Actually, hearing this sort of puts me into the zone, and makes me play much better, hearing Lava Castle in places where leviathans are is much more scary

That fear is honestly one of the things that makes this game so enjoyable, and I can say that I think that fear is one of the reasons that it is now one of my favorite survival games. Not just the fear of the ocean, but the fear of the unknown - this game captures it perfectly. I recommend that you play this game if you haven’t, and if possible, go in blind. It’s worth it.
This is the song that plays during the credits showing that you didn’t just survive 4546B, you dominated it. Harvested all resources, killed apex preadators, single handedly built a starship, and used unknown alien tech to your own use. You didn’t just survive, you dominated.
I have a huge fear of the ocean as well, but I tried out Subnautica and had a awesome time playing. I think it would be a cool game for you to livestream if you are looking for something to play.

I love how the art really depicts subnautica as being a discovery and adventure sort of game!And the song is very well done and goes well with the situation of having to"abandon ship"!Keep it up!
I've been listening to other remixes of this song, and this one is by far my favorite. Something about it truly capture the frantic nature. Somehow other mixes make the song sound more calming and slower to me. I guess because I heard the original song I never actually picture leaving the sub. Instead I see the pilot navigating through the lava corridors using everything he has to evade and mitigate the lizards and the dragons. Refusing to let go of the controls as though his very will is what is holding the ship together. Until finally he reaches his destination and says goodbye to his vessel his friend, as it delays destruction just long enough for him to get out. That's what I see and this remix convays that story very well. Could also be that both just bearly survive and are able to get healed and repaired. Either way this heckin rocks!
Sounds like a sequence when your on a big ass ship and everything's exploding around you with a timer for how much time you have left till everything blows up with you in it.

this is the best thing I've ever listen to, Its so good to see that the Subnautica community is growing, because you think when it was in beta and the developers worked hard but didn't have a big budget, now that all the people tested it, they got their money, and created an AMAZING game, and how happy they would be looking down at this song and every other video about it and its community.
I like how the thumbnail describes subnautica players: When you say "subnautica", those who just heard about the game will think about a beautiful ocean filled with fish, but those who actually played the game will just hear the blood chilling screech and see the massive ghost leviatan coming towards them and obliterating their brand new Cyclop

Also, A bit of reference to Sentient Eidolon there. Specifically the Teralyst, it prevents new players from trying to do missions at night in the Plains. Same as the Void and the Abyss. They all prevent something basically illegal.

I love how the Calamity mod referenced the Ghost Leviathan heck the Edieon Wyrm has the same basic role ... stop player's from doing what their not supposed to . No more Holding Back, They Wish for Demise
Also, A bit of reference to Sentient Eidolon there. Specifically the Teralyst, it prevents new players from trying to do missions at night in the Plains. Same as the Void and the Abyss. They all prevent something basically illegal.
