Mike please record this in a studio wow you blow the doors off this sucker man great song. Remind me back in the eighties doing time in the Michigan Reformatory prison
Everyone that’s lucky enough to hear that song loves it! I hope so to! I know 5 songs already that will be one the new album and their all awesome, so the new album will be amazing. That song probably won’t be one there but we can only hope that thousands of fans find a new top ten song!
Saw them live last month, to me it was a new song. Guess to most of us there. Anyway, people were going nuts in the pit below. Which doesn't happen often with newer songs of any band.
Curious if this is a new new song or an oldy .. Mikes known for keeping songs in his back pocket. This sounds like it could have been on the cold feelings album
this is a new song. He said somewhere in an interview the theme will get back to the punk, moving back from the style of last album. This song rocked live in Orlando last night. Great vid, but youtube can't do it justice. The band has a lot of energy, maybe more than ever.
...this is not "new" - maybe to the public it is yes but this track is far from a new "song". not a big deal but the facts are facts. ps and as far as "more energy than ever"....uuhhh...no. guess you never saw them at the whiskey in the early 80's or hell even w/ biscuits in the 90's. lol! all the best.
You are correct about the energy Blixa. I was at the opening show at the Masonic..made the trip down there since I wasn't able to make the local Portland date. It was a good show, but ol' Mike I think is starting to feel the years. The set just seemed to drag a bit. Didn't have that old SD "pop" like they used to. Honestly even since Dennis passed on it feels like everything they do is "forced". I've been a fan since the old old days and seen a lot of shows in a lot of old seedy bars and venues, but never the Whisky. That was a place I always wanted to go to. One thing I will say. Ol Mike still draws a crowd and it is really cool to see the young kids out there rocking just as hard as we used to back in the day.. even if the music has toned down a bit. When it is all said and done I hope there is a place in the Rock and Roll hall of fame for him, because his music is timeless and has spanned 3 generations now...and still going on.
eli4s No idea unfortunately. All Mike said on stage was that he wanted us to know, with the two new songs they played, that they weren’t just sitting on their asses being lazy...or words to that effect. :)
Can't people admit new music sucks how can you be alternative when you play the same music every hour alternative means different worst part is 91 x is playing same stuff posers but your alternative
It’s 2:12 A.M. right now and this is at full volume.
that is a bad ass tune
This is so catchy
Hopefully Mike is capable to put out another record soon !
Yeah only been 10 fucking years
Social D has become much more of a touring band at this point than a recording band.
Mike please record this in a studio wow you blow the doors off this sucker man great song. Remind me back in the eighties doing time in the Michigan Reformatory prison
I hope they put “Don’t Keep Me Hangin On” on the new record!

Thanks for uploading. I can't wait see them in Europe.
Anyone have lyrics please?
like it.
You can definitely tell Mike did the Johnny Thunders tribute. This could easily been a Thunders tune. awesome! hope the new album goes punk again!
Dang wished you showed more of Johnny two bags playing with Mike instead of Brent. Johnny is awesome and fun to watch love his style
Wonder if Mike is letting Jonny contribute to the new album?

...you are correct = mike is NOT prolific and most of what he ends up putting out is older ideas re-vamped.

Love it! So, is the new record finally coming this year??

I dig it but I wish I could make out the lyrics.
Joe Donlan Yeah, the vocals were mixed a little low that night, IMO. :(
