I have actually had titanium retainers fail. They dont hold up like tool steel and with eventually the keepers pull thru. A little weight in the valvetrain helps with harmonics and stability. Light is good....too light can cause other issues.
Hello, my friend. I’m reaching out to you from Turkey. I own a GSX-R 1000 K7 motorcycle. My cylinder head is in bad condition. The titanium valves are stretching and losing compression. I want to install APE brand steel valves. If I install the steel valves, do I also need to get APE brand valve springs and retainers? Since APE springs are stiffer, could they damage the valve seats? What would you recommend?
Good Video! Thanks for sharing.

Be wary, this tool is too big for the exhaust valves on the K6 GSXR 1000. :((
If a guy from Illinois were to inquire about having you R&R a motorcycle head for him, would you only charge him double? :D
Lol! Easily triple, sausage tax!
