idk if you're still confused/unsure of what this means (which is totally fine) I'll help explain So Luke and Oli went to a wrestling show which wasn't made/broadcast by a big company, but instead was smaller and operated as a small group. In the match, they hit a Canadian destroyer, often used as a move to finish a match, onto the Ring apron, which is the toughest bit of the ring, and then used that to set up for an attempt to pin the opponent and win the match, but the opponent didn't stay down for the count of 3 and got their shoulders off the mat, and since it's a "near fall" that happened right beforr the count ended, to try and bait the crowd into a reaction
Adding to @crimson-cloud's description, a Canadian Destroyer is classically a very showy, highly impactful move typically used to end a match. It involves putting the opponent's head between your thighs whilst standing, then doing a front flip landing on your backside to drive their head into the ground.
I know nothing about wrestling, but due to watching NRB I keep getting these recommended. It's fun watching everyone enjoy themselves even if I have no idea what they're talking about 🤣

I know nothing about wrestling, I only know the NRB crew (didn't even know that Dan liked wrestling but did for Adam and Sully), and have randomly been recommended three of their clips over the last 24 hours. Have watched all three, even though I've already seen the games played on NRB, and although I'm not following half of what they're saying I'm still watching them all the way through pleased 😄

I think everyone can agree a straight chairshot is boring, however no matter who it is a chair throw will always make me smile. Also with a chair you can do a sabu style springboard, and utilize the edges like in any kevin owens match. Its tough

Wavelength is one of my favorite games for so many reasons. You can play it competitively for points or collaboratively for just having fun conversations; you can easily write in your own prompts depending on your player group (case in point); it's super simples to teach amd incredibly easy to pick up as you play; the fact that most people can think of extreme or bang-average examples of things, but the challenge comes in finding examples when the wedge is *just* one way or the other from center or *most* of the way in one direction; it's extremely low-stakes so if you get it wrong it's all good and you roll again; the fiddliness of the dial adds so much to the cooperative/conversation aspect of the game ("surely, not there, maybe just a little more over here?"); when you're bang on, you feel super clever, when you're off by a hair, everyone knows how that feels and shares the groans, and when you're way off, you get to laugh at/with each other, but there's never any true hard feelings. I love this game so much I bought a spare copy to leave at my mom's house.
If I remember correctly, Wavelength has a rule where the team that doesn't start the game get 1 or 2 points right from the get go to make things more even. Haven't seen this rule in any of their Wavelength games across the channels.
