Use unsalted butter and you'll have a tastier recipe. Salt is added to old cream to hide the rancidity. If you don't buy salted you won't accidentally use salted. Do a taste test with salted and unsalted butter. I can smell which is which.
I love listening to Mashed videos. However this narrator's voice is particularly grating and very condescending at times. Did not make for an enjoyable 10 mins.
I HAVE CHURNED ABOUT 100LBS, OF BUTT IN 5 LBS AT A TIME AS A CHILS ON MY UNCLES DAIRY FARM IN THE1940s, all by hand, no electricity then ,you churn, but if you are NOT watching, you miss the actual moment it turns solid I have NEVER HAD MARGERINE So have zero idea of how it tastes !,,,,🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Which of these issues have you encountered while cooking with butter?
If using salted butter, omit the salt, in the recipe, right?

Never burn butter again... Use ghee!
oops I missed your comment when I made mine. Great minds.......
yummy!
Margarine should be banned. If you want to fry things in butter you can use clarified butter! AKA ghee.
