Great job bringing up the topic of supplying Apache hellicopters to Ukraine. If we start serious discussions about this now, they may just have them in five years. This speaks to, in my opinion, my objections to criticism offered about Ukraine's not applying the combined arms approach, as close air support would be a key element. With respect to the KA-52, it is my understanding that this aircraft offers extremely excellent manuveurability and speed as its strongest assets, although I could not speak to its reliability.

Well, what has been happening for almost two years on the eastern flank of Europe constitutes the greatest threat that this continent has faced since 1945. Nobody doubts it. But Europe also has a southern flank, whether poland and the baltics are interested in it or not, and this flank also conceals its own threats, no less existential. Russia lost more tanks and men in 10 days attacking Avdiivka than Ukraine lost in 5 months of their counter offensive. Ukraine didn't move far, but did take several kilometres. Russia has so far taken nothing for those losses. The lines aren't really moving, but where they are it's Ukraine moving them, and Russia taking the most casualties. Do the maths. Orikhiv district: The destruction of Leopards near Kopani: in addition to the successes in the Avdiivka sector, Russian troops also spent a very productive day south of Orikhiv. Video footage shows the movement of an armored group of the Ukrainian army, with a number of Leopard tanks. As a result of targeted strikes with Kamikaze-drones and a couple of salvos from a TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system, four tanks marching in a column were one by one very effectively destroyed. Some other armored (western) equipment was damaged. The attempt to attack Kopani was thwarted for the umpteenth time. The Ukrainian army also tried to attack the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the very infamous area northwest of Verbove. The attack was attended by forces of the 33rd mechanized brigade, which entered the active phase of fighting in the area. At the same time, the last units of the 47th mechanized brigade, which was urgently transferred to Avdiivka, left the Orikhiv sector. This means that the positions of the Ukrainians near Orikhiv have been weakened, which creates very, Very, VERY favorable conditions for a Russian counterattack
