You! Yes you, the guy that is about to comment why I didn't include the stats on the video. Check the video description, I left a link with the build stats and other details. It didn't occur to me a good way to show my stats back then, but on newer videos I do!
No worries, all that matters is that you’ve improved drastically Vithark. Your videos have been getting way better to watch when they were already amazing
Which order should I level up tho !?
I’m not a guy I’m a woman
i never play dark souls, if you make a guide show the way where i should go....u give me some names of some items....where the hell do i get them and ,,pikachu resin"....really???
@alinfliy1 you know that shit was funny stop hating 😂😂 this game is way harder than he makes it look bro just keep trying 😂😂 "good game to get good at game" 😂😂😂😂
Fun fact, at 15+ Hollowing, Hollow infused weapons give +5 luck. You could’ve used that first Hollow gem on a dagger to have offhanded for an additional 5 luck.
Cool farming strat
I love the editing when skipping dialogue, gave me a chuckle
I came here for the stat distribution, but the amount of effort and the entertainment this guy puts in here!! 😍😍😍
The captioning when skipping dialogue is pure genius. Had me legit laughing out loud. Bravo! Keep up the amazing work!
The most entertaining guide I've seen yet, well done!!
Damn this is skilled for a small channel, keep it up
I really like the style of video you made here, really cool!
Loved the vid. Keep up the good work!
You deserve way more subs. Good content sir.
I laughed so hard throughout all of this! Bravo!
Idk what it is but listening to Jazz while watching someone speed through Dark Souls is strangely relaxing and inspiring lol
Really like how you comprised this you out in a lot of thought into making this. You got a really good taste in music, I like the jazz funk sound,. Those tracks were groove
Really loved the guide . ❤❤❤👍🏻
Keep it up mate. Great Job
Video bopped - Music, commentary and gameplay-wise!
I loved every minute of this
Because of this, you've got my sub mate
I mean, i didnt learn much from this video but man it made me laugh a lot.
It deserves way more views and likes.
So much work and talent went into this. Gj buddy. :)
This has some very good (and Hilarious) editing. Great job!
Great video, good choice of music. The subtitles of you talking to the NPC’s getting cut off just like “seek, seek, lest...” is awesome.
You just got yourself a subscriber ~👌
nice guide^^ ty for sharing
was really chill and funny
that type of video is something i always really enjoyed and not many are posting such content anymore :(
Thanks! I have more ideas for future videos, but at the moment I'm a little busy with other projects :(
Great video! Thanks for the help!
Your editing is so good! had to go back to make sure I saw "cheese ruler" lol
Had to sub just because I know how much work must've went into editing all this lol, great video
holly shit... lol that was amazing. from a bloodshade lad as myself, i invite you in with your amazing skill with the bleed
love the format and the music, i usually dislike guides
I've caught way more fireballs than is required.
You will have to start all over again man.
This a good video, thanks!
Wow very good content for a small channel 👏 👌
Thanks for the vid my dude
this was sooo good ;D
We NEED more how to vid like this!!!!
These videos are great
Amazing editing
Hey good video man
Just want to point out that there are 8 large shards in smouldering lake - and 4 chunks in consumed king's garden. There's actually a chunk in smouldering lake too.
Yup. Usually, for materials, I put them in optional because that was the way I got them even though there are more or better ways to obtain them.
@@Vithark yeah I figured, I just wanted to clarify just in case someone wanted some extra materials from there. Getting that chunk from smouldering lake then trading a black firebomb to pump a rum allows for a very early +7 weapon
this is some high effort editing
A good bleed build. I try adding some level and change some ring for pvp. I find very well. Good job 👍
Great video, reminds me of the old "Dumbshits guide to Dark Souls" series.
For anyone interested in a more PvP oriented build, consider using a hollow infused Flamberge, a bleed infused Thief Knife, and a poison infused Rotten Ghru Dagger. Thief knife in left hand can get awesome chip hits and will apply almost 80 bleed a hit, people also seem to like trading with it. Get your standard two hits, let them try for an R1, and then get two more hits. It takes so little stamina to spam that people constantly seem to think you are out, only to get hit two more times. Flamberge provides utility, damage, excellent weapon arts, keeps the bleed going from the knife, and can be buffed with rouge to do respectable bleed itself. Ghru dagger is there because if you are built for bleed, you are also built for poison. Two hand it at the start of duels and apply easy poison on the opponent. This makes them go panic mode, either spam rolling to get away or spam attacking to try and end the duel quickly. From may have nerfed bleed, but they actually buffed poison. Put points into endurance so you have enough stamina to always be attacking right up in the enemies face. For invasions, equip regen items and miracles, apply poison, retreat. It's cheap, gimicky, and a lot of fun to do.
