No. There is even a Hondata system for a TSX, but not Accord. 300whp on anything is still 300whp, even if its slow. 4cyl 300whp is impressive. Just think, one day u can afford to buy a cheap EG and put the 300whp swap in it. OR, go expensive and buy a Lotus Elise and put the 300whp swap in it. Once u have the motor, and running, u can always buy something else to put the motor in... That's where it matters. You did it once, do it again, or just swap it over.

    Nice build, these K series are truly amazing engines. My all motor build runs an A2 block @ 89×99 ~13:1, 4P 156 head and I use E85R now with great results. I'm at a DA of under 300ft so NA combos run great and this is no exception. 336whp and over 200wtq on very conservative tuning. As if this isnt impressive enough my old boosted setup made 600+ with the same head and a stock k20a2 bottom end/Gen 2 6262 from PTE. Love the K series platform!

      336whp all motor with conservative tuning… 🧐
      That’s literally pushing the overall limits of what these motors can produce, also I’ve NEVER heard of one producing even close to that without being ‘stroked’. Even with a small bore I don’t think your making that.
      I dunno broooo 🤥

    • @kennethpowers8995

      @@joeymcquilkin3670 lmao ok bud. We make 440+ at the tire Na with our stroker builds. And if you notice, the motor I was speaking on above is well overbore and is close to 2.55 liters of displacement when it made that power and the head flows insane air. The 156 head program from 4P is top notch, it gets no better. That engine also had insane cam profiles and very high compression. You obviously don’t know anything about the all motor K game so why comment? Ive made over 300whp with stock bottom end K24A2’s just a good head package. FOH

    • @kennethpowers8995
      @kennethpowers8995 2 роки тому +1

      @@premiumc2282 the accord K24z3 in your car isn’t the exact same as the JDM K24A or USDM K24a2 which are a bit more performance oriented. The best thing I can recommend for your car is a good race header like the Skunk2 for the 08-14 TSX/Accord and then KTuner. That alone will pick up a solid 25-30whp over stock if you’re ok with running premium pump gas in the vehicle. If you finish the bolt ons with a good intake and the aforementioned parts you’re going to be nearing the 200whp mark. If you are talking about making much more power than that you really have to swap
      On a K20 head and start getting into cam work and more in depth things like that. Or ofcourse forced induction is always an option; these motors love nitrous.

    Nice vid. The accord is fresh. Im in the process of doing a jdm k24a swap into my fg2 rn. This is my first k24 build, so I’m not going all out like you, but I’ll save that for my dream 250hp-300hp k series frank build when I have higher funds. Can’t agree more with the reinforcement rods, stiffer springs/retainers, and proper pump for 8k + rpm. I’ll be revving mine up to 8k max, maybe 7800rpm because I’m running stock pump, stock internals, except 50 degree vtc. Shooting for 225-230hp, 180tq... Intake, header, vtc, hondata, tune 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Ive been wanting more power just all motor and i will be doing the same build. My car is an automatic but i am doing a conversion to manuel. The build will take time but it’ll be worth the wait once everything is all set and done. Great info on the parts i would need to achieve this goal. Yes most def, in the process of it all if i decide to boost it then it wont be a crazy number. I would boost it to the point where it would be reliable and fuel efficient. My next project build that i am looking forward on doing is boosting a EG hatch which would be track and street driven👍🏻

  • @afewgoodnoobs7934
    @afewgoodnoobs7934 Рік тому +1

    IF YOU'RE BUILDING A STREET SPEC! The titanium retainers are actually not recommended to be used in daily drivers, due to the difference in hardness between the spring and retainer it causes pitting and premature wear and tear which causes them to fail or need replacing sooner than the OEM steel ones. They are designed for higher revving/ higher compression race motors which are opened up regularly for maintenance and condition inspections. Its best to use the OEM steel retainers in your daily street spec for a longer life with a lot less maintenance.

    great video mate, will be watching all your new videos, got my own project in the works, robinhood kitcar 1993 originally built for the xjs V12/rover V8. considering a K swap NA initially but i am thinking hard about twin charging, got a lot of space to shove bits.

    To spark plugs make any difference and what do you suggest?

  • @4bangermafia
    @4bangermafia 4 роки тому

    Might want to mention oil pump from a2/z1 needs to be modified to fit the k24 or it won't mate together. Also rdx spray pattern isn't going to be as good as the more expensive injectors.

    My concern is the transmission. Besides upgraded axles what else on the transmission may need to be gone over? Thanks

    I adore this.
    So nice to see somebody do a N/A build rather than all the boring turbo build.
    I am very surprised you didn't use a K20 head though. Is there any particular reason for this?

    • @milanmastracci
      @milanmastracci  4 роки тому

      Great point! Since the K20 is an 86x86 design, and the K24 is an 87x99, I wanted the head to match the block since I was going with a K24 bottom end. The K20 head might have also worked.

    Amazing project! I prefer the Honda so much over the Mini :)
    Would love you to get another Honda one day (maybe an S2K or even the old NSX) and put a supercharger on it.

      Have you seen the prices on the old NSX's lately. Holy 💩 that went sky high, even for a early 90's needing work their getting in to late 90's Ferrari 355 territory 😱

    So if I have a 1st gen tsx and plan on flashing the ECU I should upgrade the oil pump first since the redline is raised to 7600 I believe?

    • @milanmastracci
      @milanmastracci  2 роки тому

      7600 isn't too high, but upgrading the oil pump is a great way to prevent any kind of lubrication issues when you rev it out. The K20 Type S oil pump is a great upgrade!
