When I first heard this song on the radio in 1987, I knew this was THE greatest song I had ever heard. I was 15 years old and I went to the record store to get the album with my mom and dad. I looked under the P section and found an album that had 4 girls on it, but I knew that wasn’t the band. I looked everywhere for it but couldn’t find it. So I asked the guy that worked there if it had come out yet. He said yes it did and proceeded to take me back to where I had been before. He picked up the same album I had earlier and handed it to me. I was like Oh, this is them?????? From then on, I looked for every band with big hair and lots of makeup. And that’s how I got into glam music. If you like this song, I suggest 3 other bands to listen to. Faster Pussycat, Pretty Boy Floyd and the ultimate glam band from the United Kingdom, Tigertailz.
Poison live is a must see, even now. Other Poison songs to check out should be Nothing But A Good Time, Something To Believe In, and I Want Action. There are plenty of other good songs of theirs, but those for sure have videos. You should also check out videos from The Cult (Firewoman, Love Removal Machine, Wake Up Time For Freedom), W.A.S.P. (Wild Child, Blind In Texas, I Wanna Be Somebody, Scream Until You Like It), RATT (Round and Round, Wanted Man, You're In Love, Lay It Down, Lack of Communication, Way Cool Jr., I Want A Woman), Warrant (Down Boys, 32 Pennies, Big Talk, Cherry Pie, Uncle Tom's Cabin), and Cinderella (Save Me, Coming Home, Shake Me, The Last Mile, Bad Seamstress Blues/Fallin' Apart At The Seams). Once you get through these, then you'll be prepped for another round of hair band awesomeness. NOTE: The Cult, W.A.S.P., Warrant, Poison, and Cinderella all had HUGE hits with power ballads. POISON was a prime example of 80's hair bands. Big hair, loud clothes, tons of make-up & accessories. Yes, they were often times prettier than their groupie-female fans. Thanks for that, I had the biggest smile all along your video! But now, you have open a huge Pandora's Box with this one. I really think that you HAVE to listen to "Unskinny Bop" and "Fallen Angel", I am pretty sure you would have a great time!
You are dope my man, continue to be awesome!
Back in those days, I barely used to understand the lyrics but the videos were so explicit. Just was seated in front of my tv and enjoyed that glorious days. Am from and live in El Salvador.
Hey bro, you should react to this song "She's gone" by steelheart band, you're gonna love his voice
Or "Ill never let you go."
Everybody loves Eileen
Or Can't Stop Me Lovin' You
Either way, at least one steelheart song is necessary
Both "I'll never let you go" & "She's gone" plzzzzzz
Every rose has its thorn. One of the best ballads ever..
I think their best song is "Nothin' but a good time". It's a must listen.
I Love em too!
Flesh&Blood, tho.
Lived thru the 80’s! Best era ever!!!
React to Something to Believe in by Poison 🤘🏻
😢 such a sad song. As long as he does the research about it first
😢 such a sad song. As long as he does the research about it first
Classic.
Love all the glam bands u have been doing poison, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Van Halen and heeps more
classic iconic song next by them my fav Poison song "FALLEN ANGEL"
the singer Bret Micheals won the season 3 of Celebrity Apprentice but don't hold that towards him he's a great guy
One of my favorite songs!!!!
Nothin but a good time, mama's fallen angel, and/or every rose has its thorn
This was just plain old fun music. CC can actually shred with the best of them when playing live.
Oh what a classic. I remember playing this on Guitar Hero 3. Loved it
After I drink coffee I like to show my empty mug to the IT guy, to tell him that I've successfully installed JAVA. He hates me.
Dude, when I was 18 between my junior and senior year of high school I got to be a stage hand for a poison, skidrow, and vince neil from motley crue. Got to help set everything up, see the concert for free, and when it was over as we were putting all the equipment back in the trailers, cc deville himself was walking around shaking everyone's hand..I got to meet him and shake his hand...it was still till this day one of the most badass days of my life...💪🤜🤛
Sex, Drugs, Rock N Roll, & Kick Ass Hair Metal
Those were the days🤘
Lol the memories . Reminds me of my teenage days.
Dancing with myself - billy idol/Gen x
the generation x version has heavier guitars
I'm loving the diversity and appreciation you have for music💜....keep rockin and keep the faith.
Watches hair metal band
"their hair tho!"
*slow clap*
Check out trixters one in a million
Annnnnndddd, thank you for opening up the can of worms that was my youth/puberty. 😂 Man, I feel OLD now, but thank you for the great reaction!
All those guitars of C.C.'s got stolen when he was in rehab
More like he sold them for drugs
Amazing how this makes us think of country music.
We were present as Brett sung this with his bang at a 4th of July celebration a few years ago.
It's just so old fashioned.
Poison is the female version of Motley Crue.
No... That band was called Vixen.
This music is part of the soundtrack of my youth ... Uff! what those times.
Thanks for the video, greetings from Chile
If you like this, check out "Warrant - Cherry Pie"
Uncle Tom's Cabin is way better. Cherry Pie is a just a dumb song that Jani lane always regretted writing.
Definitely a fun band. I saw.them a few times back in the day and as recently as 2018. They still put on one hell of a show!!
It was a decade of decadence..... These guys used more make-up, hair spray and wore more
spandex than there female fans!
Discovering Poison in the 80s is a great memory I wish I could experience it again. I miss them.
I recommend Pantera - Domination, Pantera - Broken, and Pantera - Psycho Holiday. If u have the balls. (pls Reply)
Sunset strip back in the 80s was the best time, best era of music imo....glad I was a teenager in the 80s and got to experience it
