I'm only 6'1" but really affected by the wind buffeting on my standard T7! Been looking at this exact set up from Rally Raid, very pleased that you've reviewed it positively! Thanks for your work, and the comedy!
Try removing the screen completely. Cheapest mod ever. I usually cut oem screens. Going bigger to remove buffeting usually means getting a screen so big you have to look through it. Then the bugs hit the screen and you can't seen squat.
Got me a set, Thanks Rally Raid!!! Love all the kick ass products you guys make for the Tenere. Like the videos as well highlighting your products.. please do more.
Got a T7 ordered and waiting. I noticed the wind flow compared to my Africa Twin glad these are available. I also heard that they are making a TOUR version of the T7, but I'm sure your next video will be all over that. Thanks for the GREAT job!!!!!
Impressed with the review so I went to order me some from Rally Raid. Good price for tall shield and headlight protector (AU$164.88) but....$168.88 AUD for delivery! That is more than the product is worth! Total = AU$333.69 for some plastic. You gotta be kidding me! Got some "stealh grey" wind deflectors from Powerbronze delivered for a total of AU$126.72 which included a AU$18.50 delivery charge. Very happy with the stealth grey look instead of clear plastic.
That delivery charge seems abnormally high. Many riders get together and make a batch order to cut down postage costs. I'm not so much bothered by the look as their capacity to deflect wind. Mind you we fitted these to Clubby's bike, I'm happy with the stanard screen.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV I hear ya buddy. I'm not really into looks either, more of a practical bloke myself. I saw the review just b4 getting my new T7 and the wind factor was the first thing I noticed on my first ride, tried a little duckin' and weavin' and felt what Clubby mentioned myself (I'm 6"). Wind noise in my XD4 helmet was noticable, mainly due to the peak on the helmet, and the camera and comms unit mounted on it. For long highway travels to a destination I will remove the peak and replace it on arrival at the trails (maybe). I also need the airflow in HOT Adelaide summers though, so it is always gonna be a compromise. Best part of riding a bike, you want to be a part of the world you travel through, otherwise go in a car if you want luxury. 😜
Winglets are great in winter but as Clubby said, in summer it's great to have the extra airflow. I wonder if a little screen spoiler would work well on the standard screen. I have one on my GS and it makes a huge difference even though the screen is actually standard height.
Never met a screen that I've liked. On my last few bikes I just cut oem screens down as far I could and live life with the window down. Otherwise the only other way to avoid buffeting is massive screens with attachments but then once a few bugs kamikaze you visibility is lost. Then your like a dog looking out the car window.
I bought a windscreen riser for the stock screen and it makes a big difference for about $25, at 6 ft if I raise it 2 or 3 inches it means I can ride with my visor up even without eye protection, cheaper than buying a whole new screen
Curious whether there is an update on this taller screen experiment. At the moment I’m trying to decide between going for the taller screen or the much shorter Sport screen (Powerbronze) which just covers the instruments. At 6ft 5 on a Rally seat it does get noisy with a side order of helmet buffeting around 50mph upwards.
You guys at Mad Tv are awesome, always love the humor. Hats off to Rally Raid for another awesome product. I was getting ready to place another order anyways 😜. Keep up the great work guys, think we could get a review of the RR soft bags mounts for the rear?

@@Whos-That-Guy Thanks for the input!
There are great people out there making great video content for the T7 with a good sense of humor 🤣 You are on my list 👍🏼
Welcome aboard!
I don’t own a T7, and will never own aT7. But I like motorcycles in general and really enjoy your content. So I’ll watch your T7 videos anyway.

Great point!
I like the way you think Bazza, maybe I'll try this solution myself or get a screen height adjuster kit as a cheap and easy solution.

Do the winglets help with wind noise and buffetting around the helmet? I've went with the taller screen and found only marginal difference.
Just what I wanted, ordered mine 👌thanks for the video and info 👍
Glad I could help
Great video! Very nice accessory for the T7. Really enjoyed your humor! Lol... thanks! Ride safe mates!
Glad you enjoyed it, We filmed more on the T700 today so it will be out soon.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV ... thanks for the update. I’ll be watching for it!
Great videos guys. Does anyone make a great Dr 650 windshield? Any suggestions?
Ask Vince Strang, look him up, he's the Australian guru
Looks good,thks.

Love rally raid. So helpful when i had a ktm 690. Price was good and cheaper to buy bulk from RR then in Aus.
Great to hear!

Yes. It is coming. We got delayed due to Nugget hurting his hand but the review onthe soft pannier racks by Rally Raid Products will be out soon.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV are the new side fairings in this video available yet from R/R??
Well I ordered some, I hope I like them. Going to use the stock height windshield with the adjustable height kit for it with these.
Great review. Thanks guys.
Thanks for watching!
Links to buy the windshield and the winglets?
Mate, I'm not going to spoon feed you :). It's all in the video!

You guys do the work of 2 men, Laurel and Hardy
But who is Laurel, and who is Hardy???
Clubby has to be Laurel, Dave is Hardy
I cannot afford but i desperately want to test ride and have that feelings😍😍
keep saving. But at the end of the day,as along as I have a bike I'm happy. I love the Bajaj 220.
I think the winglets should be shaped so there is no leading edge into the wind. They should have gone under the main screen.
Personifies wind noise? Wait, what??? Love the vids boys but not sure what you were going for there.
Funny you mention that, I picked it up to. amplifies may have been better :)
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV haha. That’s what I thought, but I wasn’t sure if personify meant something different in auzzie land than in USA.😂😂👍👍
