- New innovative chat client comes out
- Becomes really popular and kinda the standard
- Gets bought by some big player (or focused by them)
- Chat client becomes worse and worse
- People migrate to the next chat client
ICQ, MSN, Trillian,Teamspeak,Skype, Curse (now Twitch).... and soon Discord.
the question is whether they are buying something and running it into the ground, or buying something that's got problems about to bring it down eg murdoch buying myspace

@Chickabumpbump then i would still own the disc and product on it. It would become more valuable if I purchased a disc and they quit selling it or deleted it. Such as the cyberpunk fiasco, where Sony doesn’t sell digital. Only disc. Also, if I choose, I can sell what I’ve purchased for something else if that’s what I decide.

You can't say this in regards to discs. Do you even own a disc? Do you even know what a disc is and what you can and can't do with it? They can't remove shit from a disc unless you download an update that would delete half the game itself somehow or there was nothing on it to begin with. There's never even been a situation where that ever actually happened and if something like that does happen, just don't update the game. Look at the patch notes before installing the update.
The company would immediately be sued out of existence if it happened and would most likely be forced to refund everybody even if they can't afford to.

I feel you missed the main point, while yes it is cool that when the switch goes 4K do maternal, Apex legends and games and such will be much better on the switch. What people are finding the most alluring about this is that we will be able to play Mario Pokémon Zelda all in 4K crispy resolution and frame rate that’s why it’s huge news

Yeah that’s pretty retarded how Sony would waste all those classic games and not preserve them for generations that’s why PC emulation and Xbox backwards compatibility makes me happy because I still want to play all the old games I loved growing up without having to keep my older systems to play those games

Easy GameStop conversion: Turn them all into PC bangs
- Provide top tier broadband access
- Let users bring in their PC's/consoles and allow them to buy/download games (one stop shop)
- Provide a mini cafe (coffee/energy drinks) on-site
- Give people incentives to go to the store like (allow 1-week early access to games, entrants to tournaments, provide free things like guides or games)
- Make it a location for people to hang out and meet new gaming friends.

Pontes (known for making some of the worst games on the PS4), who's been trying to get Jim's channel taken down by abusing UA-cam's copyright strike system. UA-cam tried to ignore the whole affair until Jim sent a statement to UA-cam that Jim's lawyer would be prepared to bring this matter to court, to which UA-cam quickly removed all strikes after receiving the statement. Even though Gilson failed at taking down Jim's channel, Gilson sent more false copyright claims to try taking down Jim's channel again.
Its funny how cowardly YT is when someone decides to get their lawyer involved. They're so fearless and so quick to blindly screw people over until that person had enough and then YT realizes "OH SHIT, HE'S SERIOUS!" and then caves real quick, only to go back to doing the same shit again.

I've had a few bugs on Valhalla but everything's been almost perfect on my Series S Performance mode. There is a lack of Weapons n Armor
The last 3 times i walked into a gamestop over the last 6 months they didnt have what i was looking for and the walls were bare... not in the sales are up way either but in the we arent stocking anything way

@@TheAlienGangster I think if Microsoft just adds Discord Nitro as a gpu perk, integrates it with Xbox party chat (and hopefully Playstation too), and doesn't interfere too much, they should be fine. But it being Microsoft it could go one of two ways easily.

- Nintendo games
- being able to play certain games on the go (bonus)
Just get a XSX, or PS5 (whichever you prefer) if your gonna go doc mode. If you have $1,400 and are willing to spend that, and wanna play with a monitor play on PC.
im just now playing Odyssey and i LOVE it. and since valhalla was on sale i wasthinking about getting it (idc about time savers really, i bought the xp one in odyssey since it was only $17 for the game+DLC on steam) but thank god i didn't pull the trigger listening to all these post-launch woahs. Thanks for letting me know to wait till its $17 on steam!

5:11 I agree. Docked Switch is pretty useless if you already have an Xbox or Playstation console. I mainly use the Switch handheld only. Let's hope they make another Switch Lite too.
I dock the switch exclusively. I think I may have used it twice in handheld. It's battery leaves a lot to be desired. I don't want to have to stop playing after an hour because my battery is low. So i only ever play it in docked mode.

To be honest, buying Discord makes sense, its essentially written in C# in the electron shell which is basically what runs VS Code from MS so it should be easy to implement and integrate with existing tooling/services at Microsoft. Plus all that user data is what MS wants. They can monetise the hell out of it with Azure doing the heavy lifting and all that tasty data mining/selling since it has not been profitable for some time and must cost an arm and a leg in hosting, storage and bandwidth. What with video, voice and chat/text/images/gifs and so on. It could go IPO but been acquired by MS would make more sense. Plus it would go with there aim to be the main online game distributor/cloud gaming service on PC/Xbox with the best and most intuitive gaming social media tool we use today. Plus it would replace Skype which has been crap for awhile now.

Both cyberpunk and avengers took a path to fix their game first after a broken launch, while ac valhalla decided to release dlcs without the notion to fix bugs first.
I had 2 minor problems of 200 hours playing Vahalla where i just had to reload the game.

I have some digital games, but I still prefer physical. Partly do to the fact all online stores close eventually at least with Nintendo and PlayStation. But I still try to avoid game stop at all costs lol. Kinda sad to see what game stop has become when I think back to how they used to be.

It's important to say that we have phones that can play 4K so the technology is definitely there. As an example my Galaxy S21 can play videos in HDR1080 60FPS I had never seen that option on UA-cam quality ever before (it's specific to the video but still) these screens are literally OLED.
Because everyone has a Samsung 21, a phone more expensive than any console.
