I have absolutely no idea how I missed this reaction, especially coming from your channel! You are the first person that's noticed that he had mid kiss clarity!
what is really really cool is... if you listen to the whole album in order, it is one big long story about the same man and woman's life.... every song on "Bat out of Hell" in order! that is my request.
I feel as if a part of my youth died with the passing of this wonderful entertainer and genuine human being. Marvin Lee Aday (Michael) AKA Meatloaf your musical performances will live on! Thanks for the memories.
RIP Big Guy! You gave us BIg Guys a place in this world, you had confidence and personality! You were a decent human being! And a great artist, with enormous lungs! You will be missed....
“You were licking your lips and your lipstick shining, I was dying just to ask for a taste”. These lyrics are awesome ! I was 14 or 15 and I knew every word to every song on this album.
YOU GET IT!! One of best openings ever.. The lyrics are incredible and the performance is perfect with stellar production to bring help bring everything together. Thanks for the reaction to this...
This brings back so many memories. There’s nothing like Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman collaboration. Meat Loaf always gives his all in performances. This will never get old. If you haven’t. Check out “For Crying Out Loud”. My favorite of Meat Loafs. Meat said in an interview he feels it is the greatest love song ever written. Meat Loaf’s album Welcome to the Neighborhood is very good too. Hers some great ones from that album: Where the Rubber Meets the Road, Running For the Red Light, I’d Lie To You and That’s the Truth, Left In The Dark, Not a Dry Eye in the House, Amnesty is Granted, Where Angels Sing. Another great album : I Couldn’t Have Said It Better. Some great songs from that album: I Couldn’t Have Said it Better Myself, Did I Say That, Why Isn’t That Enough, Testify, Tear Me Down. Here’s some other great ones by Meat Loaf: It’s All Coming Back to Me Now, Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through, If This is the Last Kiss, Is Nothing Sacred Anymore, Love You Out Loud, Read ‘em and Weep, Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are, Razor’s Edge, and I’m Gonna Love Her For Both of Us. Keep up the great reactions.
😆 Well, that was priceless!! The look on your face during the intro and then when he said "I bet you say that to all the guys" and you busted out laughing.... I was waiting for that!!👏😂🤣😂 Yep, u got it, the cleverness of Jim and Meatloaf's lyrics are awesome and NOPE.... he never did actually say it!! lol!!😜 Next for Meatloaf.... "I'd Lie For You (and That's the Truth)" and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now". Think you'll really like those!! Great reaction (as always!!🙃) and now I'm headed to your freaking Led Zeppelin "In The Light" reaction!! Whoohoo.... I saved it for last today!😉 Any Zeppelin reaction from you is gonna be fire (it ALWAYS is!!) so I had to save the best/Led Zeppelin😍 for last!!😁 Thanks for all u do Biz!!😎❤
I LOVE the tongue-in-cheek spoken word entree ....🤣🤣🤣🤣 the sheer energy of the song, the powerful background choir. This song is songwriting on its highest level.
The opening dialog and lyrics are extremely clever as you noted. There is a tongue in cheek irreverence to all of these "love" songs. A full dynamic range opens up the catchy music intro and varies interestingly throughout the song. The back up vocals are powerful along with that "Wall of Sound." But the real hook comes at the end. in what is one of the best rock and roll vocal outros, ever. Pure gold. RiP "Meat Loaf."
That was Jim Steinman in the beginning it's so cool that he did that. I really think that objects in the review mirror may appear closer than they are is definitely something you need to listen to part of it is about his childhood with his abusive father it's such a touching song.
Steinman and Meatloaf were Kings of Melodic bombast Rock for me in the 80s. nice recap. i myself gotta say....it lacks what i did believe to have back then as teen, or i am simply to old to hear it:D
great reaction, i love this song too. u were able to "get" the cleverness of the lyrics after only one listen -- I had to listen to it a few times before realizing it myself. Nice job! Keep up the fun reviews and your style. Great stuff!
Hey, Biz! Do “Bat Out Of Hell” next. Should’ve just done the whole album. All time Classic. Congrats on 20K. See you on the next Physical Graffiti reaction. I have a new band/rabbit hole suggestion, if you’re ready.
Was that your gum? ........No... Wasn't it yours? Be careful taking things out of other people's mouth. Wash your hands before and after. No mask required.
I have absolutely no idea how I missed this reaction, especially coming from your channel!
You are the first person that's noticed that he had mid kiss clarity!
Steinman could come up with the most imaginative lyrics... and Meatloaf could make them unforgettable.
what is really really cool is... if you listen to the whole album in order, it is one big long story about the same man and woman's life.... every song on "Bat out of Hell" in order! that is my request.
I’m surprised no one has written a musical…maybe they will now

THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER MEATLOAF!! AGREE ABOUT THE WHOLE "BAT OUT OF HELL" ALBUM!!
There is no such thing as a bad meatloaf song! You just have to binge on them😎
RIP Big Guy! You gave us BIg Guys a place in this world, you had confidence and personality! You were a decent human being! And a great artist, with enormous lungs! You will be missed....

RIP Meat Loaf, 🥺He was a great storyteller
You don't get intros like that very often! We NEED more Meat Loaf! You need to do "For Cryin' Out Loud" if you haven't already recorded it.
Thank you 😘 I haven't heard this in like 30 yrs🤣🤣🤣
Man could this guy sing.
RIP MEATLOAF DIED AGED 74 born Marvin Lee Aday, September 27, 1947 - January 20, 2022
Will be sorely missed

@@tubbmen Well then, here's another one for ya....🖕
The backup singers are just fucking awesome...
Can't believe he's gone
I love it too.
Have you seen/heard "Paradise by the Dashboard light"?
I highly recomend it.
Should watch the official Promos for songs like his coz the visual is 50% of the overall MeatLoaf experience.
There is a live performance video for this one too! Great song ❤️🔥
I LOVE the tongue-in-cheek spoken word entree ....🤣🤣🤣🤣 the sheer energy of the song, the powerful background choir. This song is songwriting on its highest level.
Underrated reaction right here

all these years & I missed his facetiousness, I love it. Thank you, I know every word to this entire album, new sub RIP Meat
R.I.P.
💯🤯 I love me some Meatloaf‼🔥
Great choice for a reaction, Biz‼❤
(Btw, I really dig the intro, too‼)
Rip meatloaf
The way I heard it, the intro to this song is why the production studio decided to pick up the project.
New subscriber here, "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" gets a lot of shine and rightly so. But this one is nearly as good, i love the poetic intro.
I totally got what you were saying and it was on point
Now you need to watch the video for this. I feel the intro has even more feeling, emotion, passion, than this version.
Good stuff Mr bizz
Thank you
There's not a single duffer on this entire album.
When in the world will you get to "For Crying Out Loud" bruh? Long overdue. It'll be your top 10 of the year, no doubt.
💔Meatloaf
My second favourite song from him.
#1 is 2 out of 3

Never heard this and the beginning threw me off. I thought we were hearing Shakespeare , or something.
Have you seen the Two Retro Grannies reaction to this song? One says about the intro "It's like a high school play!" 😂
