Just got my Tenere back for its 600 mile service and had them install your Rally Raid 95nm spring and change the stock tires to Motoz Tractionator ADV tires . So much for the lowering linkage , haha those nobbys more than make up for the 20mm drop . Guess I have to go on a 1500 mile adventure to lower it again !
I messed up the inner lip of the bottom packer ring when installing my spring. It’s still seems to have enough of the lip left to hold it in place. Should I get a replacement packer ring?
Hello, I broke the thickest black ring when mounting my shock absorber spring on my tenere 700... Can I mount it without ? Do you sell this ring separately ? Thanks.
Hi. I recently bought the spring and it came with 2 different plastic "shims". One is white and other black. Wich one goes upper and wich one at the bottom?? Thanks 👍
Wild One ... Watch the MAD TV essential suspension video...I've been changing out and setting up suspension for years and it's one of the best explanations I've seen, especially when setting up a T7. As a 108 kg kitted T7 rider I set the stock gear according to the advice given in the video as an interim solution. Still a bit too much sag but way better drive off bumpy corners...
hi i just added your spring 95nm to my t7 what setting do i go with now im all stock in preload and rebounf and comp do i add 1 or 2 clicks up or down??
Hello, what does your spring bring compared to the original one? change only the spring is limited either by a progressive spring which will be firmer than the original one may be that it will tail less and will support more luggage transport but you will lose comfort.
atprod you're not making any sense....this is just a spring with a higher rate , it just means that a heavier rider can set the sag without using all the preload. Simple as that.
@@HORNET6 hello, you bring a very simplistic answer. replace an original shock absorber by progressive spring. is not always the solution subscriber. it's more complicated than it sounds. this is a costly solution. but not the best. you necessarily lose comfort. it will be much firmer. and for the versatility of settings it will become all the more difficult to find if you change the configuration. on the other hand if you change the rear spring, you will have to change the fork springs. if it was that simple. we would deliver the original motorcycle with these springs at no additional cost.

@@henrikforsberg683 hi, the original spring cannot perform all the functions if the weight margin varies too much. Excellent video. So clear and concise. Didn’t know this was how it was held together. 👍
I use about 10 cable ties and work them down working around the spring..lol..dodgey, but effective..
very usefull...thanks
Excellent work.Do you have the dimensions of this equipment, I need to make one like it?

Great video, easy. Just ordered a 85 Nm spring :-)
And I watched your vid to get the shock off, easy peasy! Nice
Looking at your adventure rear shock there are several spring options but does the valving change or stay the same regardless of which shock you get?

If i bought the 90 spring for rear shock wich front spring should i get ?
Can you only change the rear spring with out the fronts ?
Thanks!
this kind of spring justifies for road use, weight 90kgs ??
actually I found the stock suspension of T7 pretty damn good for normal use, even too stiff for me and I am heavy guy like 240lb.

Do you also have springs for the front forks?
what brand of springs
Hi, does it matter if the spring is the other way round, i.e, writing at the bottom of the spring and not the top? Thanks
Have the same question? Any answers here?
