They can retain the option to sell on the NFT's if they no longer want to "subscribe" to this "membership". It's definitely something that gives NFT's an actual point to existing other than tricking ppl into thinking they own the very first Tweet when they very much don't, but it's a slippery slope and I don't like anything that could normalise an already questionable practice

Its necessary to clarify that several Texas employees of CIG (not Chris Roberts, not a man in a suit in Germany) said that the article is false and at least "they and their colleagues" were supported by the company during the storm. So we can conclude one of two things. Some communication problem that affected a handful of employees, or Kotaku's "testimonials" come from fake employees (it wouldn't be the first time, and I really don't trust their journalistic rigour). But of course, "professional journalists" are unlikely to dig any further into this. As Joe said, at this point there are already people (or bots, who knows) whose aim is just to hate the project, and they're very dedicated to that work.

People almost exclusively from the community/HR teams or LA/UK came out and called it false. Despite being the ones affected there was only like 1 voice from Austin without a direct conflict of interest in their job title. Which is understnadable because if you go to social media or the news and identify yourself in this sort of situation you get fired.

You sweet delusional summer child. Pretty much all positive articles you see on gaming sites are paid marketing by the publishers or game studios. And the majority of such marketing publications gets released in 1-0,5 years before the game's planned release to build up the hype. This is an industry accepted practice.
Any articles outside of that are either personal initiative of journalist or a clickbait aimed at getting just a bit more views for the ad providers.
The reason you mostly have yellow rags like Kotaku write hitpieces about Star Citizen is because CIG did not start the marketing push yet.
And you can be sure that once they do - in a year or three, or however long it takes - the same gaming sites will do a 180 and start singing praises like the mercenary shills they are.

That Star Citizen story was fake, btw. Kotaku originally broke the story, and as it turns out...CIG devs came out to say that the article was falsified and misleading. Kotaku claimed to have a source inside the company, but many Kotaku readers noted that if the source was real, then it wasn't vetted properly as the source claimed multiple things that real CIG devs said were false. This should be mentioned in the next News segment.

Why didnt they dig on this story at all? At 16:13 joe praises kotaku for "exposing SC" saying that writer was good and this one for the pokemon story was bad. They said that thousands of fans on twitter were calling out the pokemon article but the exact same thing happened with the SC story including devs from Austin even responding saying they had no clue what the article was talking about. Then again at 17:10 Joes saying how shitty kotaku is
This is the 3rd or 4th time they went on a headline and done no research (2 min searches at that). AJS fan for years but last year or 2 I am no longer. Not because of SC but the fact it obvious they are either useless or bias.

Hey guys your audio level has been way too low on the last 20 or so videos. You need to check your output level to make sure it is as loud as it needs to be, so the viewer doesn't have to unusually crank their shit way up just to compensate for the issue that could have been fixed during production.
Least is better than before when it was too loud now u can simply up the volume a notch and chill.

Pokemon egg loot boxes? My mind can't comprehend that.
As a casual Pokémon player let me tell you that the eggs are not loot boxes. I hatch eggs constantly and they are very easy to get. They do not give out any overpowered Pokémon. They are not scams and I have never spent money on them cause you don’t have to.

I've been playing pogo avidly since 2016 and can tell you straight up YES eggs/egg incubators are definitely a form of a loot box.. you need to buy incubators to hatch eggs and they even have a super incubator that's more expensive then a regular one that cuts the hatching process in half. That being said what's in the eggs are random pokemon to each KM egg. And they all have hatch percentages based on rarity/strength.. the higher the rarity or strength the way lower the percentage. Wake up and think b4 you blindly spread false information please.
@@tiedyery670 bro you don’t need to buy any incubators. If you are active at all you can hatch up to 5 eggs a week and not have to buy any super incubators. And the Pokémon you get are usually not very strong and anyone can get one with ease. You obviously either don’t play often or you are just mad that they are not a scam

Eggs never really seemed like loot boxes to me tbh. I play pretty consistently and eggs have always been just extras. 2Ks hatch fast and i'll either get one 10k or 2 5ks done while working. Extra incubators has never really felt like a necessity. Nobody that i play with actually pays for incubators. The money is in the remote raid passes which tbh if youre a casual player they are pretty generous.

As a casual Pokémon player let me tell you that the eggs are not loot boxes. I hatch eggs constantly and they are very easy to get. They do not give out any overpowered Pokémon. They are not scams and I have never spent money on them cause you don’t have to
