    I don’t think you can beat Tama for quality drums at an affordable price….

      Hey J, I've owned a few tama kits over the years and was probably socially engineered away from a true appreciation of them by my endorsers for a few decades; but pleased to say that I've loved getting to explore these drums and know them better, and say I agree with you.

    Nice review!
    Could you also do a review on the Mapex Saturn evolutions?

    Beginner drummers would be lucky to choose tama to start with
    The content is easier to watch as you two talk rather than one guy talking at a camera

    Taiwan

    • @KillerDrumsTV
      @KillerDrumsTV  Місяць тому

      I’d say Taiwan, but a tama guy may be able to confirm.
      These days I’m not so concerned with where drums are made but how they are made and what the quality of the materials are used to make them.
      MIT 2020 and beyond is not the same as MIT decades ago.

      What drums do you own and like?

      @@KillerDrumsTV Currently have a Sonor Delite kit. But I think the problem with Starclassics is the die-cast hoops. Never seen anyone get rid of them, though...

    Awful pingy for a wooden snare!

      Yeah, sometimes it's just how the drum sounds; but we really want to present an honest capture of the drums that we record; and also, like Stevie Wonder used to do, just play it as it is and see if you can make something work. Thanks for your comment. TM
