I’ve heard another videos of people showing this WAH, but you nailed the best tone yet, perfect! If it’s possible would be pretty sick to enjoy more videos of you playing this exactly setup
I have a VOX wah, that has been built to '68 specs, and it sounds VERY similar, even the throw on the pedal seems the same. Great pedal, lots of fun to play.
Very, very nice, very ... my Roger Mayer Red Lion sounds similar (a bit smoother, me thinks). Excellent wah technique too. BTW, I used to have that VOX dirt pedal in the 90s.... so glad some people still use it.
@@Jimmy_C_Custom_Fuzz Thanks, Jimmy ! A customer asked me to make a wah-wah pedal and sent me your video as a paradigm or example of a great sounding 60's Vox Clyde pedal. He owns some original vintage ones but yours is something special
@@rcpedals Honestly, I was never quite impressed with this one and sold it. Kinda wish I had hung on to it. But I have others I prefer. 60's filmcan and Stack of Dimes (48) for that Band of Gypsys tone 👍
JimmyC Which kit (Area 51, Joe Gagan, Sabbadius) would get me close to this would you say? Is there a vintage fuzz face with that too? Man, sounds amazing!!
@@jonbarr9195 It's been so long, I honestly can't say if there was a fuzz. I do believe there was...volume backed off. I was never particularly fond of this wah, so it got sold. The Sabbadius inductor may be the closest.
Unmistakable tone.. Great playing and thanks for sharing.
Top Wah Tone!

The best wah ever made
This is the tone of dreams, nice playing

Wow killer Jimi tone!
Wow! Instant Hendrix
Awesome 👏

That Vox booster pedal was actually housing a homebrew treble booster circuit.
@@Jimmy_C_Custom_Fuzz ha ha I see. Cool stuff!!
Beautiful !
What tone and scale are you using?
Oh this guy is good ... Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page would say
That thing sounds outrageously good (sweet playing helps!). Do you use your fuzz faces before or after your wah?
Thank you! Fuzz Face before wah. No fuzz here, though. 👍
Thanks for sharing !
What kind of od have you mixed with the Vox Clyde pedal ? Thanks again
I don't use any overdrive pedals. Just amp with boost and fuzz face 👍

Sweet, sweet tone and nice licks! Are you playing a strat or humbuckers?
Strat. Hot bridge pickup 👍
JimmyC So cool man, what’s the inductor, halo or film can?
