Dr. Mukhurjee’s story about her second tumor hit me a little extra hard, thanks for this video. I mentioned a lung nodule (5mm) noted on a digestive ct to my breast surgeon during my consult (++- idc grade 2), so she ordered a chest ct along with a breast MRI. A PET scan and lung biopsy showed that a different nodule (10mm) north of the digestive ct was de novo oligometastatic breast cancer. While the diagnosis feels devastating, I still think back that if I hadn’t mentioned the nodule, I would’ve received localized treatment of surgery + radiation, and the lung met would’ve been sitting there growing for god knows how long.

Very useful, dieticians exercise and menopause. Should be treated under the breast cancer department.

If only we had the time to talk about this in clinics

This is the first time I am watching an interview between two specialists who also had breast cancers. I can’t thank you both enough. This will be my final push to start exercising again.❤

I’m about to start taking aromatase inhibitors today. I have been having menopause symptoms since my right sided mastectomy. I’m 62 and already went through menopause and was starting to feel better before breast cancer. I wonder why my menopause symptoms came back before I even started the medicine

I have never had any kind of cancer ever in my life. I am 60 years old and I took HRT when I was 52 years old for 5 years. Does this raise my risk of getting breast cancer in the future?
