Put the heagasket and head on first, then install studs. That way you dont risk getting lube on gasket or head nor risk scratching the head while trying to line up 10 studs simultaneously
solid video as usual. loving these new styles of educational videos. good to see that the recommended torque value isn't crazy high. arp recommends 90 ft pounds for the j series and man i think thats is too much. pulled threads out of my old block and felt like I almost pulled them from the replacement block. torqued to 80 and left them there as more felt naturally uncomfortable. block holding 20psi (750+hp supercharged) without issue!
That's the correct way to do it......but the average guy on the street isn't gonna remove the head.😅 they just gonna replace the head bolts one at a time. One bolt out, one stud in and torque down, next bolt out, stud in and torque down 😂😂 just saying
gonna be hard to convert us arp guys without data sets that can prove longevity and rigidity. if it aint broke dont fix it. at least they provide install instructions ig 🤷♂
Step by steps are the best 🙏🙏
3e and don't even own a Honda... But the knowledge is just amazing :)
The k series videos are so appreciated. It’s awesome to see you get straight to the info. Thank you!

Yea nope. ARP ALWAYS AND FOREVER. No offense P1 but ARP is tried and tested and true. And is #1
Generally id agree but also real street knows things
@@ReubenHorner yea but it’s just another product to advertise for and sell. ARP is still a better product