As soon as you stabbed gundyr I was into it. I'm very easily entertained
necessary: catch 5 fireballs :D
great and funny video - thanks!
Thank you
This is a good bleed build in 2020 that actually works for pvp if you are skilled enough. Sub and bell ring.
Here's a sub broski. ^^
I seriously hope that most people who watch this video realize that the ring of steel protection works only in pve (in pvp it gives 5 absorption)
You are absolutely right! My builds are more for PvE purpose, but I stop them at SL 120 as a baseline in case anyone is interested in trying them out on PvP.
I beat dancer first run before flappy boys
I actually didn't. No wonder it felt useless in PvP lol. Idk why devs do dumb shit like that. Either balance the items or don't.
@@superspork3975 5 absorption in pvp IS balanced
@@KOCombo if the item did 5 regardless. But different effects based on pve or PvP is nonsense
9:24 that’s just Kevin he’s pretty chill but his downstairs neighbors scare me...
7:07
you can spam r1 and r2 to take less damage and not be thrown
What was your starting item? I would assume it was the life ring but I really don’t know
Ya lost me agter the elevator, i didn't even know there was MORE to exolore there lol
Wow, just fought the giant by duel wielding Uchigatana with ice sword. I forgot what weapon I got from his throne
Yo, what was that song in the cathedral? Is nice
Im playing DS3 for the first time right now and Im using the Uchi with the aim of going for bleed. Amazing video subbed and bell.
I will watch your career with great interest.
I wouldn't exactly call that guide comprehensive you never went over stat allocations. Still entertaining nonetheless
I didn't include the stat allocation in the video mainly because it would make it longer than it needs to be. That's why I'm including a build page on the description.
@@Vithark i see i see well thank you for the reply ill check the build page
@@Saintedlight Bruh just click the goddamn link and shut up XD
@@Saintedlight ur not wrong tho
@@Saintedlight i Guess some people simply dont know what “constructive criticism” Is
Your death in Old Demon guy in Artorias HQ above, that's so funny. Actually, this video is funny plus the wright spellings. HAAHAHAA
How do you stab gundyr with his sword in the heart?
This guy reminds me of ymfah
Can this same kind of build work for the Morning Star? Or any other strength-leaning bleed weapon?
As long as the weapon can be infused with a Hollow Gem and you can put Carthus Rouge on it, you can use whatever you feel like. However, I do recommend using weapons with aux bleed to get enemies bleeding quicker.
I little to fast paste for me to understand but still helps
Fantastic😂
An informative AND entertaining guide video? Fuck yeah
Serious ymfah vibes here
Why did you skip Bloodlust, Anri Sword, and Carthus Curved Sword? Are they bad bleed weapons? Also Luck build is same as Bleed build right?
Pretty new to bleed (ik pretty late) just trying to get back before Demon's Souls ;)
And why farm Warden Twinblades on Untended Graves instead of the earlier area?
I just felt like using Warden Twinblades for this build. You can try different weapons and test for yourself which suits you better (not Bloodlust, that's more like a meme weapon). Luck scales certain weapons damage like Anri's Sword but can also be used with a bleed build in combination with Carthus Rouge since it also affects the bleed build-up. You can try to farm Warden Twinblades in the Cathedral if you feel like, but it will be harder since the longer distance from the bonfire and the lack of damage at that point.
@@Vithark Thank you so much for the informative reply and for the great video! Will keep that in mind :)
I enjoyed the video. Was very helpfull. I wish you would use voice over rather then text. Only reason i could see anyone hide they’re voice is if they sound like a 12year old or are female and try to stay low key. But stil, i liked it. Keep up the good work. :)
You BROKE gundyr's Heart
I assume this does more damage than Sorc. I'm doing fine damage as a Sorc but it's not particularly impressive
Would it be better to use a bleed infusion?
It really depends on your preference. While Bleed infusion grants slightly better bleeding, Hollow infusion doesn't sacrifice much of the physical damage while still giving nice bleeding output. I prefer the latter since there are a few bosses in the game that are immune to bleed.
ymfah but instead of powerwolf it's elevator music, and also up to date.
You did not put videogamedunkey in here 😂😂🤣🤣🤣 I cried when I heard him and the dragonslayer armor boss fight
Love the smash Bros "game" moment 😂😂
Burial gift?
What would you recommend for a using the free lvls
It really depends on your level and how you allocated your stats. If you are planning on going full damage, get that Luck and Dex up first. If not, then try to hit every soft cap first and then decide what you are lacking.
Really great guide, and easy to follow because of how entertaining and fun you make it look. I was just wondering when do I spend my soul to level up?
