, the protein is passed to the F2 offsprings from the mother and they would be born dextral..:) Hope you understood 😊
@@akhilprasad8085 D will go from mother to offspring in f2 but it will only go in two offsprings, how will the other two (Dd which gets the D from dad and dd ) be dextral?

I have a few doubts.. If in F1, all offsprings have sinistral coiling but are Dd, they will produce the proteins in their lifetime (due to presence of D). So, will the coiling change from sinistral to dextral gradually? I mean, how is that possible? Also, in F2, all are dextral. So, the female dd offspring will retain the proteins provided by its mother throughout her life. So, when she is crossed with another male, she should provide those proteins to F3 progeny too, and F3 should be dextral too, unlike what ma'am has shown. Where am I wrong?
actually, in F2 generation ,the offsprings will be dextral though dd as it is predetermined because of the mother which has produced the protien in her life time. now the dd offspring grows up but is unable to produce the protien as no dominant allele is present.thus the offsprings produced in F3 generation will be of sinistral type.
Mam if in F1 generation all the offspring produced don't have the that protein for dextro. then this Dd are the same offspring who are going to b parents in F2 generation..now how do they get that protein for their offspring...m confused.
The female which have Dd will produce the protein(Dd is dominant allele) even if she was born sinistral... So the offspring produced by that female will be dextral... I hope you understand it
