That is exactly how I felt with pictures. I was like this doesn't even sound fun to play let alone watch. Then they had me at monkey erections, and by the end of round 1 I was like I could probably buy this game next paycheck XD

I wanted to share that tonight I did my second ever stand up set. An hour before the show started i painted my nails for the first time.
I did this and thought of Jon. It wasn't until i saw him have the same confidence with his nails that i had with my colored hair that I knew I too could brighten my life with a splash of extra color.
People were nice about the stand up but the compliments i got on my nails really sold the night for me.
Thanks NRB for being an unending source of content. And thank you Jon for giving me extra confidence to be the real me.

This is a fun one! Like Cockroach Poker and Skull I love a little bluffing game.
Tilly playing in this game after previously proclaiming "I have a very expressive face and I can't stop it" is perfect.
Congratulations on the new studio. Some feedback on the new setup, though. The red on brown, on orange, on orange color scheme is pretty rough on the eyes and offer very little contrast difference. Also I will miss the old intro, it was fantastic. Thank you for the years of entertainment. Get on board!
I actually kind of hate the current intro, honestly. The 3D graphical video is slow and choppy (though the pictures in it are great). I'm sure they'll make improvements pretty quickly, as this channel has been all about evolving.

Seems like a nice game in the vein of Cockroach Poker meets Skull, but I'm worried that because the cards can return to hand so easily a game could just go on forever. Cockroack Poker has a timer in that the end-game triggering scored cards don't return to play (someone is going to lose at some point) and in Skull players either get a point or lose a card, both of which are finite.

Adam was right in the podcast this week: the simpler the game the better it is for content (within reason, of course). The channel is sold on the relationships, and making you feel like you're part of the group and we're all friends... that sounds really sad and pathetic when I read it all back. I swear I have friend in real life, lol!
You are right. The games are almost irrelevant it's the interactions. This is why I get a little sad when modern gamers knock or diss classic games
Back when Tabletop was running, Wil Wheaton did a video on why certain games would never make for good episodes of the show. It all basically boiled down to "Super thinky games aren't much fun to watch", and he's right -- I love a lot of heavier games, but watching me think heavily about every move wouldn't be entertaining, nor would banter flow naturally when a game is heavier (because you're too busy thinking about your moves)