Whenever you want lol (I edit it out for aesthetic purposes) and if you are wondering where to allocate your levels, check the link in the video description.
@@Vithark Is it better for earlier levels or wait till you got items?
If you wait for too long, you might end up losing them. I suggest planning ahead and have at least the minimum requirements for your weapon of choice. Also, try to get enough Vitality so when you get the whole build, you don't get past 70% equipment load.
Would you ever do a updated version of this guide?
If I happen to run out of build ideas for DS3 or if it's highly requested, I most likely would.
@@Vithark okay man and by the keep up the amazing work these guides are so dam helpful
So Umm…how does one went from 10 vitality to 8?
Confuse from that stat link, unless mercenary starts at 8? (Never started as Mercenary)
Apparently, the stats were kinda bugged, but I already fixed it. Thanks for letting me know!
@@Vithark ah ok, btw awesome work with unique builds here!
This feels like 210h of playtime.
Edit. Was only half way into the video when I wrote 100h.
This build took me around 10 hours iirc
@@Vithark crazy wp! Enough said.
isnt it better to go 60 dex sharp twin blades with 25 luck, and carthus rouge on it, since luck doesn't change the bleed buildup that much, stopping at 25 will give u the value u need on it ?
I just made a little comparison between both and indeed you get slightly more physical damage your way. However, I believe Hollowed Gem gives you a more balanced physical damage/bleed output. If you try it your way let me know how it goes!
@@Vithark its probably weapon dependent ive been running the build I just mentioned for a while and its working fine with me, but some weapons literally have no change in bleed hits to proc between 20 and 40 luck
Hey good vid and if you leveled to 133 what stats would've you leveled more for the build?
I would probably keep leveling STR until 40 then VIG to 50 and finally DEX to 60. After that you could try to finish any other soft cap.
Quality
I get a start to finish with this sexy saxophone to listen to. Music to my ears. I’d like to know the name of that piece
Check the video description.
Very much appreciated. Keep up the good work
Trap eater🗿
Does the class matter in the long run
Not really. It just helps in the beginning.
Amazing video, helped a ton,
Ymfah inspiration?
Glad to hear it's helping people out! And yeah you could say so
I know I’m late but The turtle dude is dead for some reason and I didn’t kill him
He dies after receiving the fifth Dark Sigil (using the “Draw Out True Strength” five times). I believe he also dies if you kill the Abyss Watchers and venture to the catacombs.
Does hollow builds still work good?
I decided to roll with hollow for this video, but any bleed build still works great for PvE.
I hate that basically if you want to play a bleed build, you'll see results only in a Ng+
That’s just not accurate . This guide is really well done in terms of production value but he should have started as a thief and used the Bandit Knife until farming either the Warden Twinblades early in the Cathedral graveyard or the Flamberge in the Undead Settlement. He says it’s better to get the Warden Twinblades later but I couldn’t disagree more. You also want to use a Bleed infusion not Hollow w/ CR. You can only carry 5 CR’s at a time. There is a whole UA-cam vid where the guy breaks down the math and the Bleed infusion is more efficient because it’s percentage based. The hollow infusion is entirely reliant on Carthus Rouge. So you could just use CR on a Dex build and get the same results as Hollow. But you can only carry 5 at a time and each only lasts a minute and costs a thousand souls a piece. Go bleed infusion and by mid game you’ll crush. Go +10 Bleed Bandit Knife two-handed @ 50 Luck. You’ll stun lock everything in sight and bleed proc insanely fast. It’s super fun. Crowd control is an issue at times but it’s still a ton of fun. Highly recommend. One of my most memorable runs. Very important to two hand the Bandit Knife. It doubles the weapons range.
Why choose mercenary over the thief?
Mainly because I wanted to start with a weapon similar to the weapon of choice. Stat-wise doesn't really affect you in the long run unless you plan to do PvP or need a niche item at the beginning, then just pick whatever class you feel more comfortable with.
Why did you put a hollow gem instead blood gem???
Did you find out?
LOL EPIC LOL
Came for a blood build made easy to understand? Saddened by the excessively long video?
Let me help you.
Grab some manikin claws, level them up, infuse blood gem for 60 blood stat which I believe is the highest.
Fuck hollow gem it’s stupid. Fuck luck it’s stupid. Put stats into dex, grab a sexy dex weapon like a katana (dark drift is best , highest blood of the katanas) and use Carthus resin
There’s your blood build. You’re welcome
Luck does influence how quickly you proc bleed, it's not gonna hurt to have it at like 30-40 if you actually want the bleed to come in clutch.
vape lord 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"guide" its just him progressing and killing things, not even show the levels in the process.
Average elden ring player
I wish I understood where tf I was supposed to go this sucks
"trap eater"? yikes........
