"Russia has set new weekly and monthly records for the size of the occupied territory in Ukraine," independent Russian news group Agentstvo said in a report.
At first they tried to attack local nuclear plant - failed to reach it by a mile. Then they tried to at least move as deeply as possible to force Russia relocate troops from Donbass - failed that spectacularly. Russia instead used that opportunity to move conscripts and use such against Ukrainian forces - a move that would be illegal in Russian laws otherwise. Then they tried to grab as many civilians as they could to use such in exchange fund for their own POWs. That had partial sucess and all morality losses that such move implies - were hiddden by western propaganda. Finally, Zelensky decided that military force inside Russian territory is good on it's own on PR field to sell to the people he begs money from, again, partial sucess. The Ukrainian reserves get moved down in unfortified locations, but Zelesnky managed to get more resources. though, it was mostly due to hysteria among democrats about Trump's victory. On November 22nd, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched missile strike on the international airfield in the eastern city of Dnipro (Dneproptrovsk). Russian Iskander-M missile struck the airfield infrastructure. The attack was filmed by Russian UAV that confirmed the damage. The footage showed that the missile destroyed a hidden aircraft. It was first reported that the target of the attack was the MiG-29 of the Air Force of Ukraine. However, according to the analysis of Russian military specialists, this is the first ever filmed destruction of the American F-16 fighter in Ukraine. According to the analysis, the footage shows the narrow and streamlined fuselage, trapezoidal wings, a vertical keel and the air intake in the center under the fuselage that are distinctive features of the F-16. The Soviet MiG-29 have wider fuselage with side air intakes, larger wings, double tail unit and side air intakes. The more massive silhouette of the MiG-29 is completely excluded, the experts concluded. If true, this is the first destruction of F-16 fighter in Ukraine confirmed by the footage. The first precious F-16 was destroyed by friendly fire of the US-made Patriot system in the Rivne region. The incident took place immediately after the deployment of the aircraft in Ukraine was officially confirmed. The Ukrainian military once again confirmed that it cannot effectively use the expensive Western military equipment supplied by NATO countries. The Ukrainian military cannot defend itself from either Russian strikes or friendly fire. F-16 are precious targets for Russian forces, since they can launch Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG missiles, now including deep in the Russian rear areas.
Russian Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday that it is preparing "response actions" after Ukraine carried out two attacks on the Kursk region in Russia using the US-provided ATACMS long-range missiles in the past three days. According to the ministry, the first attack was conducted on Saturday when Ukraine launched five ATACMS missiles in the area of the Lotaryovka settlement, 37 kilometers northwest of Kursk. The Russian Pantsir air defense missile and gun system managed to destroy three of the US-made missiles, but the radar was damaged after the attack and there were reportedly casualties among the combat crew. The second attack happened yesterday, as the ministry stated that eight ATACMS long-range missiles were launched on the Kursk-Vostochny airfield. The combat crews reportedly managed to shoot down seven of them using the S-400 SAM system and the Pantsir SAM-PKK. Russian experts assume that Russia will strike traditionally at night, and the target will be another Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprise.
