fun fact: when you enter the orbital debris field, a piece o metal covering comes off and fly's toward your face, the same thing happens when you enter the planet in the life pod. the only difference is that in the life pod, you get hit and knocked out, in the rocket however, you shield yourself beforehand, meaning that you remembered to cover yourself.

That's one of the most realistic things in this game. Debris like that can stay in orbit for a long time and get smeared all around the planet. One major problem Earth has today is too much debris and similar trash. It could severely hamper future space flights.

When i remember , when i was waiting for an update what added the final base with Sea Emperor and now , 8.7.2019 , i just finished the game , it bring me tears to eyes ... So many memories , i grow up on this game and i am so glad of it
Godlee it was such a beautiful moment leaving the planet and then horrible at the same time... leaving my cuddle fish behind and my tamed pets that I have claimed with me at my base.. and the beautiful planet it.. god this game was top notch knowing that you have come all this way and you finally made it to the end. imagine your on a spaceship in the future in like 2060 or something and then it crashes into a ocean planet and you have to go through everything in subnautica and then you finally build the rocket and get to go home and see your family after like 10-30 years
the music is so good and very reminiscent of Mass Effect 1 for me. and the ending to this game i had the same bittersweet feeling i had when finishing ME. the Sea Emperor scared me but also made me feel a bit sad when she said her farewell.

the funny thing that ive noticed about the ending is that you take a special notice to a polar region of 4546-b, which is most likely a hint towards below zero.
Not original but felt this is amazing In the first clip of the game a piece of metal gets detached from the life pod and hits you in the face, knocking you out. In the final cutscene, a piece of metal gets detached from the rocket and comes straight toward you, but you block it this time. I am willing to bet the developers did that on purpose.

great song, great picture, great game. EVERYTHING is fucking great about this game. Whoever has not played it yet should play it RIGHT NOW, and also take the time to explore and do everything that this game has to offer. Subnautica is just too good of an experience to rush it. Once it's over it loses its appeal, so seriously, do not rush this game! Take your time to explore, scan, read, craft and build EVERYTHING you stumble upon, cause once the story is done... you'll wish your memory was wiped out so you can play it again.... and again... and again....
I love that idea of launching a time capsule because you find in the start of the game and yeah plus when you launch the rocket you see that some else tried to rocket launch but failed because if you look at the rocket launch sequence right when you leave the planet you can see some debris and get hit with it.
