Natural I think too not sampled by triggering and if so I Def hear a mic tone or a great blend...hard to achieve live in metal music I know im a drummer who triggers my acoustic kick and I use digital rack toms

Using triggers, but not relying on them is a refreshing thing to see and hear on this guy's part. He's really hitting those drums nice and hard and that's a nice change! The precision is there, the timing is there, the finesse as well--this dude is Legit. None of that fancy heel toe schtuff, either. Well done!
Triggers are eventually necessary after certain tempos though
@@drummermikerocks1 Absolutely correct, there, and no less an authority than the great Derek Roddy said that as well. What I meant was players who heavily rely on triggers, and Daray here clearly doesn't do that. He has skill and talent to back it up as opposed to cranking the triggers up and letting them do the heavy lifting, was my point.

The description says 10x8, 12x9, 14x12 rack Tom. You can get a Starclassic B/W kit in a 5 piece configuration with a 14x12 and 16x14 floor toms. Looks like he just converted the 14x12 floor Tom into a rack tom.
I wish I could buy a 4 piece Starclassic Walnut Birch without the bass drum tom mount. Is there a way?

22. Daray told about it in video for Heinrich Studio. The toms are huge so it looks like kick are 20, but they're 22.

They're 22. Because of the big toms they look smaller. Though Daray confirmed they're 22.

It's impossible to get a feel for what this kit sounds like when being processed like this. I don't mind a kit mic'd up, but once tuned....leave it raw, and unprocessed. Not compressed with a ton of notes being played. These almost sound like triggers. Not taking a shot at the player, he seems to be a decent player.

Oh brother. He's as tight as a virgin and you can hear it. And with the music industry going to crap, drummers are going to crap also. We won't have anyone good after Gadd, Colaiuta, Weckl, and Chambers pass.
Sounds like this dude needs to take some lessons from the greats before it's too late.
Except those guys only matter to drummers. Not people who digest music. Cant name one song from any of those guys thats memorable. So its all the same and relative to generation. I think Weckl is amazing live, but I never had interest in his studio work.
Drummers are supposed to be tight. None of the drummers you mentioned can do what he can on the kicks also
@@FanaticDrummer It's obvious you don't know what you're talking about. The drummers he mentioned above are the best ever. Maybe get some music education. Those drummers have been on thousands of recordings in Jazz, pop, country, etc. Those songs play on the radio. Hello.
