Did you know his dad died at 9/11?
@@stellviahohenheim Pete Davidson’s dad was sacrificed so his family could be wealthy? What? Why would you say something like that?
said no one ever
Joe Rogan is literally so easy to make jokes about, like a sketch in his podcast setting goofing on him would be hilarious with the right people
Well, when you have a very intelligent person who has 10’s of thousands of hours doing the most successful podcast in history, there will be a ton of things that you can joke about. How can anyone even watch SNL anymore? It’s physically painful to witness.
@@Highkingofgondor Anybody can make a massively successful podcast. Impressing a 79 year old producer who doesn't care if his show fails is the real accomplishment.
@@Jorbz150if anyone can do it, then prove it- go and make one
I didn't even know who Michael Che was until Tim Dillion tweeted about it at the time. Tim is way funnier than SNL ever will be in our collective lifetimes.
Don't ever remember Rogan painting his nails? Oh wait that's just Pete Davidson being a dork
That’s is poetic rebirth. Saturday Night Live is the last bastion of traditional media. But once it turns on a comedian what was once a career ending sentence is now a rebirth in the house that Rogan built & moved to Texas. The single most physical act that symbolizes comedy’s resurgence of independence away from Hollywood.
That joke went sooo past Joe in the episode. His little jump to emphasize the joke to get a response, haha. Comedy gold in itself!
I remember this and loved every minute. He highlighted what SNL has been for years
If you say Tim Dillon's name 3 times, he'll appear and make you turn the volume on your speakers down.
Of course Tim is playing a character. Almost everyone puts on an exaggerated version of themselves when your knowingly being recorded on film or audio.
I love that his ace in the hole is alluding to the fact tim is playing a character. Obviously dude, anyone who's watched 1 or 2 of his episodes would get that.
Haha he breaks and cracks up every other episode from what I've seen
this guys whole ingredient for UA-cam is to tell a story, read tweets then say an entire word for word subtext just to play the clip that he just repeated all while sounding like Charlie
yup
love u 2lazy keep it up bro
I think the best comedians are the ones that are quick witted and funny when not on stage. Tim is one of those people.
fantastic channel i've been binging you for about a week now. thanks for so many great videos
🤣😂🤣
Love your voice for the actual video but when you read the ads it just sounds so funny/ unexcited about the product and I love it. The voice is always good is what I’m trying to say
Pretty sure the problem Che had was that he felt he might have alienated himself. Imagine, all your buddies you grew up around with had moved to a new town, while you took a job elsewhere. Then you want to rekindle that relationship, but you worry if they've moved on. In this situation, "your buddies" is the comedy scene. Everyone is podcasting while you're mainstreaming.
Would take me a long and hard time to figure what was right and if I could do such a jump.
You can definitely see Che's influence as a head writer. His social media posts are as interesting and entertaining as his comedy writing. Srsly, wtf was he talking about?
che's standup is actually pretty good
SNL use to have comedians that respected other comedians when doing impersonations. Now the comedians act like they are in highschool
This is the only channel I don’t skip through the ads when I listen. if you didn’t know his actual demeanor, you would think he’s purposefully trying to sound as disinterested as possible. It makes every ad feel like a skit. 😂😂😂
to be fair, that is just as funny as Pete Davidson always is
2lazy blowin' up, certified gangster.
The fact that Pete then went the Mothership makes me think that was his vote on what he thought of this sketch.
Glad to see you’re consistently getting sponsors that’s dope man. Good shit.
Tim is a comedy prodigy. Nobody can freestyle like Tim Dillon.
Nick mullen
Shit talking rants are certainly one style of comedy.
I always enjoy how you sound so depressed whilst giving such easy to listen to and sound insight on internet topics. Seems like something that shouldn’t be as relaxing to listen to but maybe I’m depressed to? Is everyone? Anyway thanks bro x
So happy for you that you are getting ads to plug
I hope you are making money from all this
You have turned all my favorite podcasts into soap operas for me.
Too right. This guy keeps me up on the geo-politics of podcasting and it’s great to watch whilst smoking especially 🤣
I don’t understand how Joe Rogan is even divisive or controversial in any way. He’s very reasonable and level headed with his opinions, and he’s even labeled as right wing when I’ve literally heard him call himself a lefty
Because he has publicly spouted misinformation on various topics acting like he is an expert at whatever he talks about. But he is big enough now that he really can say whatever he wants without consequence.
@@Veepy13misinformation about what? Don't just call him a liar without saying what you claim he lied about.
@@shocktnc I mean you’re just as able to google as the average person no? But to humor you, during the covid all the misinformation about vaccines and mask wearing he spread, and how the city of chicago is handling their great influx of migrants recently. Rogan only reads headlines and thought chicago was trying to change laws to allow more immigrants to vote easily. Not true.
I find it funny how right after you're advertising these fresh meals with Factor, you switch frame to Costanza eating chips (I understand its your icon) on the couch with a soda on the couch, Touche.
The way you brought up your patron video on the jez beef is smart. Your videos are well thought out. Good job buddy 🎉
That Joe Rogan impression is like Jim Carey doing a Pete Davidson impression, utterly baffling attempt
Those guys at SNL don’t look at any of the pod comics as real artists. Rogan, Dillon, Schulz, all lessor thans.
Ivy league vs gig comics, we'll take the gig comics.
I saw Sam Tripoli last week, it was all drug and ass-sex jokes, not my scene but at least he's authentic.
@@SoBayK80 I feel a lot of them rely on that teenage boy humor. Constantly talking about masterbating, obsession with gay dudes & diarrhea. Not my humor either
According to who? Rogan, Dillon and Schultz have a bigger audience.
He should have taken a page from my book and said "I'm too lazy to try"... 😂 omg you did not just make that joke
Tim Heidecker absolutely killed it doing a Joe Rogan parody so its not like he's beyond being taken the piss out of him
What made it impressive is that Tim doesn't like Joe, however he put the comedy first before his feelings or ideology.
SNL always barrels forward with both making comedy an after thought.
Dog with anxiety: no I will not take low dose Xanax that's human medicine!
I haven't watched SNL since the late 2000s and apparently i haven't missed much. MadTV was always superior imo
im surprised more more people dont talk about how snl feels very cultish
The sad thing is that Bowen Yang, Michael Che, and Sarah Sherman are insanely talented comedians + writers and they are held back constantly by SNL. The Pete Davidson era is genuinely the most hack and unfunny era the show has ever had.
Never forget that Shane Gillis went from loving Kanye and beaking SNL daily to showing up in Pete Davidson's tv show within the first 3 episodes. Careful who you cheer for.
I think there might be a parallel universe in which Pete Davidson is funny and talented. Physicists are on the case they will find that universe. Just everyone have some patience
Just stating the premise with no actually jokes like all mainstream comedy since 2016
That Shane Gillis jokes that passed over joes head was so epic. I laughed so hard.
Che is so far shoved up TV networks asses that he doesnt know whos popular or doing well in comedy. Tim is CRUSHING it and has been for a couple of years now
They were so close to ruining gillis also. Dogs up!
blessed be the dawgz!
I think Che probably knows the can't say anything working at SNL 😂
Michael che really didn't want any smoke with Tim a real legitimate comedian. He would roast him so hard you couldn't call it beef
SNL sharing that skit on twitter is the regular dude equivalent of getting your ass kicked on video then sharing the video on twitter with the caption “Check out these hands”
Didn’t this happen like 2 years ago? I feel like we’re pretty far removed at this point…
this guys youtube page took off so he is tryin to find anything to talk about. hes been goin back into the past for a while now diggin up stuff from years ago.
I think I need to unsub
Nerdrotic said it best, "The official comedy platform of the State".
I think that Che started to try to ratio Tim, found out real quick that it wasn’t going to go his way, then backed out.
9:55 Andrew keeps time with his right foot when he talks and has no clue he does it. He taps every 4 measures lol. Wild. I’ve never seen anyone do that while talking? Kinda cool.
First time I heard about this guy today in this video. And I love comedy.
6:34 I'd wager he was drunk when he responded to Tim here haha
When Pete talks the room goes silent
Michael Che's initial response to Tim Dillon shows why he hasn't quit SNL. He doesn't want to go back to his old job. Asking if you would like to make it a combo meal.
I think their sketch was as funny as Rogans stand up.
You’ve never watched his standup. Nice try, jelly.
@@Highkingofgondor oh no I have. All of his specials, just High brain and stool humping LOL
Everyone knows the key to a good impression is saying "hi, im so and so"
Nobody outside of this very small podcast community knows who Tim Dillion is
Who sits down and watches SNL?
Pretty sure Joe Rogan actually has more fans than SNL 😂
